New poster, but frequent reader of the site.

As rangers fans we have been through the worst the past 15 years or so, and it's clear that although we've managed to come back up the leagues and win all trophies available (once) and reach a European final, we are still miles from the competitive aspect of the old firm, The board failed to back Gerrard, then gio and decided to give Michael Beale of all people a transfer kitty to spend on players not fit for the SPL.

I don't have a rumour to spread i have only one point to make, the people who keep scoffing at others asking about takeover rumours or scoffing at others making the point that this board is unfit, where do you get the confidence that this board can take rangers forward and turn them back into the rangers we all know and deserve?

This fan base is the best in the world, it's tried and tested. We will follow anywhere, but at some point, we have to acknowledge that the board not only knows this, but counts on our unwavering loyalty. I'm not suggesting we act like the other mob and start hurling barricades at buses etc. But Rangers are not a club who should be "rebuilding" for 3 years with the amount of money spent by fans to watch games and on merchandise etc. the money is there do not kid yourselves, this board and these owners do not want to spend the money.

Some guys on here seem to have more loyalty to the money men at the top than they do their club and its fans. We deserve better and fans rightly so deserve to be asking and hoping for better. If fans don't get a grip and shake off this 2nd best loser mentality, the rangers we all know are dead. It starts with us and people need to start making it known that a rebuild and 2nd will never cut it here.

P.S Tavernier is pish poor and we can do miles better. Nobody's wrong on that one either.
