The Rangers Supporters Association have just released the following statement
Following feedback from our member clubs last week the RSA agreed to participate in the Working Group specifically focused on Rangers Supporters Clubs. However as we stated in our update in July we remain hugely concerned about the general running of the club at board, executive level.
There is constant reference to standards and what is expected at Rangers, at this moment we are falling way below what is required. It seems that every decision, implementation has some sort of incompetence attached to it.
We have no doubt many people at various levels across the club are working hard to address issues, but both they and the wider support demand genuine senior leadership to address the level of mediocrity which seems to have gripped the club.
Across the various boards associated with the club, we need all significant shareholders to work together with the Exec Management Team to ensure we have a better path to success than is currently evidenced.
There is no clear view of the day to day running of the club, the impacts will clearly be felt with the move to Hampden and our failure to qualify for the Champions League.
It is time for our current custodians to deliver, no more blame on others, no more slogan statements and no more ineffective management of our club. We need a clear view and plan of our situation, all senior roles should have dedicated professional managment who can help move us forward and pulling in the one direction.
The Rangers support have been the one consistent over our entire history, but in particular over the past 12 years. We will not stand on the sidelines and continue to accept this standard of management and oversight of our great club.
Time to deliver.

Have to be careful what is wished for when it comes to the board. At least they are Rangers fans. Last time we had non rangers men at boardroom level we had gazebos on the pitch for our AGM.

Its amazing how all the people on here that want Bennett removed still don`t get it . Bennett and a few others have pumped a lot of money into the club, initially to finance our recovery after the demotion and charlatans era and then to back Gerrard building a team to win the league whilst also sprucing up Ibrox and improving the infrastructure and facilities. If we remove him, who replaces him? It would be nice if there was an extremely wealthy Rangers supporter who could pitch in or take over but despite rumours none ever appear. If this turns out to be a year where we make big changes in the playing dept and is tough at times we will just have to suck it up. Like most clubs we need to work hard to achieve success, it is never handed to us.

Yes but nothing wrong with a bit of criticism as long as it’s constructive, Bennett’s own words were total transparency between the board and the fans.

Well that’s a statement and half to be honest
it was well worded
Will we have a genuine response or statement from the board on what’s going on and how we plan on going forward this season and beyond
I think the lack of any statement or press conference to calm the fans fears as it’s not just on here it’s running through the entire Rangers family so I think someone from the club IE bennet needs to come out and explain what we’re planning on doing to move the club forward out of this turbulent time we seem to be in?

The catalyst for the dark mood around Ibrox is, I guess, the closure of the ground for an indeterminate length of time, for what seems like fairly non-critical improvements. The statement doesn't say anything about that, but it is what gives me the fear that those in charge may not be good enough. The statement speaks for a lot of supporters and it is what it is. No-one is arguing with it.

John if he went surely their is contracts in place on how he gets his money back
can’t see him being able to take what ever it is in one sitting
Why would that be agreed any one could do that then
He would get instalments until he’s paid off which I’m sure would have been original agreement
If not then if it happened I’m sure there would be a huge backlash uproar from across the entire Rangers support a wouldn’t like to be Bennet that’s for sure?

if bennett goes and no matter what might be agreed he can take his money. who replaces it, some fans think there are loads of people waiting to chuck money at rangers. it isn't true and even if they did it only buys the shares of the person who owns them not to the club.
