Not going to be a popular post here fellow Bears, but we've all seen Nottingham Forest's meteoric rise recently - Chief Football Officer, our very own Ross Wilson.
I know, I know, most of us wanted the guy out of Ibrox, myself included.

Jim he spent £105M in the summer. even I could pick a couple of good ones out of that. they are doing well granted but manager did well at Wolves if memory serves me right.

So has Ross Wilson taken over managing the Forest team? I would have thought that the manager would take the credit for reaching 4th or are we giving him credit for winning Title 55 or reaching the Europa Final?

Angus that isn’t a lot of money in epl standards and Notts forest are doing ridiculous well this season that no one would have thought so Wilson must be doing an ok job.

I don't think Ross Wilson is the reason Forest are doing well, nice try taking credit for him? maybe the fact that they have spent near £250-£300mil since they got back to the prem might have something to do with it.

He’s done an outstanding job. Although I have always rated the manager. Another who was harshly treated at spurs. Great coach.

Wsl Wilson selects the players for forest and the manager fits them together in the style determined by Wilson as instructed by the owner.
Great post saying he spent millions, he did that at rangers as welll just did not sign many who were good enough
He tried to get veerman doehki Tillman Simon’s, the board could not find the money.

Wilson has the financial backing at Notts Forest to bring in his No1 transfer targets, and as John mentioned we didn’t have the money to do likewise when he was at Ibrox.
Fair play to Wilson you need to have the know how to identify players.

John, Wilson picks the players? So Nuno is only a coach he doesn`t have any say in the players, I can`t see that as being true . If it is then Wilson did a really crap job at Rangers because the players HE picked were so bad that the managers couldn`t make a decent team out of them. Two of the managers that he picked.
Not true to say the board couldn`t find the money for Tillman, Bayern reneged on our deal and it turned out to be one of Wilsons better ones . £2.5 million we got for a player that was never actually ours. We were never getting Veerman and Simons and Doekhi opted to go elsewhere.
