Title: A post about nothing in particular
My Opinion has not changed since the start of the season. PC and Bennet need time to try and get this re-structure sorted. The rebuild was in 2012, this is different in my view. I fully get the spending on the infrastructure of the stadium and other avenues in a business world but in a footballing world we have went backwards. Basically investing in new revenue streams due to FFP but the main product is not very good. Leads to lots of frustration in the fan base. I also believe being back at Ibrox can help.
I believe we need to give the reigns to one individual that has a working relation with PC and they set the compass bearing to which hopefully the club reaches its goal. If that's Bennet then that's how we move forward. He is the only one that is in view. The board need to utilise him to reduce the stress level of the support. We do not need a CEO.
PC as a manager is trying to say the right things but again the majority don't understand micro success especially after getting humped by Celtic. He will I believe be given time but he needs to start thinking and understanding that our support are patient but can turn. So the motivational arguments keep for the players. We aren't bringing in the same quality just cheaper options, however over the long run it would need a disaster for us not to finish second. Not being defeatist but an objective view on things as they are now.
Let's put this to bed. SG won one trophy. He bolted because he saw what was coming. He did not want to ride it out. My biggest regret is GVB. He won a cup and got to a European final to get the push for Beale. That's a board decision but was all the board, not sure. Time to move on take the hits and we'll keep supporting the Teddy bears.

If he was trying to say the right things why we he highlight the win against Ross county after the humiliating defeat at the weekend. This seems like a man who is desperate.

SG left because he wasn’t backed at the exact time he should’ve been backed. He was offered the Newcastle job a few months prior to taking the Villa job so why did he not just bolt to the EPL then?
The failings fall will the board and the fact they aren’t very good at running a football club.
I feel sorry for PC because I believe the board gave him false promises so he’s had his hands tied behind his back. But at the same time he isn’t inescapable from criticism himself. He needs to learn from his mistakes. If we can see that Tav is going to get ripped apart by Maeda then why can’t he. If we can see that every time we turn the ball over the other team are one pass away from being in on goal against us then why can’t he? It’s schoolboy stuff. His main goal for the rest of this year should be to give the team a structure and be hard to beat. If that means playing 4 CBs then do it. Talking about beating Ross County won’t fly with the support or about stats against Celtic.

That's a decent balanced post Windy, we've been losing money or struggling to break even for years now, and we just had to bite the bullet. There's a chance Tav will still go to Turkey, and when tge new guys settle well gave the basis of a young sustainable team which we can add to every transfer window, the board gave millions to Beale in good faith and it didn't work out, I always thought Gio should have been backed and given time but the baying mob hounded him out too. Confidence and a leader in the middle of the park is all we're missing.

Ausbear. You proved my point. Micro Success was Ross County. It’s a motivation tactic to see small improvements even when it seems it’s went pear shape. Best result in 4 years. Thus why I said “keep it for the players”.

Blue SG wanted to keep players and bring in more on the same wage structure. He was backed. The board thankfully didn’t do that. Again micro success includes Ross County and yes Stats. Agree keep that out the press. As for Tav agree again. Now is the time to make his mark.

Good post Windy and agree with everything except for the support being patient. I think he was looking to highlight those 'micro successes' in his post-match. when was the last time we beat RC or others 6-0 we tend to go 2 up and then settle, they pinch one back and we are nervous. surely that is progress. we were well-beaten on Sunday but he is right we had almost same possession, same shots and same on target; again progress of sorts from the last season. His system will get better as players bed in and if that makes us use the possession better and turn those chances created into goals. More performances like RC will build that confidence and players might stop snatching at chances in the big games.
