Ss I was 1 who wanted PC gone but having seen the turnaround in performances and result since dundee utd iv changed my mind. He's getting more options with hagi, danilo ingaman and raskin is finally injury free we've all demanded a style of play and we can see how ge wants to. play so imo he deserves at least this season and then we can assess how well or not he's done but I can only judge him on results and performances.

Good read SS - I stated few weeks back that i just couldn't see how PC could turn this around, but he has STARTED to. its only a start of shoots of progress.
As you said my Star, all most of us wanted to see was progress. We've started to see that these last few games.
I think he's earned a chance to the end of the season. Then re-assess.

Good article mate. I’m still on the fence just now. Yes we have had an upturn in form but as you say we couldn’t really get much worse. If we don’t beat them tomorrow and lose on the 2nd January PC will have to go. No use having a manager who can’t beat Celtic.

Progress in the way we are now playing, we're now seeing the players signed a few months that many said where poor players but now we're seeing that are not true, few mentioned about paying 2m for an unknown Moroccan boy what are they thinking now? progress with the way our club is moving forward in the boardroom, progress is lowering our wage budget with 6m in one window, probably missed some out, sunshine that progress mate, success never happens instantly like most fans want.

Great post SS pretty much what I have been saying also. The manager must beat Celtic in at least one of the next two games we play them. European results have never been a problem with pc. It’s all good beating at Johnstone and Ross cty as we should be beating them anyway. We also still had the Dundee Utd performance recently which was rank.
I really hope we do it tomorrow.

If we perform Tommorow and perform in the game in January and still lose they games Clement is not getting sacked, your wanted to see progress is the football being played and we're seeing it right now, play like we did on Thursday we win Tommorow.

The reality is that we're relatively early on in a huge rebuild - not just I'm terms of squad, but in pretty much every aspect of the club.
Personally, I think PC and co are what we need to see us through it, I can see there being further bumps on the road this season and I actually don't think tomorrow has the importance (in the big picture) that many claim it does.
I just wish we could debate on here without some of the personal stuff and with a hell of lot less 'i told you so's posts.

EHL, I agree. I don't think there is much better out there manager wise that we could attract who has as good a track record as PC. The important thing tomorrow is that we compete against Celtic, I don't think we will win tomorrow just due to where the squad is currently and them lot will be running high on confidence.
If they win tomorrow and claim 119 trophies, so what. it's temporary and we'll probably overtake them at some point. That's football.

Yes there will be many more bumps Ehl as long as we see progress but some wave a white flag far to quickly.

I absolutely agree there has been recent progress, but if they win, then any progress stalls.
To say that this game isn't that important in the grand scale of things is just ridiculous. Mark my words, everyone at our club knows the importance of tomorrow - especially PC.

didnt read it as I can probably guess what it said. defeat tomorrow doest stall the progress we have made as there will be bumps in the road. there are those who still down want PC and will use these bumps to say he isn't the man for the job. What they seem to be failing to realise is even if he isn't then the manager who replaces him will still have to go through this rebuild process. similarly winning doesn't mean we are any further along. it may help with confidence but doesn't mean we are the finished article.

Celtic are a monkey on our back that's all, we need to win every game we play up here or questions will always be asked. The results over the past 4 weeks have been more like the standard we want to see, nothing more. I do feel we can beat them tomorrow, they are a good team, nothing more.
