Can we have an honest conversation now about who IN AN IDEAL WORLD we would keep for next season?
I am GENUINELY struggling to say anyone. Possibly raskin and diomande. Sometimes I think souttar and butland (based on ability). But to be 100% honest, no one is "safe".
The decision making is criminal. Just before half time against Fenerbahce and tonight we shoot ourselves in the foot. Defence a massive problem and no creativity at all.

Keep Souttar as backup.
If we don't sell, I'd build my team around Raskin, Dio, Igamane. Keep young guys, with potential, Nsiala, Barron, Cortes and Cameron
The rest I would punt out the door.

I'd keep a few but solely because swapping out a full team except for 1 or two is wholly undoable without a court of years to do do.
I'd keep Kelly, Souttar, Nsiala, raskin, Barron, Dio, dessers (only because at the moment he is always fit and only one scoring regularly) and Igamane (but needs to show real improvement as I've not been impressed with him at all for months)

We have decent players who with some quality additions will make a good team and with the right direction and management will come good. however it will be that competent management who need to make the decision and I am happy that they will be able to do this once we get the Takeover out the way and the DOSO and manager appointed.

That said, think it will be impossible to manage a turnover on that scale.

@Gtgac I'd agree with that.
I get Igamane has potential and is young and inexperienced but I'm not seeing the 20million player everyone else does. He plays with his head down a lot and doesn't see the runners beside him.
Feeling the same with Cerny, the amount of times he should pass when he doesn't is really frustrating. He's starting to look like Kent to me. Lots of promise and can beat a man but is trying to do it all himself.

Dekeyras that is the development part with Igamane, i. e. ironing out all or most of the rough spots. he probably isn't £20M at moment but depends on what clubs will pay for that potential.

Appointing Barry even as an interim was the most stupid decision made by Rangers Board in 10 yrs . How could they appoint him and to make matters worse they surrounded him by men from media who after they are moved on will make problems for their replacements . Employing a manager who failed at Keilty Hearts has supporters of most SPL laughing at us.

This close season is most definitely going to be very very important/ crucial to major decisions made/ addressed for the short term/ medium term of our club being able to challenge Celtic for the league title and of course the two domestic cups ? Firstly, this takeover has to happen and hopefully it does ?Then there's the very crucial/ must get right appointments to be made ie. dporting director, new permanent manager and his management team, rebuild of players being recruited and players leaving and of course commercial sponsorship to bring in much needed money to our club, coupled with player trading sales at the correct time ?I pray for all of this ?not much eh?.

There will be a lot of people disappointed on here because we have about 15 players that need to go and we certainly won't be bringing that amount in so some of the ones that the fans have currently turned on will probably stay. We won't start the season with untried youngsters who are not even part of the first team squad like Munn, Hutton, Nsio . Kasanwirjo, Fernandes and Cerny are not ours to keep and I would think they only one we might want to keep is Cerny . Balogun, Devine, Lawrence and Hagi will be freed and Davies, Dowell, Cifuentes and Matondo will hopefully be kept by the clubs they are currently with . Hopefully there will be interest in Propper, King, Dessers and the always injured Yilmaz. There must be huge question marks over Danilo and Bajrami too so if the new owners want to bring on 5 or 6 quality signings we may need to keep some of the current squad around to have adequate cover .

We won't be able to replace everyone but going into a new season we need a keeper rb 2ch lw rw and a striker that's 7 players even thst maybe too much in 1 window.

To be fair anytime raskin got on the ball he had little to hit and when we tried to get it upfield dessers couldn't keep hold also cerny looks to have checked out and hasn't looked interested for weeks.

Mark it was more excellent forward play coming in on Suits blind side and positioning body like he did. Suits wasn't even aware he was there till it was too late. It's elite level and excellent CF play.

Mark he always has a mistake in him it was great forward play but it was terrible defending from him as he should know where attacker is as it's his fecking job. Can't believe people making excuses for him probably same people that keep making excuses for Tav not being able to defend. If that was jefte side he would get dogs abuse on here for that.

Souttar is an average player for Rangers. We need much better. We've had better Centre halfs than Souttar over the last 5 years. Why could we not get better?
