Read today our club will be sanctioned again by UEFA for trouble between both sets of fans on Thursday.

Not sure UEFA have any weight if the trouble is well away from the stadium?
And the only trouble I've seen online is the Bilbao fans going in mob handed on a couple of normal Rangers fans.

Read 6 arrests, 4 locals n 2 Scots.

If the do we should sue them for corrupt refereeing and potential loss of earnings.

No trouble in the stadium. Despite all the media build up, it was a very civilised environment. Fans weee all mingling on the way out and no hold back. We were in a bar outside the stadium 10 mins after the team had left the pitch. Saw the video of the three guys getting hit but saw nothing off any bother in the city and the police and stewards were all great in my experience. Apart from a muted chorus of HH, the songbook was all above board too. Be very surprised to see any kind of sanction and would have no idea what it would be for. Also, no pyro thankfully.

Ibrox, did you think that was a pen on Dessers?
What was the feeling amongst the Spanish reg it?
19 Apr 2025 16:45:17
I can agree with Ibrox4me. I was in Athletic end right behind the goal for their penalty and never had a bit of bother. Also had a great view of the handball incident. Athletic fans around about thought it handball and penalty. Hopefully we made our concwrns known about this ref quietly and BEFORE the tie. I'm not going to cry corruption. Just bad. And I see no reason for any sanctions for Rangers after that game.

Mark, a penalty and red card all day long. Haven't spoken to anyone who thinks differently. A few of the locals admitted they got lucky. I haven't seen the second one again, just thought we had a shout at the time. Not sure what the second question is?
19 Apr 2025 17:18:56
I was in the Rangers end, just that the ease of getting in and leaving the ground and lack of any tension in my experience was great. I did hear about some Bilbao fan groups scrapping with each other after the game, with one group setting a car alight, but everything I saw of our own fans was pretty decent.

Same ibrox/ bear abroad thought it was a brilliant atmosphere between fans from the minute we go into the city. Spoke to a few locals all thought the dessers incident was a penalty, one saying he couldn't believe his shirt was nearly ripped off his back and no penalty, he just couldn't understand, anywhere else on pitch it's a free kick he said, my thoughts exactly.
19 Apr 2025 17:56:17
Ibrox, most of us on here thought it was a penalty as well.
My second question was what the Spanish thought about the Dessers penalty decision, but you answered it in your reply.
Apart from the result obviously, did you have a good time?
19 Apr 2025 17:56:21
It wasn't a red card tho ibrox.
19 Apr 2025 18:47:50
Had a great time thanks Mark. I'd never done the North of Spain before and absolutely loved it. Had a good bit of time to explore too and thought the food was some of the best I've had. Wine tremendous too and the company top notch. Met a lot of brilliant bears, one of the best things about away trips.
Storm, possibly not a red. Always subjective when interpreting a goal scoring opportunity but it was absolutely a penalty.

if he gave the pen he would have given a red, imo.
