I stand by what I posted last week. We are at our weakest since the time SG came in, and it's only going to get worse.
Right now, we are an omni shambles, both on, and off the park. No heart! No fight! A manager with no clue! A captain with no balls! A board with no grasp on how to run a football team. No cash! And a team full of no hopers! Can PC, the board, and this bunch of cowards turn things around? No chance!

I've abit more optimism thankfully ? firstly the treatment of our manager and captain and others at Ibrox yesterday was disgusting and totally embarrassing.
Few points I'd like to put forward the obvious is Tav is spent and needs dropped if Yilmaz is not going to be fit week in week out we need to go to a back 3 balogun should be reinstated. Danilo and dowell are waste of a wage and are providing nothing and should be removed from the set up and moved out in.

I was hesitant to have a go at Clement as I said yesterday but I'm starting to question his set up and tactics. The persistence to play with a 10 hasn't worked and it won't work. Bajrami may well be a fantastic 10 but the problem is that we don't have the CM's to play that system either. Our defence is a shambles, don't think Propper is any better than Davies.
If Clement wants to save any credibility then I think he has to change it but I think he's too stubborn.

Calm down dear, get yourself a herbal tea!
There’s some decent players in that team. We’ve spent more than anyone in the league (net) and we’ll no doubt pick up from the level we’re delivering now. Let’s players get fit and settle down. We need to have a decent season and see some development in these players. The way some of the fans are acting now, PC will chuck it and we’ll have 20 players regarded as deadwood and we’ll be unable to ship them. again!

They won’t turn it round this season but we’ve put ourselves in such a bad position that it was an impossible task to do so. We’re miles off it and there's big concerns about every aspect of the club. The standard of showing yesterday was worse than I expected and as soon as they scored the disallowed goal we collapsed entirely. Is that the managers fault though? I thought up until that we were the better team. His post match interview talking about shots etc. was a big concern to me as if he thinks that game was even then he’s absolutely deluded.
02 Sep 2024 09:17:01
We new there was gona be pain this season it’s as if fans never new yesterday was coming and it’s a shock.
02 Sep 2024 09:17:23
May as well just give up then and stop supporting the team. If you’ve given up all hope then I pity you. Without hope, you have nothing.
02 Sep 2024 09:23:02
I fully understand those who say we can’t continue to change coaches but does anyone have faith in Clement? Other than Barron his signing have been awful to date . His tactics are rigid and old fashioned, his man management is crap and his stubbornness makes it even worse . To bring on Hamza on his debut at Parkhead when 3-0 down is bad enough but to do so when Danilo nisbet on the bench is inexcusable.

Sunshine I agree with everything you have said regarding the Manager, Captain and The Board out of interest if they were to sack Clement who would you be looking at to replace him mate?
02 Sep 2024 09:26:36
Hit reply without finishing post. to summarise we need to change the shape and focus on settling a team down to help them gel.
Butland
Sterling
Kasa
Balogun
Barron
Raskin
Yilmaz
Cerny
Cortez
Bajrami
Dessers
In possession Yilmaz cerny would play high Cortez would play off dessers pressing from the front Barron would shuffle across to cover cerny out of possession we can be far more rigid with Yilmaz in lb role. Fluid set up with legs to press probably means replacement for dessers with a more mobile forward in January.

You should change your name to rain cloud.

It was a poor performance
Following which I've seen call to sack the board, theanager, the captain, 90% of the squad - including players who have only played a handful of games, Celtic being handed an undefeated league title and treble, Celtic being handed ten in a row, posters vowing not to watch another game until either the captain or manager is replaced, posters wanting to see mass demonstrations and protests.
Whatever happened to no surrender?
02 Sep 2024 09:46:40
The issue is not that yesterday was a bad performance and we will recover from it. Unfortunately barring a miracle or a change of ownership, (which the current Board are reluctant to allow), we will fall further behind Celtic and I can see us become no more than part of the pack.
The way we operate is no way to run a business never mind a football club and the Board can't even do the simply things effectively.
Too many vanity projects, previous Chairmen living in the past, no current CEO and a Board that looks bereft of ideas and ambition.
PC will take the brunt of the fans' anger and to an extent he merits criticism, principally because he continues to play Tav when the guy is no longer fit for purpose, but in reality we need change at the top if we are to even come close to Celtic.
02 Sep 2024 09:53:10
Well said EHL2020 ?????????.
02 Sep 2024 09:55:35
EHL, the Board surrendered a long time ago, the day that Park took over and rather than support SG, who had just delivered the league title, took the decision to use funds received for players etc., to repay soft loans and then, rather than doing what the Celtic Board has done in the past, continued to look at how to fleece the fans without putting anything back.
The fans expect success, but if you can't see that this Board is the problem then you have already surrendered.
It is clear as day that Tav is no longer the player he was, he does not appear interested and he needs to go. PC is doing himself no favours by continuing to play him but when you own a Business, (and a football club is a business, you either invest in it in bad times or you find a new owner.
Unfortunately, our current Board want to hold on to their Club Blazer and their seats in the Director's Box and watch the Club go into free fall.
This isn't about the supporters surrendering, it is about the people that keep the Club afloat by spending their hard earned cash saying enough is enough!
I don't want to see PC go, I do want to see a change at right back, there is no such thing as sentiment in business and he is no longer a first team player and the Board are a spent force that don't have the wherewithal to take the Club forward.
02 Sep 2024 10:12:20
EHL your deluded if you think a few posts on here change anything, it’s a large section of the fans that are starting to say they want the manager gone.
When have we ever stood by a recent manager that has done so poorly against them regardless of the circumstances.
All I heard last week was patience! Try telling the fans that.

Lads, we're all hurting and angry after yesterday. Clement clearly wanted to see if our young team could go head to head with them yesterday and it didn't work. Hopefully the players and Clement will realise that we're not ready to match them just yet. The only saving grace is that the result (which most of us probably thought was likely) came early doors and not at the business end of the season. Things that are now even more apparent - 1) Tav is at rock bottom and should be stripped of captaincy with immediate effect, 2) Matondo and McCausland are nowhere near good enough, 3) Clement must start playing Sterling in his natural position, 4) Butland needs to improve or get dropped, 5) we need to get two DM's in asap - whether the free agent market is viable remains to be seen, and 6) the fans need to keep letting the players know that lack of effort is not acceptable. Much as we all hate to acknowledge it, that lot know how to execute a game plan and even their average players gain confidence through winning games and harbouring a winning mentality. Let's see how our team progress in the next two or three months once the new players have had a chance to settle eh. I'll continue to give my backing - there's no real alternative than doing so.
02 Sep 2024 10:41:03
To all those spouting about "no surrender" or "may as well give up, It's not us fans who have gave up! considering the amount of support, and money we've given to our team throughout the last 13 years to keep it afloat, we're not the problem. Nope! It's the yellow livered, cowardly players who have given up the ghost who are the problem. Throw in a manager who is clueless, and a board out of their depths, it's no wonder fans have had enough.

Sensible post Still.

Scotty or even cloudy mate.

Who should be held accountable for that performance?
