PC quoted as saying Bailey Rice will make a full evolution to become a first-team player at Rangers this week. I'd be all for him stepping in to the squad and getting game time at the no6 to fill in for Raskin. A very different player, but one I'd love to see get the chance to develop.

At one stage at motherwell bailey rice was actually more highly rated than lennon miller and that's from a motherwell youth coach i know very well ?.

I thought he trained and was part of the first team squad?

He didn`t play for the B Team yesterday so that might be a sign he`s in the squad especially with McKinnon away.

Coops that’s 100% fact and part of the national set up very early and viewed as captain material due to not only his ability but the respect from his peers.

That would be great if it happens. Hopefully Lovelace can do the same.

I think what the op is meaning and what PC means is it’s now halfway line in season when he wanted players to step up, igamane, nsiala, and maybe rice is another who will now be considered 1st team players proper. Igamane is ahead of schedule and maybe nsiala is a wee bit behind? Nothing wrong with h at it works both ways. I’d say at his age rice is probably where he should be in his road to rangers 11 player.

At what stage was that, u12’s and in what way is it relevant.
Lennon Miller has blossomed into a great player Bailey hasn’t, happens all the time with youngsters.

I've been talking about Bailey Rice for years. Both he and Miller (from a Motherwell youth coach I know well) were highly thought of as wee boys but Rice's physicality got him more attention. By the age of 16 Motherwell were very excited by both of them and had offers from all over, especially for Rice, who decided to come to Rangers. This left a gap for Miller to progress to the first team and he now is two years of first league senior football ahead of Rice. However, I believe that by the time they are about 21 both will be international players.

That is true coops but the tables have turned now and doesn’t mean rice will progress rangers tried to buy both at the same time. Maybe you should ask the mwell coach you know if you think Lennon will ever sign for rangers.

Bailey and Lennon are completely different characters and players. They compliment each other so well on the park and are outstanding as a pairing more so than individually. I would love to see them together in a Rangers jersey.

Scotty, it might be a tight squeeze getting them into the same Rangers jersey!
