Had to re register, long time reader and occasional poster. Interesting read from Davie Moyes stating he wants back in and not with a team fighting relegation. I'm putting 2 + 2 and getting 5 I know but, British / Scottish so knows the demands of the rough and tumble league. Apart from Man U been a massive success everywhere else. don't care if he was at Celtic, comes from a massive rangers family seemingly. Thoughts?
{Ed001's Note - Sunderland he failed. Sociedad he was a miserable failure too. Not sure he was a 'massive success' at Everton either. 5th biggest wage bill and 5th highest transfer spend to finish an average of 6th.}

Not sure how being an ex celtic player would go down though. he's a good manager tho his football as often bit boring. Were any of those teams any better after he left? Reckon toffees would be happy with an average 6th place again. West Ham dropped after he left both times. Man U have been a basket case since Fergi left and never backed Moyes. Downhill ever since. Sunderland also badly run and been no better since he left so no idea if he was problem or not. At least he'd have experience of being at a badly run club.

aye ed001 your probably right in some of your assessment on moyes but in my opinion i think he would do a good job with us, he had west ham playing well, won a euro cup, finishing an average of sixth in the premier league is not that bad an achievement, at utd he got shafted.

Storm not a chance does Clement plan to play the way Moyes does, his football is worse than boring and even worse than gvb the man you wanted sacked, I did say he could be a success but wouldn't be happy watching the football we'd be playing.

Every dog has its day Mystar. It needs to be done over 15 to 20 games not one game were the players clearly raised their game.

You can't live off one game and claim what you say is correct. Its like there a want with you. Our football is garbage, we struggle most games. The players we have signed are not good enough, with the exception of Igamane. 14 points behind and you're on here trying to prove your right because we drew with Spurs. I'm on the same page as John Brown, I could think of a few more words than staggering for the stuff you write.
Anyway Happy new year to all, hope 2025 is a good one for all.
