Why are so many hostile toward Hagi? If it his contract and extra payments due to more appearances then that's not his fault that's the board and previous management teams fault for agreeing to give it to him. Hagi playing B team football devalues him and no buying club are paying us anywhere near the money we're rumoured to be wanting.

I'm certainly not hostile towards Hagi G4,but here's the thing with Hagi, he wanted a move but because no clubs he's be interested in made a move for him he suddenly loves Rangers, by the way Hagi is a very average player at best, he has got better in many people eyes when injured.

He wanted away. He made that clear. He should have made sure he got a move during summer.
If that meant re-aligning his perception of how good he thinks he is with the reality of who wanted him and what they were prepared to offer, then so be it.
It would have been better than playing B team football for a season.
He’s not worth the rumoured 1mill we’d owe his last club if he kept playing for us.
Maybe he’ll realise that during the January window.

Because his Dad does not shut up about his situation and he speaks like he’s grew up supporting us from a child.
Bottom line is he just isn’t that good and people know it. He can’t really be devalued much more as he’s not worth much to start with, the issue was the wages he expected from other clubs, not the value there were willing to pay us.
I’d also flip the question back on you, why do so many fans think an average player is Hagi is our savour?

Wouldn't call it hostile g4, just not gullible to lap up this i love rangers nonsense, after trying desperately for a move. Nobody is saying the contract of more money is his fault, his only fault is he is not considered good enough for £20,000 a week never mind 26/28 whatever it may be. You obviously think he is good enough for that kind of money, the coaches that see him daily don't! It happens in football regularly mate. It's not an ideal situation for both parties.

Hagi is a decent footballer and not as bad or as good as some people make him out to be. There are currently 3 potential number 10s in Lawrence, bajrami and diomande. I think keeping the 1.5 million that could be owed to genk if he plays again is sensible.

won Practicaly nothing walked for free and caused more trouble than he was worth when he was here yet some fans could`nt see he was just in it for himself.
I honestly don't see Hagi being anywhere near as bad?
So what iF he wanted away so did Goldson at one point no one came in for him and so he decides to sign a new deal at last minute and then walked again when the chance came calling every player at some point wants to walk does not mean we have to dicriminate against them.

He may not be the saviour but he's still a decent player. Think it's just been down to budgets, managers probably told the million payment to genk and the extra 5 grand a week would come off the buying and wages budget, so they'd rather sell. I wonder if he'd played if we'd maybe have got a couple of million for him which is more than we're likely to get when he's playing for the b team.

Rumour I've heard from within the club around Hagi was that there was a deal on the table for Hagi in the summer that worked for all parties.
Hagi and his team backed out of it late on as they thought another club, rumoured to be from Serie A, were a better option but this fell through.
Meanwhile Rangers had started negotiations with another target which we had to pull out of as Hagi didn't move on.
As such, there is a bit of bad blood between both parties.

In all this Hagi discussion, John - I reply to you, as a valuable contributor to this site (along others) - as I respect your opinion.
Hagi never said he wants away from Ibrox. When he left for Alaves he wrote a post saying that he wants to be back as he has unfinished business. During the Euro, he said that he instructed his agents to find him a club where he is wanted, and he even specified that it may be Rangers. The boy just wants to play, he is not a money-driven player.
All the other BS is given by the crazy italian-romanian agent who is not actually his agent. He had to post about this because was going out of control with the guy.

Good post Soccer fan. I don’t believe hagi is what some make him out to be. I think he genuinely loved playing for us and unfortunately we went through a bad spell with managers and playing style and his injury, etc.
He deserves another chance like everyone else no matter what the scenario was and let’s see if he can or cannot do a wee job for us.It’s that simple to me. As the saying goes (you're paid to play, so play). ? Which I think he would.
We're the best supporters in the world. We call each other out everyday for different things. Support the club, support the players. Everyone shouts it when it’s in favour of their agenda.
Right now Hagi is a paid Rangers player, so why we all not supporting him? He was told as I keep saying to find another club, but he didn’t. Same as others, but they're still here same as hagi except they get playing time?

As far as we know he ran his contract down to look for a better deal it didn’t materialise so signed a new one with us
although I read on here he may have ran down his contract so club didn’t have to pay last club money?

on the coldo conversation why does so many dislike him he argues his point the same way everyone else does I’ve said it for a long time now going back a few year I like coldo or what ever knew name he comes up with

Stig I agree to a certain degree re coldo, he can go for certain posters at times which is a bit much, but as soon as people find out it's him his opinions become worthless and he gets piled on constantly, sometimes for the right reasons sometimes not imo. One thing is for sure he is a 100% a bear, as stig says who's going to go through all that if your not one of us? So yeah coldo come on as yourself, your so easy to spot anyway.

Right, it was Hagi who said he wanted to leave. His quote was that he told his agents to find him the right team and manager. So that isn't I love rangers and want to stay.
