I thought Wright had a good game yesterday, I thought he made good runs, linked up well, unlucky not to score and could have had an assist had Dessers not fluffed it. I thought our tempo dropped when he went off. But yeah you're right Clement obviously likes him. He's a better option than Matondo and McCausland. We need better though. Good squad player.

Scott Wright a good squad player who gives his all for the team. If all played with the same effort as him we would be better off. Obviously big Phil seems something as he is in the squad every game. I doubt he will be getting paid anywhere near what others (who don’t try as hard as him) but escape criticism.

Scott Wright could have the game of his life and would still get it on the neck. Easy target for the boo boys. Not saying he's world class but he puts in a shift.

55 if Dessers had one chance at goal to beat Celtic, would that give you the fear? Look I'm not saying Wright is what we need, we do need better but he did have a good game on Saturday. We all praised the vision and pass from Cerny but if Wright doesn't make that run then Cerny doesn't make that pass so why are we not praising Wright for intelligent movement and play? Credit where its due. Wright did everything right in that move including the finish, he could not have done anymore, the defender done extremely well to get back. He also had the vision to put the rebound on a plate for Dessers. if that move ends in goal it would have been one of the best goals of the season.

Lexi, scott wright was crap. One action a game is not good enough mate. He should be mega involved and hitting numbers to stay in that team. He is subbed off every game.

I'm in no way a scott wright fan, but in terms of wages, he's a better option than matondo who has really disappointed and probably getting twice as much as wright. Also, just about every manager has played him. A lot to be said for a decent attitude, like Dessers v Morelos.

Scott wright shouldn't be starting games for Rangers. He catches the eye when he comes off the bench but as a starter he just doesn't impress for me. i like the boy and I'd keep him as a squad player but he's nothing more than that.

Think it's clear he's been used to fill a gap until others are match fit. He's not holding a starting place and lw is not his natural position. He made way for cerny soon as he was fit and if cortes wasnt injured he'd be lw.

Scott Wright is an excellent squad player. He's probably very cheap wages, can fill in multiple positions. Aye he doesn't set the Heather alight but we need a squad. You can't have a squad full of first team starters.

Wright did have a better game on Saturday. He is also being played out of position. And having to play with a striker that can't finish multiple sitters per game.
If Rangers want to improve then of course we need better. But we need better in nearly every position on the park.

Scoot Wright is a practising magician as he disappeared most of the first half as he did with his test subject Tom Lawrence. Let's hope the paternity test comes back negative Laudrup and we can stop playing him!

Your banging your head off a brick wall, Lexi. Wright will always be the whipping boy on here despite being a decent squad player. As you say, he was very involved in a lot of our good play in the first half and as you say, made a great run and did everything right for his attempt on goal. He couldn't have done any more and then had the wherewithal to pick out Dessers who unfortunately could not score. Very noticeable how poor we were after Wright and Lawrence went off. Never mind it's a good job PC is picking the team instead of the footie managers on here ?.

He would have had an assist if Dessers had not fluffed it? . This was the cutback from Wright after he had rounded the keeper and still couldn`t score. Dessers shot was well saved by the keeper, Wright managed to take out the keeper and still not score. What about all the times where he misplaces passes or wastes crossing opportunity because he can`t lift his head when he`s in possession. Oh, that's right when he does he let's the ball roll over the foot and gives away possession that way as shown in the Cup Final and again on Saturday. He`s hopeless and there are players miles better than him that get stick on here or are being sold when he should have been the first one out the door.
