Lampard is not the answer, and it's worrying anyone would think he his. He's shown nothing to suggest he'd do anything better with what's available.
He's not bringing Chelsea players on loan 'at reduced costs' and him being a 'wealthy individual' means nothing.

Neither should be considered until at least PC gets a full season with his own. players. I'm a PC fan but I'm getting more concerned by the week.

PC at least needs to be given to January to see how the team have improved, the man said November which sounds about right with the size of rebuild, ifew players still to be brought into team and hopefully a style of play drilled into team, my only hope is that he uses the more difficult games in Europe to have a plan B as the press will not work against a Spurs or Man U as once it’s played through our defence will be in bother, we are up against it as it is without letting opposition having a field day.

Tbh it's a ridiculous question after getting rid of 2 managers in 2 years we can't sack PC after 12 months.

Gerrard lost 4 of his first 6 and they gave him 3 years and most are saying that the team is worse then than it is now. not saying PC gets that long but what do you suggest Monty: we get rid of PC now, January and then what a new manager comes in does well for 6 months to a year and then doesn't beat Celtic or wins the league so we sack him as well.
This forum was full of people saying he needed at least 3 windows. he has had 1 and played 4 matches with the new squad. The style of play was more obvious and that I think will be what is aimed for. and before anyone says they are rubbish Aberdeen scraped a goal 8 minutes into injury time to beat them and RC had a penalty saved. Perhaps we made them look more ordinary. Celtic were a step too far at this time for the new squad. just an opinion but time will tell.

Cause we're in a league where you play your biggest rival up to 6 times a season. If we sack Clement, I'm almost certain we'll never win a title again. We cannot afford to bring in a new managers players etc. This isn't an instant fix it'll be a painful season but we should see improvement month by month and next summer has to be a summer with the title as our goal. If you don't see that then you're either stupid or in denial.

Foolmonty ; yes it’s five games but they simply have a better team all over the park a far bigger bank balance to keep adding so this is going to take three or four windows to get near like it or lump it we can’t sack managers every year and start another rebuild we been stability.

Not so sure One Walter the fans will have a big say in this and then it will be up to the board, forget all this long term strategy, goes for nothing if team does not improve and win games, in my opinion if we lose a few including Europe then get turned over at Ibrox next old firm then that might be it for him.
The pressure would be ramped at that point, can he survive not winning any of six or seven old firm games?

To be honest we can be annoyed, frustrated and probably a good reason to be. But we’ve crossed that point now and PC and Bennet need to be given the chance to see where it takes us. Still don’t think we need a CEO. Would rather Bennet had the final say.
