now that the volume has been turned down and the next old firm game beckons in just over 2 weeks, how will we feel if clements record against the other mob reaches #7 and on our own turf at that. yes were playin better but the end product is much the same . we would go 14 points back and lost our trophy . europe seems the only saviour for the guy. do we trust him with our transfer money if we have any that is.

Similar to the game at the weekend, I don't think that the result in next Old Firm game will influence my opinion on PC.
I believe he's the right man to lead the rebuild and I like the direction he's trying to take us.

I agree with EHL and we can see he is starting to make progress in this rebuild. we need to think beyond a couple of games and look to get back long term to beating them regularly.

We will have an OF game at Ibrox in a couple of weeks with the same group of players no matter who is the manager. Would we really be able to find a new manager and get him settled in enough to get any
better results with the resources we have available. Losing at Ibrox to them would be unacceptable whether its Clement or somebody else. We have played well against them everywhere except the piggery.
As for the transfer budget don`t think there will that much to waste but it won`t just be Clement spending it, Koppen will have an input to ensure continuity no matter who is the manager.

He has to build on the weekend’s performance and get the win, if he can’t he needs to think himself if he’s right for the job.
I have to say, I’m actually pretty confident we’ll beat them. We cut them on Sunday (Rocky 4 style for those who are old enough) and I believe the game at Ibrox will be the start of the PC revolution.

Seen enough to see we are going in right direction and starting to play and create chances, Clemont has the job till summer at least in my eyes which is a big turnaround from five weeks ago in which I would of had him out the door.

I totally think that phillipe clement is starting to show improvement in his rebuild and should be given at least another 2 transfer windows, to complete his rebuild, irrespective of the result against them on the 2nd of january and like Dado_Prso i'm also confident we'll beat them on the 2nd of january ??? They're not as good as they think and would have you believe they are and i said this before we played them yesterday ?.

Nothing changes re PC, so long as that same grit and determination is there. We’re on the right road, and on a bigger rebuild than anyone thought.
A few additions to strengthen the first team and depth of the squad and we’ll be closer to where we need to be.
We lost the game but set a new standard on Sunday (for this squad) . Celtic didn’t expect that, and neither did their fans in the media.

Said to my son on the way home on Thursday, all be it in better spirits (more ways than 1).
If we win the cup then he earns himself at least till the end of the season.
I’m still of the opinion after the performance’s over the last few weeks he should be given time at least until the end of the season.
I see enough improvement with performances not to make any rash decisions until then.
It’s performances and improvement between now and then rather than trophies this season that should form any decision for next season.

I did not want us to sack another manager when we were playing terrible. I did not see any kind of turnaround coming at the time.
But we have actually been excellent in recent games playing some really good football.
I still think we have bumps ahead but its given me a lot more hope that Clement is the man.

The Rangers manager needs to beat Celtic - It's that simple. If Clement can't do it he'll need to go.
Some people say we are making progress. Rangers are sitting third in the SPFL, the league is Celtic's, and the last piece of silverware we have to play for is the Scottish Cup. Celtic are now the most successful team in the history of Scottish football. Off the pitch the club is haemorrhaging money again. This is not progress.

I think Clement and Koppen are here for the long term and so we better get used to it. I see the plan working and most of us would agree it is working. So, we have a plan and it is working. Mistakes have been made in the past, even in the recent past and so let Clement and Koppen get us on the right road again. We will not get better than these two.
