Hi Folks, hope all of you and your families are safe and well.
Ive kept my powder dry since the QP game. I can see/ understand both sides of the sack PC/ keep PC debates.
I honestly don't know where I sit on this one.
On one hand I think we need to see the business plan through to the end to make us self sustainable. In those circumstances, is PC the best man for the job? If not, who would be better?
On the other hand, is he getting the most out of what he has? I don't think he is. Away form is shocking, nothing to play for domestically by mid Feb is criminal.
However, I think the players are getting off lighter than they should. Does anyone think the team PC picked was NOT GOOD ENOUGH to beat QP?
I also get the argument PC sets them up, sets tactics etc but come on, these are international players for the most part. Its a severe lack of heart, courage, professional pride and application.
As I said, I'm stuck between the two outcomes.
Anyway, remember, as hard as it is to take, its only a game of football, people have terminal illness, mental health issues, are sleeping in doorways etc. Stay safe and healthy.

Well said athole, no really heard many say much about the players, why i will never know. Defeats happen, but defeats of that manner don't and when they do the manager and the players need to take responsibility Surely.

those players were atricious but it's clement who is abused, i want no connection to the loudmouths who embarrass our club and abuse the manager.

Superb post athole ?clement has to crack the code on how to set up and play to beat the teams who sit in and play the low block ? We're fine when the opposition have more of the ball and we become the counter attacking team with much more space to play ?Some of clement's tactics, team selections and subs are pretty baffling at times, but he's not a bad manager imo ? I honestly think our board are in the current mindset to give him time and why give our new assistant charai, a 3 and a half year deal if that's not behind the thinking ? Either that and i've said this before, if it did come to the point our board decided to get rid of clement, is the current assistant charai the option to go in as his replacement, as their forward thinking succession plan ?i honestly wouldn't rule that out.

PC's tactics were abysmal for a home tie against a lower league team, if he can't learn to adapt to the situation then I'll have no sympathy for him when he's sacked.

Players are to blame aswell but if the players don't play for him, most who signed for NK, PC then has he lost trust, respect for PC. Can't sack all the players. Weather that's the case or not the its manager who bites the bullet. Year and half into has plan and we are worse off then before the masterplan came into place, facts and stats are there too see, statistically he is up there with 1 of the worse managers we've had, we have only regression under this manager.

The players have been letting down the fans for the last few years but it's the manager who loses his job ask gio or mb unfortunately the guy in charge seems unable to get the most out of the players many signed under his watch so he. ll ultimately pay by losing his job. I don't see how pc can get fans on side.

Dado, I just do not get that about his tactics, (but folk wanting him out the door will see things i dont) many saves did the qp's keeper make? Kelly never had one, many chances did Rangers create in that game? but it's all about his tactics when it had nothing to do with his tactics it was players not putting them away.
Or his subs but in my eyes he did the correct thing with his subs, Rice was poor the opening 45 off for Raskin and Bajrami was also poor the opening 45 off for Dessers and Igamane as our ten, Hagi was worse than poor and off for Yilmaz, but this is all Clement fault when I hold the players more responsible.

Good post and I haven't seen anyone say the players have no blame obviously the players are at fault but so is PC tactics and the buck always stops at the manager. He has to go I am afraid.

Kingand - Sorry but we cannot spend the cash that Gerrard and the rest have spent - surely its obvious we need to sort wage structure and that will mean a bit of hurt - I see some good players in our team it just needs a few with steel and grit and who know what club is about to help sway the tide -most of all we need a REAL captain on the park who can organise - get that and I feel we will be a better team all round.

Diomande two big chances, Dessers big chance, I'd say Tavernier's penalty was a big chance, probably missed a big chance out, our keeper never made 1 save but the qp's keeper saved around ten but it was all down to our manager tactics eh lol.

We had plenty of shots from distance which is exactly what Queen's Park were hoping for, we played right into their hands. We can't be playing 1 up top against teams like this at home, that's why his tactics are brutal and will cost him his job if he can't adapt.

So now Clement is getting a free pass for dropping points against:-
Hearts, Celtic, Killie, Aberdeen, Dundee Utd, St Mirren, Motherwell, Hibs, Dundee, Queens Park, Celtic ( LC Final ) , Dynamo Kiev ( CL Qualifier ) , Lyon and Man Utd.
But on the other hand, Clement is to get all the kudos for:-
Beating Celtic, Malmo, FCSB, Olympiacos, Nice, Spurs and USG.
Every bad result is the players fault.
Every good result is down to the manager.

We created virtually nothing, we had shots from around the edge of the box .
Dessers got through their defence late on and missed a half decent chance .
The game was a bore fest , we were absolutely awful.

My star the diamande chances were pretty difficult ones
We never played through them that's the thing, half chances and shots from around the edge of the box it was a terrible performance. This was a bang average championship side we should be winning comfortably.
I'm sorry I cannot accept the excuses being made for the manager for me he has failed to grasp the requirements of Scottish football.
No one wanted him to fail we are all Rangers fans, it's just not working .
