If the stories last night are true and villarreal want to sign vaclav cerny this month from wolfsburg, i assume we'd need to be compensated for the second half of the season, as our agreement with wolfsburg, was to have cerny on loan with us until may 31st 2025?Is this correct, does anyone know ?It will be a big blow if we lose cerny, halfway through the season, he's been superb for us ?.

I imagine there would be a small compensation due, only the remaining 5 months of the loan arrangement remaining.
Would be pretty unusual tho, can’t really remember many loans being cut short for a transfer, even when guys are flying?

Do you know how much Villareal wants to pay Wolfsburg for Cerny, SWS? He is our best performer this season, and I would not mind us trying to match the offer.
He was harshly judged for the miss against Lyon, but other than that, he was excellent for us.

zikos storm is right and the reason Liverpool are rejecting them is due to the Palace and one other wanting to buy him. they didn't want to sell.
The rumour is from an obscure transferfeed site who also reported that Wolfsburg would need to extend his loan in January to stay with us when he is here for a seasons loan.

Hi Sir Walter I won't name names but as John has concurred the Lyon game and several games prior a few of our supporter were negative in there appraisal of VC but I felt he was on a different level to a few of him team mates at the time.

what if people did want rid, because that's what fans do they want rid if players they don't think are good enough ir trying hard enough, and then when a player improves, or tries harder they don't want rid,
a bit like anything else really, btw, only some wanted rid, some didnt,
so the point can be turned in its head for players who start off great and fade, no difference is there, have you ever done that?

correct storm. he was too slow, turned inside all the time and if there weren't shouts to get rid then it was not to buy him from Wolfsburg.
People can change their mind but it just shows that time is needed for players to show their best.
