Good business getting in 800k for Wright and Cantwell and wages freed up.
Should be able to bag 2 or 3 players on lower wages now.
Good work from board.

Good business re Cantwell? Seriously? Before window would reasonably be looking at 5-7m. Now any we hope to sell in future for decent money know have a hissy fit and we'll give them away for buttons because we celebrate saving wages. Been a total embarrassment.

I never in a million years thought 5-7m who’s gona pay that for him when his stock is at a similar level to when he signed for us for free? During his time here He’s been shown to be a bit of a trouble maker/ Problem Child! If we are giving him away for 750k the add on will be substantial hear it’s closer to 1.2m, I’m glad he’s gone never wanted him in the first place.

Kaiser I totally agree seems we are offloading on the cheap desperate to free up wages in order to get a couple of loan deals across the line at the last minute not impressed at all, just have hope for tge best but clearly given Beale the last crumbs from the biscuit tin was a humongous mistake.

No mate you just do not get it concerning wages daddy.
30 Aug 2024 07:43:25
Not sure cantwell ever worth more than three million
I’m told we have thirtypercent sell on cappedat two million.

Star read my post it clearly refers to the need to free up wages, book an appointment at Specsavers ?.

Getting him out of our club, and off the wage bill, was great business, however, it doesn't detract from the facts, that kids at nursery school could compile a better business model than us.
As for S Wright, I'll haud my weesht out of courtesy for Seeker. ?.

Value debatable mate but certainly far more than we're getting. Don't believe Beale for a second that he was free but even if he was it was because he was almost out of contract. Was valued much higher. Norwich are due in sell on too so perhaps that was why cheaper. All this talk about saving wages is just try to put a positive spin on things. Obviously if u sell for decent fee then u do both. We may have saved wages this year but we've missed out on good few million between dropping players values and out of contracts. Maybe little choice but hardly good job well done.

??? daddy aye ok you know what you're talking about ????.
30 Aug 2024 08:24:09
my god are some people never happy. a few days ago people were saying rip up his contract and get him out. we got him out and got some return. not great but he is gone and we can now replace.
30 Aug 2024 08:45:44
The most important thing is that he's gone. He won't be welcomed back.

5/ 7 million for cantwell? Only people saying that were clueless guy is a waster.
30 Aug 2024 09:51:42
Lol @ SS? a man of his word. ?.

You're right about wages Daddylonglegs, I'm not impressed with all of these loans. Tells its own story about the state of our finances.

Cheers sunshine. Like to wish Scott and his family all the best at Birmingham. As I've always said, he's had some depressing and unwarranted abuse from our fans when the lad is a decent and honest pro who always gives 100%. Rated by every manager we've had so that's good enough for me. And btw, Oasis are so rank rotten they make my ears bleed ?.

Yes, it was a good bit of business from Blackburns point of view. They got a bargain, who was one of Rangers star turns until P C came along.
