Enough of the doom and gloom, today brings to the end the first wave of the rebuild and the European draw.
Think the squad will be stronger overall, but with a lot of young inexperienced players it's going to be a bumpy ride.
Hopefully the work the club is doing behind the scenes pays off in terms of fitness, as if we can keep the core of the team fit we'll be amongst it when the trophies are awarded.

Ehl no doom and gloom here mate actually excited about today.

We are not stronger overall, that's just not true. If we sign some quality first 11 starters, then yes, we will be stronger, but, at this precise moment, we're not stronger. Infact, this is the weakest we've been since SG took over!

I think we've done quite well moving out as many players as we have this window.
30 Aug 2024 08:39:24
Sunshine no it’s not. There are still a couple positions that need filled i. e. a centre back and a number 10 but once that’s done then I think we’re in a good place. Our squad has gone from aging players on massive wages who don’t give a F to young lads who are here to improve and win. We’re 2 or 3 away from this being a good window imo.

The best starting 11 is better than last season sunshine, on paper it maybe doesn’t look that way because it’s lesser names etc but lunny, goldson, and the rest were all part of the problem . They won’t be missed and lunny is out of the Turks 11 already.

Totally agree coully.
30 Aug 2024 09:37:54
Sorry but saying last year we were strong is a huge insult.
We have managed to get rid of a fair bit of dead weight.
Sunshine. would you rather Goldson, Lunny, Borna, Wright, Roofe, Jack, Davies were still in our squad? WOW
Jefte, Diomande and Cerny i think will prove to be really good signings. Cortes if he can stay fit.
And Barron, if he keeps o going the way he is then be good be great.

This transfer window is not going to totally transform team but as lads on here noted we have had to shift so much dross and wannabes from this team that it will take time - gut feeling is it will be several windows before we see true progress but some positivity is growing and we ALL need to buy in to the process - pity we don't have Champ L money but looking across city I don't really see too much to fear -we need to be better in midfield vs them on Sunday as that's been our downfall in recent OF games - get right in McGregors face for full 90 - so onwards and upwards - hopefully at least 2 new faces to boost this window would be good - praying this is the start of a new dawn for Rangers and we can have a team who makes us proud once more to follow follow?.

So, david, you're saying that we still need a couple of positions filled then we're in a good place. Is that not what I said? Yip, I think it was! If we don't sign anyone, we are weaker! If we sign quality, who automatically enhance the team, and go straight into the starting 11, we are stronger! It's not hard to understand!
30 Aug 2024 09:47:10
I am agreeing with SS.
30 Aug 2024 09:55:01
Totally agree Sunshine. I think some of the players we’ve signed might make us stronger in the future but today it’s a s***show and we’re going into the first old firm with Tav, Souttar and Lawrence likely to be in our starting 11. It’s heartbreaking to be honest.
30 Aug 2024 11:03:19
It’s not been a rebuild it’s been a downsizing.
30 Aug 2024 11:11:47
We don't know how good these players are yet. we got to trust the process etc koppen etc.
Pmab.

Sunshine is 100% spot on people don’t like the truth on here.
30 Aug 2024 12:25:32
They definitely don't wishy.
