Here's a very good extremely talented coach that imo would be ideal for us if clement is unable to turn things around, former hamilton accies manager wee billy reid ? Exactly the type of manager/ head coach we'd need in the direction we're undertaking ? He's superb at bringing through youth and is a very good, sound tactical coach, who knows the game inside out, not to mention the massive experience he has gained and worked in scandanavia ? What's our thoughts on wee billy reid fellow bears ? Not to mention he's also built up terrific contacts throughout the game ?Asa he's worked in scandanavia pal and been successful ?.

Just joined West Ham.

SWS I would say most of the credit for there time in Sweden goes to Graham Potter.
I don't know much about Billy other than being a well respected assistant.
12 Jan 2025 10:41:01
I think he’s back at Westham with Potter, not saying he wouldn’t leave that SWS just that he was appointed a few days ago.

Current first team coach West Ham - cannot see rangers going down this road - maybe if his name was Pep Reid and had managed in Bundesliga or similar then maybe - you know what I mean I think we will look for a bigger name and with him being 61 that may also go against him - agree he would get us organised and may actually get better results than PC is currently - we are not that far off issue currently is defence feel middle to front we can be very good but until we get some physicality and ball winning CB’s we will always be at risk of dropping points in games we should be winning ??????.

Always liked billy.

What's more experienced shall i say rangers supporters ie. like John, TT12,The Seeker, Doiger, Sunshine, My star, Ger88 and sorry for any i've missed out here, think of the idea of billy reid as a rangers manager/ head coach if clememt doesn't last?Asa almost forgot yourself pal ? I truly think he ticks every box and most definitely knows what our club is all about ???I look forward to the replies and debate on wee billy reid possibly future rangers manager ?.

He's not a no1 maybe as part of a setup and he's joined Potter at West ham.
12 Jan 2025 11:08:06
Did some good work with Graham Potter. Well quoted I hear, coops ?.
12 Jan 2025 11:09:13
Hahaha you've just invalidated all future opinions with that shout. I've heard it all now.
12 Jan 2025 11:22:06
He has just moved to West Ham with Graham Potter. but in case you didn't hear yesterday the new CEO announced that we are sticking with Clement for now.
12 Jan 2025 11:50:18
We have a manager Walter.
12 Jan 2025 12:07:05
We have a manager in Phillip unitl he's not here its pointless debate.
12 Jan 2025 12:21:30
He also spoke of succession planing, so discussing possible future manager. Since Hamilton I'm sure he's always been an assistant. Well regarded but think that's probably where he's best suited. He's more an archie knox than a sir walter in my opinion.
12 Jan 2025 12:34:24
Guys i do know he's just went to west ham with graham potter ?I do know we have a manager John and although i don't think he'll be here next season, i'll give my backing like i always do until such times ?I was only asking for an opinion regarding billy reid ?.
12 Jan 2025 12:54:52
so since we are succession planning who do people think should be our next head of Academy? Important role in the club and as we don't get kids through into first team as they aren't good enough surely the same relevant type of discussion. Anyone have any thoughts on Gareth Henderby once of right to dream academy?
sorry sarcasm is my go to.

I’ve worked with Billy, massive bluenose and a cracking coach but he’s not leaving West Ham or the partnership with Potter for Rangers.
12 Jan 2025 13:21:09
Kaiser, the late great walter smith was an assistant twice before becoming our manager mate ? Just saying pal.
12 Jan 2025 14:43:51
the late great SWS also has the same points per game record as our current manager. also the same win percentage this season to the great man. Not comparing them as managers but their two sets of stats bear similarities. I know SWS had many more games but amongst that there would be many more against the teams we should always be beating and there was more money to spend.
but we continue to focus on a bad away record this season.

That's true SirW just don't see it with Billy. Doesn't often translate that way unlike our own Sir Walter.

ive known billy a long time, loves the gers.
