Conner Goldsons comments are very naive, 1 league title and 1 Scottish cup and a league cup does not entitle him or Tav as legends. Both are serial losers with delusions of grandeur to their place in Rangers history. Onwards and upwards.

I just hate the serial loser, would love for these guys to be legends but they’re not even close and Celtic would have pumped them two out years before we have (or are hoping to) .

Both stopped 10 in a row, won every domestic trophy at least once. and were a kick away from being Europa champions. Why do people act like this isn't worthy of respect when we were lifting a 3rd Division trophy a decade ago.

Goldson was an excellent player for us, just tapered away at the end. I remember when we signed him that I thought we had an absolute bargain, and he was awesome in our 55. Respect to the lad.

There is a huge space between club legends and serial losers and both these guys are in that space. Maybe if they had won the Europa they would have been legends, especially Tav with all the goals he scored to get us there, but they didn`t so that aren`t . Goldsons comments about rushing back after an injury with no pre season rings true for me, because he never looked fit in his last season. Maybe at times he wasn`t great but he could never be accused of being unfit until then. We can argue all day about his status but there is no argument that he was and is better than the guy they signed to replace him who is totally useless .

Morelos, kent, jack, goldson, roofe another 4 who are in the doldrums just now. Either been freed by clubs, playing in a poor league or without a club.
I read barasic is to be freed too. These were our main players and biggest earners who won us very little. Not valued anywhere else. That tells you something.

Alan McGregor wasn't a serial loser, under Walter he proved that. Unfortunately in his second spell he was surrounded by serial losers. And yes Aribo and Bassey should have won a lot more. They were not here as long as Tav, Goldson who were the top serial losers.

Did you slag off these players when the won Title No. 55 and stopped 10 in a row . A thing we would never have dreamed of before these guys came to the club . Most of that team cost very little, McGregor, Jack, Arfield, Balogun, Davis, Aribo, Bassey, Defoe were all frees, Kamara £50,000, Barisic £1.2 million, Morelos £1 million so maybe their wages were higher but that's the deal, you don`t pay a club so you pay the players . Even Goldson, 6 years service for £3 million and Tav were value for money. Maybe Helander and Roofe with all their injuries didn`t and Kent although he did well, he was not a £7million player. It doesn`t matter what has happened to them at the end of their careers they deserve respect for that title win alone. Its not their fault the club failed to build on their success.

Mcgregor won plenty trophies for us so that's a poor example to use. A great goalie who saved us time and again when it mattered.

Stevieg2, I agree 100% with you, when we were put in the bottom tier of Scottish Football we lost all financial clout to compete with Celtic, and all the other roll over and tickle me attitude of the others in the SPL when we were out did nothing for Scottish Football. We are now though waking up to being properly run within our means, and I'm sorry but that will mean a few more years of watching that mob winning titles and losing us credibility in Europe via their inept performances. As for Tavernier and Goldson, both were decent at times, but failed at the sharp end e. g. Europa Cup Final when we could've got automatic entry to the CL the following season, the least said about Kent and Morelos the better, finally, we should've kept Scotty Arfield for at least another season, poor decision making from the Board and Manager.

We were one decent finish from Ryan Kent away from winning that trophy and yous would all be saying different if that went in.
