Few thoughts on yesterday's game.
It wasn't pretty but Barry got the job done which should be commended, I agree that we would have lost that game under Clement.
Danilo gets a lot of unfair criticism but he came on and changed the game yesterday. We've been incredibly unfortunate with his injuries but for me, he's our most natural striker. His link up play and movement was important yesterday.
Lastly, that's a few times I have watched Dundee this season and been impressed with Adewumi.

I had the pleasure of reviewing Danilo performance yesterday - he had a major part in the last three goals and his intelligence caused them no end of issues.
Glad to see someone calling his performance out.

I thought Tavernier was atrocious in his distribution and defending yesterday. I will reiterate it again, thanks for your service Tav but surely to god this must and has to be his last season.
We were very lucky to only concede 3 yesterday too, that's an incredible amount of games recently that we have conceded 2 goals. Huge rebuild again in the summer and lots to work on defensively.
As much as Dessers gets pelters, he deserves his place in the starting lineup and I hope that he has his place in the squad next season. However, if we get an offer to re-coup what we paid for him then I think he will be off.

Iga and Dessers are two similar and make us very predictable to defend against.

Danilo only gets stick from most because of his time out with injuries, I really like him good footballer.

I agree mystar but really has to start delivering soon he's nowhere near the level of 6million we invested at the moment looked great before the chee fracture or whatever it was but still to recapture how he played back then.

2nd leg against fener was crying out for danillo, when we couldn't get out our own half, his hold up and link up play is outstanding when he's on form, would love to see him fit for a good spell.

That's probably true Strom.
The counter argument to that is that teams that line up with a Danilo type forward, typically score more goals - small snapshot of that yesterday.
They are also typically far better on the press, which in turn helps takes pressure off the defense.

Not sure why you think that storm he's scored 7 in 860 minutes compared to dessers 23 in 2760 so if he continued to do that for a full season he would be well over 20 mate. That's him playing we cameos here and there and always struggling for match sharpness. I know it's a big ask but if he can be kept fit he brings something none of our strikers have. We need to also remember his biggest injury he got was for being brave, not just simply breaking down. That game changed when he came on yesterday.

Problem is out of igamane, dessers whom will be at Rangers next season even danilo who has hardly played then we got raskin and Hagi will either or both be with us next season proper surely we will try to move hom on.

If Danilo were to stay fit and injury free, playing consistently, I actually think he could score 20 goals in a season.
His movement and positions he takes up is unlike any other striker we have. He's something different to what defenders usually come up against in Dessers and Igamane. I always think when he's on the pitch with look more of a threat. he's deceivingly quick and has good link up play.

Iga has a much better ability to link up the play and needs to start and dessers goal return is impressive but I'd like to see danilo and iga together for a run of games.

Danilo, unfortunately falls into the same bracket as Roofe, Jack, Sterling etc.
Good players but can't be relied on due to constant injury issues.
Dessers, for all his failings, is very rarely injured and has scored 20+ in 2 consecutive seasons.

Two up top is the way forward EHL, its been long overdue and as you say its important who the two are and you're right its Danilo and either Igamane or Dessers.

Tavernier got caught out a couple of times as he was pushing forward trying to get us back in the game. He created the first, scored the second and his long ball set up the winner, he also set up Dessers twice for chances he should have done better with so let's blame him!
What about Yilmaz who put every cross into the crowd and every pass to a dark blue jersey or Diomande who spent the whole game game falling on his ass and pleading for fouls. These guys were absolutely woeful again.
