I do rate him - agree the media are doing a good job putting our club down - always misery with our stories and joyous for the other mob no matter discussion point - the thing is although it may affect some opinions it cannot really change what PC sees day to day. Every other player in the team is better than him at this moment in time if he doesn’t want to play. Clement said himself he gave him a second chance and he said no. Look at the difference between him and Hagis professionalism and it’s night and day.

The boy has talent but doesn't want to show it here - for whatever reason we need him shifted and some return on him - the press and fans can criticise all they want but if he had been producing on pitch regularly then he could have a case but that was not the scenario - another overpaid prima donna who chucks toys out pram when going gets a wee bit tough - definitely the mentality we do not need at Ibrox right now - I trust in Clement to bring grafters and team players with talent to club and not folks who are more interested in how their hair is sitting or what's new on social media or carrying out spats with fans when the true talking needs done on the park -what could have been then Mr Cantwell - you have made your bed.

Cantwell has shown no respect for the support, he only considers himself, and he will find out to his detriment, that he has blown a good chance to show what he should be capable of but isn't because of his own attitude.

Are you cantwells burner account? He’s been posted missing in every single old firm that has mattered. There is a reason fans take to players like Sterling tbey play well in the biggest games. Cantwell doesn’t and his off field antics on exasperate it.

Having a decent game against Livi or St Mirren (no offence), does not make you a great, even a good Rangers player. The great ones do it where it counts, and he is not the only one who lacks that gift.

Hes not playing, yet getting paid big money. If he's not playing then the chances of another team buying him is rather unlikely especially with all our media and fans blasting him.
So do we leave him to run down his contract and collect his wages or do we pay him off/ terminate the contract etc etc.

Absolute nonsense. His behaviour has been down to himself. The gaffer has had issues with him. As for skill, he has it but without a brain for football, his decision making is awful and that reflects in his numbers. The Dundee game we drew at dens was the prime example. We have too much possession for a player like him.
They had everyone in the box we needed to draw them out, but he kept trying to dribble through with the same results. He is no different from them having Shane Duffy. Duffy is a good blocking defender at a team under pressure, but at a possession based footballing team he is the wrong player.
Cantwell and Kent would be better at a team with less possession where the opposition are opened out attacking them, giving space when they get the ball. To Kent's defence, because of this he played better for us in Europe and against Celtic. Cantwell cannot ever say that as his talking is done on-line.

Cantwell had the potential to rebuild his career at Rangers.
He had the platform of Europe to showcase his talent.
And for whatever reason he has failed.
These type of signings are the type that have held the club back in recent years, IMHO.
Talented players who are in the last chance saloon for a reason.
Would much rather have an 'honest' pro who gives you 100% every game and is a steady 7/ 10 than a talented player who gives you the very occasional 9/ 10 but turns in a 4/ 10 most weeks due to inconsistency or lack of hard work.

Best player pushing it. He was bought as impact player and LBH his impact minimal. Then he threw toys out and downed tools and acted like wee boy and asked to leave. PC saw right thru him and please God. Now he's on fringe nobody is exactly banging on our door because they've seen what he's like. He'll be back playing in Conference before long. If Rangers get offered 3m by anybody we should bight hand.

Cantwell can play, but inconsistent. He plays for himself and not the jersey, and thinks he is better than he is.
We need players who play for the jersey and team. Good riddances I say….

In all seriousness, he's nowhere near our best player. I wouldn't even have him in our best 11 if everyone were fit. Has some talent, sure, but inconsistent with it and has personality/ character wise he's a complete bag of jaggies.
In a midfield sense, Barron, Diomande, Raskin and Sterling would all be in my starting 11 before Cantwell got anywhere near it.

when this lad was absent.
Creates a rod for his own back on and off the park.
Probably best for everyone if he were to move on now.

I agree Todd was our best player, oozing class, but unable to deliver consistently. His work rate was top drawer and he has vision, shame to see this happening.

Sutton never stared at anything. As much as I don't have much favour for Sutton, he called Cantwell out for what he is. And that has been proven by Cantwell himself in that he is more interested in likes on social media than winning football games/ trophies.
Sutton didn't force him into putting the shooshburger post on after losing the league and a winning position in the hearts game so sadly Cantwell has brought this on himself.
No doubt he'll go to another club and say the same about us as he did with Norwich when he came to us and make out things happened that were out of order and one day he'll talk about it.
