I just hope to god our supporters give philippe clement the ample time required for this rebuild, as i most definitely think it's going to take a good bit of time, with absolutely no guarantee of the final outcome ? However i do honestly think if we're well behind them heading towards christmas and dropping points to the other teams and not being able to beat celtic, i fear for our manager as it will become untenable for him imo, irrespective of him signing a new contract extension or not ? We have to get these signings before the end of august spot on with no room for error and players that can play for our club and know the pressure this takes ?He has to find players and a system that go hand in hand otherwise i fear this will only end up going one way, which means more upheaval and back to square one and we're never going to get out this rut ?I back our manager but an extremely worried rangers supporter at the same time ?I hope he ca sign the right sort of players that can play in the scottish league ?.

We can’t keep going from manager to manager. It’s clear we’re well behind them in terms of first team quality and also finances and there’s no magic wand. But we can rebuild this team, Ange done it when he came in with that lot so it can be done.

Problem is if the board can’t back him for what we all know what we need and I’m sure PC and his whole coaching team know what we need
They can’t sack him for bad results we have the same defence playing yesterday all be it Goldson missing
Pretty much same midfield with exception of Barron
Not much has really changed to be honest
Same captain
pretty much same choice of players on bench
Weren’t good enough before can’t see that changing
So it’s not really PC fault f results don’t go our way we already know what most of these players produce and show and it’s never been good enough
If it’s going to take 3 windows as some say on that philosophy this season is a right off already and we won’t see a whole proper pc team until end of next summer?

I have a couple of concerns. 1, we need a quality striker and 2, we need a quality creative midfielder. I know this will cost money but, if we can shift cantwell, Hagi and maybe one of our strikers then we won't have such a big outlay. Fingers crossed clement has some quality targets lined up for us or maybe Koppen can work some magic for us.

The fans will only keep patience if they see some sort of progress. If by Xmas we’re playing good football with a visible game plan then the supporters will be far more forgiving than if we get served up the standard of dross we got at the weekend.

I'll be willing to accept being well behind then if we can at least see what we're trying to do, just without the players to execute.
The Ange comparison above being apt. We all laughed at him at first, when he didn't have the players, but we could see what he was trying to do. When he did get the players, including improving many, he won at a canter.
IMO we need to see the same from Clement. We need to see a style, to see what he's trying to do but didn't have the players to execute.
And that's my biggest concern, as I've said before. At the moment I ding thin we see that and I'm not convinced plugging better players into what we're doing just now does for us what it did for Ange.
I agree we can't keep changing manager every 18 months. But I think it's fair to say I have reservations over whether we have the right man for the long term. I need to be convinced, personally.

Sws I agree but I'm reading a lot of fans calling PC out for his style or lack of play, his comments after games and fact he's stubborn on changes so if things continue this way especially all the trouble with the stadium he. ll not be spared I believe and will need to develop a thick skin.

That’s the point. We need to see progress. Right now and for a while we are playing very poorly. Honestly I hardly see any fight in that team.
I watched some of the Dundee derby and some of the players would run through brick walls.
You can buy talent but commitment, endeavour and passion must come within.

Storm how you watched that game but came to the conclusion that tav was the problem and not soapy and Davies is crazy. Think you just mention tav to get a rise out a coops at this point. Tav was far from our worst player. He should go but your favourite dessers can’t score a header from 2 yards out. That will be a problem.

Biggest worry is the clear lack of an actual playing style, the only thing I've been noticing we do is hump long balls forward but get nobody in the box. Oh and playing over the hill Rb's.

I think any fan would give a manager time if the football being played was progressive. We seem to be going backwards from last season. I hope it’s 2 steps back and 3 forward. You can give a manager any amount of time you want but if the results and style aren’t acceptable then that time is up. I don’t see an improvement from the charlatan Beale.

They won’t give him time our fans are toxic, I expect us to lose to dynamo and Celtic coming up, I think we may have an outside chance for league if we can stay pretty close to Celtic, we could be a different animal come end of august with new signings on way, time will tell I suppose.

Raskin obviously you can’t read as I have had a go at Tav for his performance since Saturday and before so you are in fact wrong again. Tav side was cut open 3 times in 1st 10 mins of the game at weekend. Maybe open your eyes. ?.
