Going on goals alone, 22 last season a goal yesterday and a potentially tie saving goal last Tuesday. don't consider his misses. If another striker did that for any other team in any other league. How much should we accept if a team were to come in for NGP?

We won yesterday, but if we had dropped more points we would have looked at his misses again yesterday. Just like Motherwell, Ross County and Dundee last year. Which probably cost us the title
Unfortunately, that’s life as a Rangers striker.
He probably wouldn’t get the same level as criticism if he didn’t get the chances. But the fact is he gets loads of chances (which is a credit to his movement and positioning) but his finishing is poor.
And before folk day look at the stats I prefer to watch the game with my own eyes.

He’s started the season well but in order for us to be successful we need far more goals around him. He will miss chances but his ability to get in the position and to keep going shouldn’t be frowned upon. Some games he’ll frustrate the life out of us but if another player steps up then it’s quickly forgotten.

Every player for sale Dado and if a decent bid came init would be excepted, more to do with age than anything else, he doing a good job but his price valuation probably at peak, just the way things are for most of football teams.

Simon Murray Zikos? Be looking at top six at best, he’s a lower league team journeyman, played for both Dundee teams and Ross County that’s his level not us.

Wow 500k and buy Simon murray? i expected some belter responses but holy moly batman, zikos been on a weekender by the sounds of it?. let's revisit the question in January and if he's scored the winners in the next 2 old firms and league cup final and sitting with 10-15 goals see how much he's valued at. lol! Personally i would keep him because although he misses a lot he brings a lot to the team when he's on a game, but if a decent bid comes in with a ready made replacement waiting then it would hve to be done.

Well he scored more goals than Dessers last year (23 in all comps) for a bottom of the league team. Don’t imagine they created more chances than us ?
Obviously it’s said in jest but if Simon Murray was playing at this level at 23 or 24 then yeah he would be better. But just one of those journeymen that have found their groove in the twilight of their career.
And in terms of journeymen. Looking at the clubs Dessers has played for then he’s also a journeyman.
But joking aside, we need better. But unfortunately it looks like we may need to wait until the next window to sort this position. The rebuild is going to take time and PC needs to keep within touching distance to see that rebuild thro.

Zikos, how many of Murrays goals came in the League Cup sections against lower league opponents, quite a few I would suggest. Not a fan of Dessers but that's an unfair comparison .

Think he scored one less goal than Dessers in the league?
I’m not actually advocating we go out and buy Simon Murray but I don't see a lot of difference between the 2 when I watch them play.
For me there is one striker streaks ahead of anything else in the league and he plays in hoops. The rest are pretty much average including Dessers.
That said I don’t think the number 9 is our main issue atm. For me the main issue is the lack of link up play from defence to midfield into attack and our inability to create guilt edge chances.

David good assessment dessers getting in the next but we haven’t got many goals coming elsewhere hopefully cerny can get a few but our midfielders and wingers need to all chip in which isn’t happening.

The problem is that after every game, its the same players getting it tight, Wright, Lawrence, Tav, Soapy, Davies, surely PC must see what we see, add to that Cantwell spitting the dummy and Hagi apparently not interested, Lowery/ Devine limited mins, PC's heid is bursting as much as ours, he's trying, but can't get there if his hands are tied, we are going to hurt some more, seems unavoidable at times, we just need to ride it out, take our bloody nose and keep going, keep the faith??.

Dado_prso if shankland done what? Score 22 goals last season? Or 2 this season? Shankland scored 29 last season, so your obviously talking the 2 this season. A think your the one having a sausage fest over2 goals, it's a long season.
