Seems u like to do this with quite a few posters btw I’ve noticed over last year or so.
Anyway, if as I said Johnny Evans wouldn’t be the best CB in Scotland, then give me a list of who is better than him or n any order?
If it’s so absurd then obviously it’s not only one player… likely u will say CCV that’s fine can see that as an opinion but give me a list as to how it’s so absurd a post?

Stevie does Evans injury record not put you off? He's a good player but I don't see the send signing a mid30 year old to cover for another mid30 year old. Guarantee his fitness a diff story but no1 can.

Can’t guarantee anyone’s fitness bro n a wasn’t aware evans had a so-called injury problem? I know he’s had injuries but he recently played a long successful stint at Leicester and he’s been available for utd has he not?
I’d only be playing him 1 game a week. I think he’s a solid signing mate. Al tell h this see if Celtic get an injury before window shots they’ll be in for him.

stevie, all i know of ccv is this, a few weeks ago i had a few pals over, two are big celtic people, i thought ccv must be decent, they bith laughed and said “ he is woeful “ both of them couldn't believe he had git into some team of the week, apparently most celtic fans think he's awful.

That’s a fair assessment Tom if coming from people who watch him play regular which of course I don’t and most on here likely don’t, perhaps I’ve been dragged into the hype I read and hear as he’s valued at £20m by them.
Either way mate he’s still one of the best in this country and for me, balogun is best on ability but always injured so I take that into consideration when I say evans would be the best ch in the country, by some distance I believe.

oh come on CCV is a very good CH and the fact that fans don't see that doesn't mean he isn't. He is probably the most consistent and best CH in the league at the moment and for quite a while now. If we were talking CCV rather than Evans or Porteous I would take him. I know this will upset some but you can see a good player whatever jersey they play in. How about VVD at Liverpool? not as a signing but as a good player.

He isn't good enough, maybe back in his day he would have been but not now. For one many teams we play like to hit us on the break and Evans definitely doesn't have the pace to cover. Not exactly a big dominant CH either.
Stevie pal that's your opinion but you are basically doing what you accused Storm of, folk don't agree with your opinion and we are all wrong.
Spot on Angus, CCV is a good CH and best in our league but not by much. Jersey colour and team make no difference to whether a player is good or not.

Sorry TT I don’t know what Celtic fans u have been speaking to but CCV is rated highly by every Celtic fan I know. They nearly lost the league when he was out injured last season. You would have to be very silly to think he wasn’t a good player. The sooner he leaves the better.

BbJ again, he lander has less pace than evans. Davie weir? Many more, positional sense makes uk for lack of pace.
We don’t have any Cb’s with pace atm anyway so won’t make much a difference if evans has none.
It’s about experience and quality and he brings both.
M not saying everyone is wrong cause most pribabaly want evans, I’m also not saying the ones who don’t are wrong, I think they are. But I never said that bro as u say it’s about opinions.

Balogun has pace Stevie n plenty of it mate, I get u like Evans for me he's like Tav, was a gd solid reliable player, but age waits for no man bud. He may do a job, I don't know, that's up to management?.

I don't think it is about whether he is good enough but whether he can play in this league. Joey Barton, Robbie Keane and Roy Keane being examples of better than decent players who didn't set the heather alight at a late stage in their careers.
BTW Stevie you would know yourself I hope. In Storms defence I think he is a bit of a pantomime character int hat he knows he is doing it but still continues. I have had many a 'discussion' with him and rarely take anything serious about the way he chats apart from the one time. His attitude at times aside he plays a good par tin the discussions on this forum. Now away to see my Doctor as I can't believe I said that in his defence ?.
