Best team we could put out in order to win a difficult game like tonight or Celtic etc needs to not be 4231. It simply doesn’t suit our personnel
We need to go 3 in mf or a back 3.
We’re going to get steamrolled in Europe with 2 cm’s n I’ve said it since last season. Others started agreeing lately I’ve seen.

See where you're at Stevie but I've no confidence in Tav bud, first team is possible and could work, but second not with Tav at RB for me bud.

Unfortunately mate we have a manager who will not change his formation. He’s more stubborn than Gio in that aspect. And this isn’t a dig or to say I’m against the manager but it’s pretty clear by now when we have 1 available 10 (Lawrence) he plays him 90 mins. He will play 4231 so we just need to get used to that.

Tav needs to be dropped for a bit and hopefully it gets him back to where he was couple of years ago. Body needs a break he's played more games than any other player. I definitly think he will better for it.

One of our big problems at the moment is Sterling seems to be made of glass. I think he'd be one of the first names down in the teen sheet if he could stay fit, but he can't be relief upon (like so many in recent years) . I've a real worry PC WANTS to play with a 10 like Lawrence to try and with off scraps from long balls, rather than build play through the middle of the park by replacing him with a deeper central midfielder.
Id honestly play Rice in there over Lawrence, and go with Dio and Barron. Our best season (under Stevie G) we played 4 central midfielders regularly, and really prefer that area of the pitch.

Not a chance with Tav he is slower than a cart horse and we will always concede goals down our right, that is how we concede the majority of our goals. We need tav dropped amd a formation change agree with the above.

Agree on 3 in the midfield and whilst I’d be keen for Sterling to be our right back moving forward, I think due to a lack of midfield options we need him in the centre with Barron and Diomande. We (sadly) have worse issues than Tavernier at the moment. We either need to sign a quality No6/ No8 or No10 and let Sterling play RB or sign a better RB than Tav and play Sterling in a midfield 3.

Ok lads, I do accept tav is no use against Celtic.
I’d agree Sterling g at right back against Celtic. Or maybe even balogun could do a job there.
But back 3 isn’t a bad idea btw. We have the players to do it more than the 4231. It doesn’t work.
My opinion is pc won’t see the end of the season.
The results are going to be so poor he’ll be sacked if he doesn’t walk first.
That formation doesn’t work for us
It never worked out for le guen when he refused to be flexible.
Same will happen with ox mark my words.

I know exactly what your saying mate, I just honestly fear the worst for coming season:
PC looks like an honourable man. Just a very stubborn one.
Could see him walk or by mutual consent, he won’t be out of work for long. If he stayed out a poor season with us he could end up like le guen in football backwaters
I’ll be very glad to be proved wrong.
Fork I got that mate and like fruit bear says we need a mf before we can move Sterling to right back in a 4.

Give it to the end of the month before making predictions about clement. Everyone wants Tav out the team including me but if sterlings not available he's forced into that choice.
If we keep changing manager we will never win the league before celtic win 10 in a row. He is going nowhere and who better are we getting? McInnes?

Aye, he's certainly not going to walk after signing a long term deal and no way we're paying anything like 5 million to pay off him and his staff. The only thing we can do is continue to back the manager and get behind the players - ALL of them!
