Are you saying Koppen did not already know his role? What do you mean by fully defined?

He has been made Technical director WestEnder, which means he is now in charge of directing technical things.

It was not clear imo what creag robertson was actually responsible for.
It looks like we are trying to mirror the structure at clubs like Brighton, mb Ehl could add more.

Coldo, Obviously Koppen new his role as Director of Football recruitment, he is still Director of football recruitment, but it's a new role for him as technical director, overall responsibility for our academy, medical department and analysis department, just a top man for having in the building.

RFC wouldn't be concerned with Koppen, that man has a very high success rate and sometimes signings do not work for a variety of reasons.

Club is a shambles, his current performance is questionable yet he’s been promoted to oversee issues that are seemingly beyond his expertise. He was a scout in his previous role, now he’s overseeing issues beyond recruiting
Who’s even making this appointment? Nobody above him.

Pretty sure he knew what his role was previously but his job title of D. O. F Recruitment suggested a pretty narrow area of responsibility . His new job as Technical Director is more akin to the previous D.O.F Role where he has overall responsibility of the whole of the football department . Interesting though that he will not be Clements boss as the statement says that both will answer to the new CEO when he is appointed.
I like that Koppen has suggested that getting a couple of ex players involved with the youngsters is something he wants to do and that he is highlighting lack of games for the players at B team level . He also says he would like to see youngsters getting first team opportunities at a younger age. They are all good things for the future.

Koppen has a very high success rate where mystar? I keep seeing you referring to clement/ koppen past successes, will mean nothing to us if they don't have success here mate.

Koppen and Clement past success just figure that out mate, Koppen has nothing to do with Clement been at a couple of clubs but that's it, Koppen has been successful at every club he been boy blue, what am talking about as being successful is he has signed plenty players for pennies and made his club fortunes when selling they players in a year or 2,signed Lang for Brugge for under a million and then signed him the following season psv for over 15m, but been a good few better than that, only been he a year here let's see what he does over the next few years.

Club is a laughing stock at present. Nobody seems to know what they are doing. That's both Koppen and Clement received contract extensions for being below average.

The fact you get 6 months or a year here to then be dubbed a failure and want every new signing to be amazing right away means nobody will ever be a success.

Ah so he's been promoted. Not had a chance to watch any interviews yet. Hopefully the new structure improves things John, however it is alarming that there was no clear structure before.
BB4 correct, past glory counts for nothing if he's not successful at us and given his signings so far I'm not sure he does know his role.
Florida, I'm thinking the same mate.
I wouldn't be against ex players like Davis being about the club. Might encourage the serial loser or others to get their finger out.

Mystar I didn't say he did have anything to do with him, what I'm saying is you keep mentioning how pc has had success in other countries and also that koppen has had success in his role in other countries. That will count for nothing if they aren't successful here mate. Lbh both aren't doing to well here, 9 points adrift in the league put out of cl. Pc's only success was a cup that celtic weren't in anymore, a one off game after a previous manager got the team to final and obviously wasn't koppen/ clement signings. So what I'm saying is koppen signings have done nothing yet mate.
