He means the other crowd don’t think they need to spend much to win the league as they don’t think we have a good enough squad to push them their fore they will keep their money in the bank instead of spending it

Seen a video of the mutants screaming and shouting at Lawell to spend money. When we get back on top whenever that may be. The meltdown will be absolutely glorious. The top levels of legoland will be a diving board once again.

Yes, the fans will go mad (it's natural), but we're still here, and all we've known for the last 13 years (55 apart) is abject failure! The Tims have got money to burn to ensure any meltdown is temporary, whereas we're scrapping by season after season.

Scrambled I got exactly what you meant mate ? agree as well, they’re in a predicament where they feel they don’t need to spend to beat us but also why spend £20m or £30m to get pumped out the CL group stages and have a bunch of overpaid players playing the rest of the season against Ross county etc. it’s that mentality that will p1ss Brenda off and will also stop them putting a massive gulf between us and them.
Personally I like the look of the team at this stage, I think the centre backs are stronger in their natural positions now that Goldson has left I. e. Souttar on the right centre back side. I also feel there’s a lot more width in our play with Cerny and Cortes/ Matondo which we didn’t always have last year (remember we tried wright, Sterling, Cantwell etc out on that right wing) and it didn’t work. Barron looks like the younger Ryan Jack and with raskin, Sterling, diamonde in beside him we have some options. Would like a 10 and back up striker to Dessers and Danilo.

They will spend but don’t expect it to be figures like they get for O’Reilly, don’t imagine it would be easy to get a player to come to Scotland that was valued at 20 or 30 million anyway.

I agree, they might make a fortune on O`Riley and the CL but they won`t spend a lot of it because they think they don`t have to, to beat us . They`ll bring in a couple of players they can develop who fit in with their wage structure. Playing them at the weekend when they don`t have their best player and no replacement in yet might be a good time for us.
