Who actually encourages the players to go and clap the fans all the time? Is this driven by that fraud of a manager? Every time I see them do this I just think ‘you guys a clueless and you just don’t get what it means to wear the jersey’.
Was this the first time a team was boo’d on to the park?
I think the only way PC can keep his job to Thursday will be to sack the full sport science team first thing tomorrow? Somebody needs to be sacked.

James Tavernier was confronted by fans who verbally abused him in the car park after a game. They told him not to leave the pitch, but to stay on and applaud the fans. They said that ‘big Colak gets it more than you’. So Tavernier stays in the pitch and gets fan abuse from the stands instead now. And even then, fans don’t like that. He can’t do anything right in the eyes of the fans.

We are now witnessing the worst Rangers team since Warburton's team came up to the top league! We now have a manager with the worst record against our biggest rivals in 100 years! We have our worst away record in decades! 14 points behind in the league and it's not even January! Lost a cup final, and dropped 5 points from six in the space of 2 weeks!
Where's this progress some on here spout about? If this is "progress, I'd hate to see what we'd be like if we started to regress!

Ssfc the progress people talked about is because we went from dreadful to looking OK for 4 or 5 games and they seemed to have turned a corner. Unfortunately it was very short lived and we are back to being dreadful. What I don't understand is why PC doesn't seem to learn. He left players out of the starting 11 v stmirren and had to change it at half time because we were awful.
He then repeats that against Motherwell. I also don't get why the intensity we showed to get back to 2-2 today suddenly dropped off as soon as it was level. We started the side to side passing and all the urgency was gone. I can't remember the last time I watched a rangers team this poor. Dado I do think the players should always applaud the support as they spend a lot to travel to away games and if they walked off without doing so they would get it in the neck for doing so.

It’s not the clapping of the fans that’s the problem.
Celtic do it on a regular basis but they usually win therefore nobody complain’s.
It’s the team selection’s, performances especially first half and results especially in the last 2 matches that should cause the most concern.

Can’t be clapping a draw with Motherwell guys for Christ sake. I could accept if they were apologising to yet another dreadful performance but clapping is an absolute insult to the travelling fans.

SS you are right PC must go it’s embarrassing one win away from home 5 defeats the rest draws. We need to get rid of this guy before it gets any worse if that is possible. Another two windows some fans want to give him I want him away before the Jan window.

I get that Jfm, but it wasn't true progress it was just us playing better in a few games.
If it was true progress, as MPH explained in his really well written post, it would be us beating the tims, retaining the cup and cutting their lead at the top in the league.
Beating teams we're meant to beat in the league, who spend a tiny fraction on what we do on players, isn't really progress. All that is, is us doing the job we're meant to be doing.
If beating kilmarnock, r county, Dundee, and getting beat on penalties in a cup final is progress, then God help us, because we must be in a worse state than what we think we are.

we havnt had real quality since we cane back up, ee git very lucky in 55 season, ( celtic just stopped playing fir lennon and empty grounds had a massive effect)
since then we have spent big money on players who arent, and neve4 will be champions, danillos effort at a header tiday was nothing short of pathetic, and he will never ever lead rangers to a title, neither will any other player there now with possible exceptions of soutter and cerny, i'm brought up watching rangers players, and we currently have almost none that deserve to wear the shirt

right now we need a ch and a scorer to get us through this season and into europe for next season, clement can't change this now with these players, way too many simply aren't winners, it needs a new broom, and starting with a defence that can defend and a guy who can score easy chances, danillo and dessers ain't them and hamzas people will already be looking at the epl imo.

When we started to play better for a few games as sunshine puts it, I thought maybe we were turning a corner so decided to stop being so negative towards PC but I should have stuck to my gut instinct I’ve never liked him from day one. He has no clue about our league, he's just not getting it. He has to go before he does even more damage. I’m sick of listening to him now. Get rid of him he’s hopeless.

A manager that’s contradicts everything he says
He stroke players threw it away last season after Ross county game had a pre season and yet we are still miles off it with fitness.
Blamed Beale for a lot of fitness issues but we are still the same. Yes slashed the wage bill that we over pay players in the first place so our on fault not just Phil’s
But we are regressing faster than a shot of whiskey

Sunshine your right in what you say I remember at that time some on here were saying on the back of beating Ross County and Kilmarnock that we had turned a corner and Raskin was looking like the best midfielder in the country and Diomande now looking a player and we were still a fair bit behind in the league, it was a false dawn and unfortunately a lot of the fans that’s progress as we have been pretty mediocre before and after that.

Ssfc I don't disagree with you tgat we are not making true progress. Just replied to your question about the posters who said previously we were progressing. I don't remember any of them saying or using the phrase true progress. You even said yourself at one point you could see the progression. In fact somebody, can't remember who welcomed you to the happy clapper club.
Dado it is obviously a bug bear with you but the players applauding the people who have travelled to support them is the very least of our problems. They would get pelters if they didn't and they get pelters if they do. No win situation.

This has to be one of, or, the worst Rangers Teams I've seen in my over 6 decades following us, can't do it now, as I am not as mobile as I was then, and PC is just as bad as Pedro was. Just frustrates me JFM, has done from the draw last year when the players ended up doing a lap of honour. The question was more who has forced the players to do this as with the draw against Celtic PC clearly felt this was a great result which merited the clapping and lap of honour, it’s still a sign of how much our standards have dropped. I genuinely think some of our first team felt this was a good result.
