Another thing I want to point out I don't want to sound to negative but big robin propper isn't the standard rangers require I honestly wholeheartedly would put in Leon King or try the boy Nsiala there a lot faster can rad tackles better and pass better IMO than propper then we could play a bit higher up the park and not need to watch someone as slow as my gran trying to run back and defend, also seen him trying to judge a few tackle and your seeing him completely miss tackle the ball honest I recon he's trying his best but it's just not good enough we need a young hungry athlete that's at it week in week out. Leon king for me is that young hungry man.

Agree2 Disagree0

Putting king into CB would be madness in my opinion so far away from a rangers CB doubt he ever will be ??????.

22 Dec 2024 23:53:09
Do not agree with any part of your comment, king is not the answer.

23 Dec 2024 01:00:25
Actually think Popper has played alright last few games, not saying he’s the answer but King isn’t either.

23 Dec 2024 01:18:45
King likely won’t play for rangers first team again imo. Nowhere near good enough. Ano he’s made bench but that’s a numbers game. For me nsiala is a better player and Ehl says he’s not nearly there yet.
King will be off in the summer if n it before.

23 Dec 2024 01:38:45
King is not the answer unless the question is “ name a young player who has had more chances and failed “.

23 Dec 2024 03:23:43
I felt King was thrown under the bus by Rangers who played him in all six games of a disastrous Champions League campaign. The young lad was expected to go from youth academy level, to playing the cream of Europe? His confidence was destroyed, the EPL scouts who came to see him turned away, and the fans wrote him off.

Young Leon King, who was once described as a "generational talent". Just another example of Rangers inability to develop youth players.

King needs to get out of Rangers and just go play football. Go to another SPFL team, play as a regular CB, and grow in to the mans game. In a few years he could fulfil his promise. I don't believe that will happen at Rangers.

Lisbonbill - shameful comment there - imho the boy has not let us down by any means - more the opposite?.

23 dec 2024 06:20:28
what team is it you support btw, , surely you should be truthful, you certainly hate rangers a helluva lot.

23 Dec 2024 07:19:27
Propper played well his last few games, just hope we can get Ballard him and Souttar would be outstanding cb's for Rangers.

23 Dec 2024 08:12:36
I agree with you clementhasnoformation the wee guy was chucked under the bus in some big games … I’m sure most of yous said the same about Hagi look what happened there give him a chance beside big souttar and I bet we see better things defensively. What yous see in that big slow-coach is baffling.

23 Dec 2024 08:22:34
Agree with BF boy was thrown to the wolves based on the Liverpool result.

23 Dec 2024 08:26:25
Agreeing with a Tim Gengus, speaks with a fork tongue bud.

23 Dec 2024 08:34:49
he was played as that is all we had available.

23 Dec 2024 08:42:36
I agree guys, a very suspicious character indeed who hasn't got a good word to say about the rangers ?.

23 Dec 2024 08:51:05
We have plenty of young hungry athletes in our academy - unfortunately none of them will be 'at it week in week out'.

Also, it's fair to criticise Proper for his pace, however if you think King or Nsiala have anywhere near his passing ability then you'll be sadly disappointed.

23 Dec 2024 08:59:19
Very surprised loen king is still with rangers.

23 Dec 2024 09:02:37
My star, I thought at the time Propper was a excellent signing. For some reason he's taken a while to settle, but seems to be turning into the player we thought he would be.

23 Dec 2024 09:06:48
A few suspicious characters popping up and agreeing with each other.

23 Dec 2024 09:53:07
I think it is a bit like Propper, we play the best available to us at that time. think Proper has been playing better recently and it might be that settling in to a new team/ country. Unfortunately for King he had to play against top level CL opposition and next to another lad who wasnt a CH. He always looked half decent in the short cameos he had before that but it obviously affected his confidence. I am sure the club worked with him after that but he still not considered to be the best we have available. will he ever become that then I would suggest no. However players like McCrorie have gone and are playing at a decent level and are probably happy there. That is what I hope will happen with King as I would with every player who has been at Rangers.
If Rice isn't to that standard for whatever reason then the same applies i'm afraid harsh as that may sound. would he have progressed to play for Motherwell first team is actually a different question as he may have but the requirements of both clubs are different, as EHL says speed and tempo of play; we have much more of the ball etc. It doesn't mean either are bad players just that they aren't fitting into us. I would say the same for Raskin to Liverpool as well so the issue is football wide, i. e. not everyone could play at every club.

23 Dec 2024 10:21:12
Yup??.

23 Dec 2024 10:28:33
Leon King played because we needed him. The numbers game. He suffered but did his best. We played him once I think at RB. Thought the boy did very well. I think the boy will be offloaded and hopefully finds his feet. As for Proper. Taken time to settle and now seeing him improving every game.
