Sorry Guys just seeing some replies to a question I asked about the manager having a say in players brought in

@John I'm not sure what was out total outlay this summer on players coming in? Anyone got an amount they would like to throw out there?
@John given PC has already been given an improved contract can I ask a question?
What is your thoughts on the board giving him more funds in January? How much more do you think we can offer him in January and the hat about summer?
As far as your concerned John out with all the posts on banter and another chats PC will be given time do you think to get rid of the players we don't want and need and he will be given the time needed along with Nils to get a squad together no matter what happens this summer?
Or do you think or heard anything on the grapevine that could suggest PC has a minimum set of (what's the word) honestly mind blank ?
Does he have a minimum set of targets to hit?
If you are getting any info at all on the manager are we all safe to say he's here until next year at the very least? And will he get what he and Nils expect to get the players in?

Stig I think you need to join the board as those answers are ones I would expect only to be know to the board. Can you imagine the board printing the targets he has and the fuss and furore that would happen if he missed one or just got it over the line. also if they told fans what the budget was and thinks hat wouldn't help buying or selling clubs.
Fans seem to think that they should be told this info somehow and respect to John, if he does know, he is right not to put that info out there. Hats off John.

Good point BB which is why I put if he does know. More the point that I don't think the club should be informing fans of everything. Kick off times, ticket prices yes, budgets even tactics no as it gives others that info as well.

But a lot of it would be pure speculation
Its pretty obvious what pcs targets are he and Bennett have told us.

I'd be absolutely stunned if PC doesn't have an input on the players we sign he's part of the executive along with nk and I'm sure Robertson who look at signings.

I think the idea though is to have a style which even if the manager leaves the new one can come in and play similarly. therefore there isn't the same turnover of players. I suspect even then the manager has some say on the positions he needs and he might be given a list of possibles. we can't keep changing managers and if it doesn't work we can't keep rebuilding so having a strategy and style like that makes sense.

We have all witnessed for a long time now some responses from certain posters to others can be spiteful argumentative even vilify at times but they hate when someone pulls them up on it ? I know it’s boring but sometimes it needs called out some folk could start an argument in an empty room on here at times silly really but he ho everyone who reads the site and comments on the site know all to well who the majority who do it and it becomes embarrassing especially when their little friends on a forum jump in ??.
