I think this Sunday, you will not see Tav going forward too much apart from free kicks, corners, and penalties.
We can't have him bombing up the wing, when we all know what can happen!

Problem is when he gets isolated as he isn’t a great defender and lacks pace against Maeda, never gets tight enough, big job for Sterling and Cerny to help on that side.
Important Barron doesn't get dragged over there and leaves gaps through the middle. Only way you can avoid it is when we have it, they will target both flanks from the off.

The problem with that is he has been our most creative player so if we restrict him someone else needs to step up . Play Sterling in midfield and have him drop in when Tav goes forward so that there is no big space for them to break into.

Maeda is exceptionally fast and will trouble any FB, Tav is asked to attack so midfield or CB has to cover when he is upfield.

When was the last time he 'bombed forward' against anyone of note?
He doesn't have the legs for that any more, and his goal return will reflect that this year.

i think Tav and Sterling will interchange in the midfield, game against RC at the weekend i had never seen him so central until then. i might be totally wrong but maybe TAV and Sterling doubling up against Maeda.
