On Cerny, I would say, let's have some patience with him. No preseason and straight into the season. He has real pedigree with 1 in 4 goals at a good domestic level and 1 in 3 at international. let's see where we're at with him come Jan. He is due a goal very soon.

Agree7 Disagree0

He, like a few others, are not used to coming up against a 9 man defence. Probs best (hopefully) in Europe or against teams like Celtic, who will give him more space. 2nd half, we were all, over, cr*p, so can't judge him yet.

Agree - he blows hot and cold at the moment but there is talent there no doubt. What we don’t need is our own fans getting on his back.

It won’t make him better. The groans in Ibrox at his misplaced pass back to Barron after a neat exchange were damn embarrassing. Best fans in Scotland?

30 Sep 2024 06:47:28
Against Celtic? He was hopeless. Never a wide player, far too predictable. His petulance yesterday sums him up. Another Cantwell.

30 Sep 2024 07:51:22
I was sitting not too far from where he had his petulant wee reaction, and if he can't handle the groans and moans (there was no abuse), then it's either time to grow thicker skin or see you. He was really poor yesterday, and has been for a while.

30 Sep 2024 08:32:09
the groans were for a pass back to a Rangers player. it wasnt as if he lost the ball or miscontrolled it or made any sort of mistake other than in the eyes of the fans he should have done something else.

I suggest if fans don't expect players to make mistakes or play in a way they don't like then perhaps it is them who need to make the choice of going or not. I'll await all the abuse (sorry moans and groans) for that. when the game is tight and near the end the team need the support of the crowd and not an atmosphere that makes it more tense.

30 Sep 2024 10:36:40
If the players done their jobs it wouldn't be so tense. The players and manager are at the root of our on-field struggles not the fans.
Just more excuse making from you!

30 Sep 2024 10:45:05
Angus this rhetoric that us fans don't allow players to make mistakes is just crazy, did you watch the game? It was riddled with mistakes mate. All we wanted was a bit more from our players if that's a crime then we are all guilty. It's fully grown men we are dealing with not nursery children, if they can't handle moans groans they've chosen wrong career.

He does seem to be struggling with the demands of playing for Rangers where playing the ball backwards to keep possession in a game we are winning brings groans from our own fans . He has to learn not to react but he isn`t the first and he won`t be the last to react to some of our " supporters".

I have to laugh when we sign a guy who is an international winger who is left footed but plays on the right and has done so all his career but we have experts who decide he`s too slow to play there or he should be on the left because they all know better than countless coaches.

To label him another Cantwell just because he reacted to the crowd is also a joke, why not another Dessers, he did it too. Maybe some of the supporters need to take a look at themselves because the stick they are giving their own players on and off the pitch isn`t helping anybody.

30 Sep 2024 12:10:56
cerny to me is a good player lacking confidence and needs supporting not slagging.

30 Sep 2024 13:18:46
you are right wsl but Dessers is now being accepted by those same fans who moaned about him Sunshine I give up. you obviously are looking for perfection and that doesn't exist.

Boy blue I was there and the 'wait until they get back to Ibrox' atmosphere wasnt there. there were mistakes but in this case he passed a ball back to a Rangers player to retain possession.

I can see the mistakes and react but that Ibrox atmosphere actually lifts the players, think Europe, so if you don't believe that the crowd affects a player's performance then not worth discussing. everyone groans, me included but it needs to be balanced by the larger supporting element. I think some just sit there doing nothing waiting for something to go wrong so they can moan. just my experience.

It's pointless, Bb4, there's a hardcore of happy clappers on here who have become so used to failure and mediocrity that they don't see the forest for the trees. Oh, and if you dare question them, or post anything at all negative, you're getting accused of being "angry"! Nope, we've all to sit there blindly cheering the dire football on show with big smiles on our faces, and God forbid, if you moan, groan or have a go. ??.

30 Sep 2024 16:45:29
Aye but are you no a Tim also SS??.

30 Sep 2024 18:19:49
P.o.d. you accusing anybody of being petulant is hilarious. If you want to read your own posts you were the one asking why I was angry.
Maybe I should finish my post with numerous laughing emojis.
On the other hand I'll leave that to you.
You even picked your user name just to try and wind up another poster.
Strange behaviour in my opinion.

30 Sep 2024 19:26:28
Think that's going to stick.

30 Sep 2024 20:48:06
Who accused anyone of being "Petulant"? You've just made that up! If you need to make up stuff to win an arguement, you're on your arse. And, where did I ask you why you were "angry"? I have no care whatsoever why you are angry, so again, stop making stuff up.

Also, using some other poster's patter is a bit desperate and tragic. Where's your originality? ???? (just for you)

01 Oct 2024 07:08:24
"Some other " so insulted lol???.

01 Oct 2024 07:48:03
???? Apologies, Fork!

01 Oct 2024 09:38:06
Lol no worries ???.
