So it's an aspiration to get back to Ibrox by end of Sept but chairman can't guarantee we've still 2 shipments of steel to be delivered before work can finish. Why can't we source the steel closer to home? PC also told chairman in May the job is bigger than he thought and that was ref to not as expected comments.

I also note we intend to appoint a CO.

The good news is tho once its all here it should only take 5 days to complete.
29 Jul 2024 19:34:41
John, are you more hopeful after the chairman's comments?
29 Jul 2024 19:40:02
Paul I was going make a comment about the five days mate, then remembered someone said that on here.

It’s bought and paid for why would we source more onewalter? Why are fans still asking these questions what down is done we get on with it.

Not really, he only clarified things most People knew.

Should have been we can't sustain losses of 10m before you add in transfers every season and its good that loss is being eradicated.

He’s not going to guarantee anything after the issues we’ve had. Sounded to me like a message to fans to say ‘we know we need to win but if we don’t, PC ain’t going anywhere in Oct like Gio and Beale’ we need some change, can’t have this manager merry go round again.

I ask storm because we've never had a satisfactory answer.

I said right at the beginning of the stadium delays that our first game back at Ibrox would be St Johnstone on October 5. That was relayed to me by a senior club official as being the realistic target.
The chairman's words seemed to also point towards that. I also think Bennet came across as sincere in his efforts towards stabilising the club and the finances. Remember guys, the two most powerful warriors are patience and time. Be patient, our time will come.

Onewalter do you seriously think that if the steel could be sourced locally and for the same price we wouldn’t have purchased it, or are you suggesting the Govan branch of B&Q would have been the first stop if you were running the project. I just find some of the questions on the construction project baffling to put it politely.

The steel takes months to cut drill and weld. Ours is already made we’re just having trouble getting it to Glasgow. Why would we go elsewhere and wait months for it to be made again? If it was cheaper to source the material here I’m sure our club would have done that. The full construction industry is having the same problems it’s not just at ibrox.

Are you going to big up this next appointment way you did bisgrove?
