McINNES is NOT the answer! PC has a few games to get it right and January against the unwashed!

Agree5 Disagree0

What is the question?

25 Oct 2024 20:47:03
Storm I’m guessing it’s Is mcinness the answer and how long does PC have left to get it right ?.

25 Oct 2024 20:48:51
So all you Mcinnes supporters, do u think his assessment of big Dessers occupying the 2 C/ H's to enable space for Cerny/ Lawrence to exploit was spot on or just mince. Just saying?.

25 Oct 2024 20:56:37
Mince! McInness?! As much as I believe Clement needs removed, if McInness replaced him, I'm out for good.

25 Oct 2024 21:02:34
Lol bud at least your decisive??.

25 Oct 2024 21:47:57
Getting McInnes in would be as bad as getting Billy Davies back in the day.

25 Oct 2024 21:58:29
Still think Clement will be our manager for a while yet, but performances need to be better and not just in a game here and there but every game or at least creating plenty chances and plenty fight all over the park, he just needs to find a way of breaking these walls down and the first thing to do in my opinion is he starts using Bajrami as a ten we can see he has great vision and good technical ability he'd help more from that position at bursting they defences, but think that's his position when Cortes is back fit.

plus we need another wide player in January, cm cf winger and we'll have a far better chance this season, having any chance of winning the league we need to beat them in January, very unlikely we win it this season but am not saying we can't.

25 Oct 2024 23:07:56
Fair point My Star. I think we have a decent squad, bit light up front, but on our game we are good. Need to repeat thursdays performance every game, tempo, commitment and effort.

26 Oct 2024 02:33:44
Can I ask a serious question. Did the folk who are turning their noses up at McInnes turn their noses up at McLeish and declare they were out?

26 Oct 2024 07:36:32
No, because big Eck was a class manager, a gentleman, and one helluva player in his day, whereas McInness isn't, wasn't, and never will be. Does that answer your question? ?.

26 Oct 2024 07:49:27
I totally disagree with most. J think Mcinnes is a good manager who understands the game, especially in Scotland and who has done really well with virtually every club ge has been at, as well as getting quite a few results against both halves of old firm. While I'm not saying he should be our manager, it's a bit ridiculous to suggest someone with his background and experience in our game, who was personally recommended for the job by Sir Walter, would not be involved in the discussion.

Good post Bazbear ?.

26 Oct 2024 08:46:46
We have someone dead and buried and DM walking into his shoes - surely we can see that constant change is NEVER going to help our club first to stabilise then to grow and really challenge - we have seen some green shoots of progress when we should have won the league and in Europe on occasion and I feel that we don't truly understand how much PC has had dumped on his plate - we have decimated the wage bill cleared out nearly a full team and THEY have spent around 25 mill on Ida Engels and Trusty - 3 players! - surely this puts things into perspective -IMHO PC needs few more windows and if we are going to judge every manager on a Celtic result then - prepare for a new manager every year - REALISM AND FORWARD PLANNING IS PRIORITY AMONGST THE TOP OF THE TREE - STABILITY ?.

26 Oct 2024 10:20:51
I’m with you sunshine ?.

26 Oct 2024 11:23:33
Sunshine, McLeish managed Motherwell and Hibs before rangers with no more “class” shown than McInnes has with Aberdeen and killie. Point two, being a gentleman means hee haw, I’ve never heard anyone say McInnes is a bad person. And if being a great player is a requirement to being a great manager then ask Alex Ferguson and Walter Smith if that was the case. So no it didn’t really answer the question, you just made me more confused on how your brain works ?.

26 Oct 2024 12:10:45
You don't need to worry about my brain, Blue89, just worry that yours isn't on a par with mine! ?.

26 Oct 2024 13:01:18
The question would need to be, if Rangers had to pick a Scottish manager, who had previously played for us, from another SPL club, who would they have to pick?

26 Oct 2024 14:34:28
Know Big Eck personally for 20 odd years, guy is an absolute gentleman 100%.
