Right, 2 points gained on the tims, and sitting 2nd in the league after overtaking the sheep. This has been a good weekend!

So, here's my question? Am I allowed to reevaluate my opinion that the league is gone when we beat them on the 2nd? ? And if I can, can I ask that you take pity on me and resist the need to call me a clueless fool? ?

There is still a long way to go, and nothing can be taken for granted, but 3 points on the 2nd and the pressure is on. To go from 11 points behind, to the possibility of only being 6 in the space of a couple of weeks, would be massive. Can we dream?

Before we can start dreaming, and before we play them at home, we have 2 tricky away games to navigate, while they have 2 comfortable looking home games, so it's going to take a big effort.

So, I'm not asking much over Xmas and New Year, just 9 points from our next 3 games, and I'll be one happy glory hunter! ?.

Good post, SS. We never throw in the towel.

22 Dec 2024 14:36:13
Not at all ya clueless fool? kidding aside bud, it will be hard and hopefully others do a bit of damage, it's always possible and you are allowed to reassess, I'd like to think it's time we done them, hope it's on the second. It's not beyond reason bud???.

Welcome to the Happy Clappers Sunshine - we welcome all!

22 Dec 2024 14:42:06
Life comes at us all fast, Sunshine.
One minute we are all greeting that Clement should go after dropping points to Dundee Utd.
The next we are all celebrating the fact the gap is down to 9 after Celtic drop points to Dundee Utd!
Personally I’d be happy if the team / manager continue on this path of improvement on a game by game basis.
But 6 points of a gap brings it into focus that we might just be back in it. ?⚪️?.

ive saud fir a week, win next game and the game is afoot, they will feel the heat, they know hiw lucky they got at hampden, i believe we will win at ibrox and chase them down

a word on the chof character, this guy is verdant abyss, and he ain't no bluenose,
the only person ever on here to repeat other peoples words, before bringing them diwn, he has now introduced “ administration” into his text, my advice is ignore, i remember one o4 two defending him originally, his whole vocabulary is designed to cause concern and he is obsessed with rangers finances, which i believe are very well managed atm myself.

22 Dec 2024 14:54:59
We never surrender!

22 Dec 2024 15:00:08
At the moment Tim's not playing well we just need to keep winning. said already we need another striker at least but beating them on 2nd gives us hope.

22 Dec 2024 15:06:44
TBH, I'd given up on the league, but as Tom has posted a win on the 2nd will put pressure on them. Here's hoping we can keep winning.

22 Dec 2024 15:09:07
Sunshine, 4 out next 5 games is away from home with old firm sandwiched in between. Ill dream if we manage to win 5 of them. And a good january window ?.

22 Dec 2024 15:09:22
Tom 100% correct.

22 Dec 2024 15:13:28
It's highly unlikely but it's never over. No surrender.

22 Dec 2024 15:26:38
Yesterday could easily have been 4 or 5 with us not playing particularly well. If this steady improvement continues then there's always hope. As Tom says, they can dress it up as much as they want, but they know they got away with one in the final. They weren't great shakes today thought Dundee utd played well. Onwards lads. Never surrender.

22 Dec 2024 15:26:47
Funny Tom, was thinking of your suspicion when he started the "Quoting carry-on" today. Think you are spot on mate??.

22 dec 2024 15:37:14
always found it difficult to understand how a couple defended a guy whos name was “ green hole”, a mystery but some did, , his habit of reposting other peoples words is that of a very arrogant person, he obviously has an obsession with rangers, an unhealthy one, , anyway, win win win is the on, y way firward,

let me explain my choice of shankland in jan
we will probably lose dessers, we will find it difficult to find an out and out scirer in jan,
haza is not an out n out scorer, nether is danillo, and our midfield score once every new years day imo

we need a scorer on the bench, to see us through or perhaps becone a hero,

shanks brings that and is one of our own in to the bargain, costs very little, no brainer.

22 Dec 2024 15:40:35
SS I would rather you continue to be miserable and unbelieving as it has been part of the winning formula for Rangers at the moment. My worry is that you start thinking we have a chance and that this gets to the players and they start getting over-confident. If we win the league then I am of course happy that you join in the celebrations as a fellow bluenose ??. as EHL says welcome to the happy clappers.

22 Dec 2024 15:41:07
We’d need to win every single game from now til end of season to win the league imo: and I can’t see that.
Nothing wrong with trying tho.

22 Dec 2024 15:52:14
All we can do is focus on winning each game as, it comes, and everything else takes care of itself . we have some momentum but the next 3 games especially will tell us what shape we are in.

22 Dec 2024 16:13:03
Finally living up to that name sunshine, welcome to the positive thinking brigade.

22 Dec 2024 16:23:12
As you say Stevie, nothing at all wrong with trying.

22 Dec 2024 16:25:54
At least we've some hope. Until today I thought we had none.

22 Dec 2024 16:34:44
Win next 3 games and the gap is 6 points or less, and it would be game on, no doubt about that.

22 Dec 2024 17:24:18
How ironic would it be if we got a league and cup double and a last 8-4 europa run from a guy we wanted sacked in October ?.

22 Dec 2024 17:29:34
SS long way to go but we need to keep winning with 2 hard away games coming up and home to them win next 3 and see where we are in Jan.

22 Dec 2024 18:12:29
Stevie not everyone on here wanted clement sacked.

22 Dec 2024 18:46:49
John I will admit I did but I really hope he proves me wrong. TT every post this clown makes is a rant but never from a Rangers fan.

22 Dec 2024 21:06:06
John I’d say about 80-90% wanted him sacked mate. What would u say?

22 Dec 2024 21:46:37
Stevie. i'd say much less but the poll on here said 76%.

22 Dec 2024 21:50:09
also I love football fans about 2-3 weeks ago they wanted him sacked, he was clueless none of our players were worth sixpence and now we are going to chase them down, best Man Utd and reach the last four in EL. an almost exact example of bipolar disorder or cyclothymic disorder (not as extreme as BD) ?.

22 Dec 2024 22:54:53
76% isn’t too far off 80% the. Angus thanks mate .

You’re totally correct btw mate football is a fickle old business lol.

If we lose toCeltic n Motherwell we’ll want him sacked again hahaha.

23 Dec 2024 09:02:32
It is close but I was surprised it was that high as there were always a good number of people on here who continued to support the process.
hopefully we can get results over this period anyway. although I understand Motherwell have a decent young player but can't remember his name as it isn't mentioned that often ?.
