A bit of common sense here guys and a bit of belief towards our takeover.
1. Gerrard has won a title up here - yes
2 clement won 2 titles in Belgium, none up here and sacked.
3, Jose has had success but plenty of pay offs too when things have t quite worked out.
4. Brenda nearly won the EPl with Liverpool but didn't ? But wins trebles up here. ? Leaves Celtic for Leicester but didn't happen for him.
5. Celtic. Looked dead and buried under Neil Lennon until Ange came in first season wins the league back ?
6. Ange leaves doing not so good at Tottenham now even though his football up here was well received by our counter parts.
7. Brenda comes back looks to be winning another treble.
And we believe as a support it can't be done by Gerrard or many others who have been mentioned as potential managers because as individuals we don't rate them ?
that's interesting ?
Why can't Gerrard win 56 with the correct backing and correct signings this summer and the right team behind him.
It beggers belief Celtic can do it all but to some of our support we can't. Wow! ?.

Simple in my opinion stingo, Steven Gerrard doesn't have the capability of a good manager, poor everywhere he's been since Rangers, plus he had our wage budget through the Roof, really can't even see him coming into our new owners thoughts.

My star to be fair to steven gerrard surely you and everyone else that doubts steven gerrard's managerial capabilities knows that gerrard was nowhere near ready to go and manage a big club in villa in the english premier league ? He should have stayed another good few years as Rangers manager and i've absolutely no doubt he would have retained the league title, absolutely no shred of doubt for me ? Because he's failed in his last two jobs doesn't automatically suggest he'd fail back in scottish football at Rangers because he has good attributes imo ?.

Think the magic behind Gerrard unfortunately was Beale as coach on the grass. Everything went downhill for both when they split up. Think Gerrard would be a great manager if he has great coaches around him. Look at Barry, Neil McCann is the brains and technical coach behind the scenes. Barry on his own with average coaches did not survive at Clyde, Alloa or Kelty never mind Rangers. It's not about the 1 manager it's the coaching team behind them that's just as important. Imagine Gerrard announced with Beale as coach! Is that a possibility?

Stig I think with some it is that he left quickly to Villa. To others it is that he was backed when he was here last time and only managed to win 1 trophy with that backing. I see nothing in the interim since he left to suggest that would change even with backing.
Oh and Rodgers actually has a reasonable record with most teams he was at down south and he won the FA cup with Leicester which is good going for a provincial club.
I think we don't go back but that is me with everything really. not saying he wouldn't win but we need someone different with a different view to take this forward.

We have plenty of positive things to talk about to keep the pages busy I'm just trying to enjoy the start of hopefully the turning of the tide for the club and happy to see everyone chatting having banter and having good debates for such a rubbish domestic season for us the chat on here past couple weeks has been great everyone looking forward to the future and getting involved think it's been good ?.

Rodgers still won a fa cup with Leicester, yes they got relegated in the end, but still won something. SG left in the middle of the night and some fans still think this is acceptable. ? he won one trophy out of nine and failed to win a treble that was on a plate.

Fork correct, kettle pot black.
So many choose to ignore, Gerrard, McAllister, Beale, culshaw went to London to attend a birthday party, one of the coaching team.
It just so happens that Villa representatives were there, suddenly a great opportunity, having been given permission couple of hours previously to talk to gerrard and his team.
In fairness so few hotels in London, it's just a coincidence they were at same hotel, which transpires villa paid for.
He should just have waited a day and been honest imo.

He should be the first out the door, talks a good game on the TV and radio but is absolutely clueless.
