After watching young ben Doak for the second game on a trot, that's the type of winger we need. right or left. One that attacks a full back and gets into areas much like Mcgins goal last night. If the manager doesn't see this then may the Belgium job come as quick as possible.

Doak is well on his way to being a £50 million player and possibly then some. If we could find someone like that great, but I doubt it's that straightforward.

We doak is absolutely explosive, would love a winger that goes at defenders like that, it causes all sorts of problems for defenders.

Im not sure I agree McMinn. I don't think he will ever be worth 50 million. I just don't see a top level player capable of being a starter in a top league top 4 team.

TJB the boy is tearing it up in the championship and has Carrick guiding him and it's showing already. In a couple of years he will be starting for Liverpool and tearing it up, just needs to work on his decision making but no doubt he's getting better and better!

Folks, yes a bit tongue n cheek however he's only played 20 competative matches and not done anything in the game, imo a bit premature to predict based on that. Personaly don't think he has enough in comparison to other young outstanding players that are making it in the game atm, he's prob a class or 2 below them.
I do respect your opinions folks and if he does make it as one of the best wingers in the world and plays regularly in one of the best teams in the world competing to win the Champions league, fair enough.

Doak is typical of many young Scottish players . The fans either have him as one of the greatest Scottish wingers ever, or else they find fault with everything he does, there is never middle ground.
I watched him in three of his last four Internationals and I am not sure one way or other . He seems good at making himself available to receive ball and sometimes, but not often enough, he can go right past his man but often he freezes and looses the ball.
All over the World we have youngsters a year or two younger who have already made their name at the highest level . It seems in Scotland and maybe UK we are falling behind and our youngsters are a year or 2 behind in developing possible future stars.
