I don`t get the love for Duncan Ferguson on here, he was a waste of money who hardly scored a goal, was injured constantly and embarrassed the club on and off the field . If he was around nowadays he would be getting pelters.

Sir Walter, I think I just did, but my point is if you looked at his record as a Rangers player and he was in the current squad he would be getting criticised for, being a waste of money at £4million, was he not our record signing at the time. £4 million back then was a lot more that it is now . He was injured a lot and didn`t score enough goals when he played, look at the stick Danilo and Dessers get. I don`t rate Dessers but pretty sure he scores more goals for us than Ferguson did. Then there is his violent behaviour of and on the pitch something that followed him around to all his clubs.
He may have done well at Evertons academy but if the idea is to develop our youngsters Rangers DNA, he`s not qualified. People like Steve Davis, Kevin Thomson and Neil McCann who had successful Rangers careers would be far better bets in my opinion.
