We need to be careful with the obligation to buy with this player. Be interesting to hear what type of injury he has sustained.

My understanding was the obligation to buy kicks in once he was available for 70% of games. In saying that, we injured him so need to maybe cut him some slack.

Heard them confirm it on the news earlier. It really is incredible the amount of injuries we suffer. Talking about several weeks ?.

What player injured him in training surely they all know he’s just coming back from injury their for cut him some slack. From what I’ve seen of him, he looks a good player.

But he seems very injury prone if he can’t handle a tackle which is going to happen up here a lot theirs not much point in signing him and I don’t say that easily as I do like him but this isn’t good at all.

I feel sorry for him but I don’t see how we will sign him. We can’t afford to take a chance if it’s several weeks that’s nearly Xmas might not see him back until new year? Very frustrating.

I agree with what u say stig.

Well? If its 70% of games?, let's hope it's not another Hagi, situation where we make sure we don't have to pay 4.5 mill!

I honestly feel sorry for Cortes. Looks a great player and he’s just not getting a run at it at all? I’m not sure what the answer is for him. But I feel frustrated for him god knows how he must feel.

Looks the type of player who would love to get a chance to showcase his talents on the European stage and now again another set back with one of our own injuring him ??.

If he is playing 70% of games, I think he is worth the money. Stig never played professionally, but his first injury seemed to be caused by the way he fell and was an over-extension of the muscle.

Second one is just a bang in a tackle. Depending on where you get hit, it can hurt and swell. Knees and ankles tend to be the main areas. Happens all the time in contact sports, but not all result in time away.

The club might also be being careful as he has been out for a while and don't want to risk it. There needs to be contact in training to simulate a game and you want players to play to a certain level of physicality, but not overdo it. Sounds like that here. Just bad luck.
