EHL/ John

I've seen a lot of folk posting on here recently regarding Kasa being here next season, do either of you know if his loan had an option or obligation to buy attached to it or if it was just a straight loan. Surely talk of him being here next season if premature as he never had much of a chance to play before he was injured, I agree he looked decent but maybe another loan for next year might be a better shout and make a decision then.

I thought it was a done deal to be honest.

12 Apr 2025 10:05:54
I have no idea, that's why I was asking, I like the guy from what I seen but thought another loan would have been better. ??‍♂️.

GivetheGuyaChance - we had an option to buy of around £2.5m, with £1m being paid as part of the loan fee already.

During the transfer window Feyenoord were working on a deal with another player that for some reason meant they would have needed to recall Kasa - not sure on the technicalities behind this.

Anyway, that deal fell through, so Kasa is still on loan, however as part of the negotiations to return Kasa early we negotiated a reduction in his option to buy that Feyenoord are honouring - so he would only cost us a further £800k.

Which is good business for a Dutch under 21 international.

Long story short, i understand NK and PC were keen to make this happen and the deal is in place - however I'm not sure if the new DoSO could over rule it?

If we are going for Scottish based journeymen that were listed last night, then he could be let go, which is BIG mistake imo!

12 Apr 2025 11:00:39
The little we saw the boy looked very good and we should definitely sign him.

12 Apr 2025 11:03:43
Option to buy, loan fee plus a million with small sell on.

12 Apr 2025 11:12:34
No brainer for me. He'll go onto big things in a couple of years imo. Looks to be a top prospect and I'm shocked we managed to get him in the first place.

12 Apr 2025 11:53:01
He's had more than half a dozens injuries and missed around 70 games, but I'm wanting him signed, but we don't want a Peterborough wide player that has only had one injury.

12 Apr 2025 12:52:22
Surely people are entitled to an opinion? Mine is sign neither.

12 Apr 2025 13:13:15
Yes John, but not signing any player with only one injury then the transfer windows would be as well being shut mate, because their wouldn't be any transfer and players would only change clubs once out of contact.

12 Apr 2025 13:29:09
Depends on type of injury.
Muscle pulls r a no no for me
Try jack roofe sterling ridvan Lawrence.

12 Apr 2025 13:37:48
Could we not get Kasanwirjo plus cash from Feyenoord for Propper. I read a rumour that they might be interested if they sell their current centre back . Sounds like a good deal for everybody.

12 Apr 2025 13:51:55
Definitely take him. As ehl said 1.8 for a Dutch under 21 internationalist.

12 apr 2025 13:54:01
star, using " we" to try to influence people is foolish

this is a fans forum rumours site, not the boardroom

you decide whether you want a player, others will decide they're own choices,

i don't get this " we business at all,

12 Apr 2025 14:40:04
Obviously Tom fs man, you think i don't know that like? what I'm saying if clubs don't sign players that only had one injury the transfer market is then a waste of time okay?.

12 Apr 2025 14:44:14
I agree with John on Poku.

For a pacey winger to require major surgery on a hamstring is a red flag.

Regardless, he rejected us before his injury, so can't see us being on his radar.

12 Apr 2025 15:33:51
But no problem with Kasanwirjo three knee injuries EHL, that would be more of a concern to me mate.

12 Apr 2025 16:57:47
Joint injuries and muscle injuries are viewed very differently My Star.

Hamstring injuries are now regarded as one of the worst injuries in football.

12 Apr 2025 17:28:07
Ehl hamstring cot my boy his career in England.

12 Apr 2025 17:30:51
EHL, I know that very well mate but Kasanwirjo has missed 72 games only because of knee injuries.

12 Apr 2025 18:02:40
I'm aware MyStar.

Doesn't change my opinion that the signing of Poku would be high risk and I e I'd avoid.

You obviously disagree, which I have no issues with.

12 Apr 2025 18:34:49
Signing Kasanwirjo high risk as well mate, but personally I'm taking the chance on him, can't even mind if I've seen Poku play and we know hamstrings is a nightmare but he can't get wrote off after one is all I'm saying.
