Unfortunately I don't see it as Board holding their nerve - all out of the country (? ) more like Ostrichs losing their bottle.
No doubt the growing number of empty seats will help focus their minds to make tough decisions.
25 Nov 2024 11:31:10
Very wrong in my opinion lifer the easiest decision was sacking him like the majority of fans wanted, leaving him as manager showed far more bottle, they can see it doesn't get fixed sacking a manager after a year, long did Gerrard get for turning things around? many wanted him sacked the season before we won our fifty five league, he signed many players with a very poor success rate but if he didn't leave he wins back to back leagues.
25 Nov 2024 11:43:29
Nope, it doesn't show bottle at all. It just proves how inept this bunch are, and why we are in such a bloody mess!
25 Nov 2024 11:55:54
Sunshine don't agree mate the easiest decision was sack him.
25 Nov 2024 12:02:06
Lifer the majority of the board don’t live in the uk,
25 Nov 2024 12:29:46
It’s certainly not the easy decision to sack a poor performing manager, it’s very naive to keep him in the same position knowing he’s incapable of change and expecting to see a different outcome.
Never forget PC has done this to himself, his inability to be agile in approach has backed himself into a corner which he can’t get out of.
I’m struggling to see one player who has improved under his leadership? Raskin perhaps although there’s an argument that he’s always been a good player but never fit enough.
25 Nov 2024 12:52:00
Nope, they've soiled the bed, stuck their heads in the sand, in the hope it all comes good. Cowards! This is going to come back and bite them in the arse!
When the tims hand us our arse on a plate in the final (and they will), then you'll see a reaction that is needed!
25 Nov 2024 12:59:35
As i said the other day philippe clement won't get sacked as rangers manager anytime soon and the quicker we can all get that into our heads the better ?.
25 Nov 2024 13:22:18
Correct Dado Raskin showed how good a player he is when he first arrived, John Soutter has improved massively this season.
25 Nov 2024 13:23:08
Barron has obviously improved as well.
25 Nov 2024 13:43:51
This is a financially challenging part of the year with Christmas just round the corner, I think it would be very easy for supporters to turn their back on a terrible team and spend elsewhere.
25 Nov 2024 14:00:47
Mystar Steven Gerrards football was never this bad. The team Gerrard inherited was a lot worse than the one pc inherited. If Gerrards win rate was as bad he would have been sacked. Gerrards team improved year on year, whereas pc is getting worse. Gerrard was excellent in interviews, pc blabbering wreck. What improvements have you seen from pc team? To keep hope alive. We all knew this season would be difficult with cuts etc, all we wanted was a team showing improvement, putting up at least a challenge for the title, we're getting none of that mate.
25 Nov 2024 14:14:14
Lifer mmm, interesting name, how did u get a phone in the pokey????.
25 Nov 2024 14:17:16
What was it SG said? "Do I look unhappy" or something like that, then whoosh! gone to Villa and it wasn't a hoose?? moonlight flit?.
25 Nov 2024 14:19:37
Boy blue maybe the football was better but can't you remember of many wanting him shown the door the season before we won the league.
25 Nov 2024 15:10:23
Boy blue everything you say there is accurate. Well said.
25 Nov 2024 15:57:14
Totally agree BB4
Bun just can’t see Pc getting sacked mate think the board have made a choice and stickng with it.
25 Nov 2024 16:52:41
I didn't mystar, as I knew the players were buying into his philosophy, he also had a couple of wins against that lot. Maybe some were calling for him to go, not as many as calling for pc to go, must be around 95% for go.
Fork don't ask daft questions, there's only 1 way to get a phone in jail ? can you imagine typing fork ?.
25 Nov 2024 17:07:33
so Gerrard first season 7 points behind, second 13 points behind so no season on season improvement there.
My star you are correct sections of support asking for his head particularly after Malmo loss and when he lost 5 from 10 games after Xmas which gave Celtic the league. let's not reinvent the past.
25 Nov 2024 17:26:48
Angus good to see u posting mate, we don’t always agree but u bring a calmness to the debate.
25 Nov 2024 17:37:34
Boy blue the poll last night 32% wanted him staying until the summer or staying next season for that 5% is well off mate.
25 Nov 2024 19:05:18
Agree john, angus is a good poster.
25 Nov 2024 19:21:41
Let me start by saying that I no longer think that Clement is the correct man to take us forward. However, one of the reasons that we are in our current state is because we have sacked and paid off far too many managers and coaches. We have an unacceptable record of appointing the wrong manager, from Le Guen to Pedro to Beale and it could be argued Gio! All of these individuals left with millions in their pockets which has left the club short of cash. We are now left with a lame duck manager who is hanging on for a payout we cannot afford to give him, therefore we are stuck with him.
In my honest opinion, our only chance to get rid of him is if he does get offered the Belgium job.
Until that point, we are stuck with him and a level of football not seen in Ibrox since pre-Souness days which believe it or not was far worse than it currently is just now.

cheers John and Dado. been reading but just got fed up with the sort of responses I got. I have been close a couple of times from some of the nonsense been spouted on here but held off. No matter how bad we are or how bad it gets I would rather be going through this than what seemed the alternative which is a 2012-style event mark II. take care gents as you amongst a few others are amongst the posters on here I respect the opinion of. down always agree but then again that isn't a bad thing.
