I don't understand the abuse Dessers gets, he scored 22 goals and had to play nearly every game due to injuries. He did miss chances like every striker does, look at Ally he missed his fair share, he gave everything with his work rate and scored a lot of important goals, if he goes he will be missed. I think the abuse he got was terrible at times, and if he moves wish him all the best.

20 odd grand a week and “ had to play nearly every game” wow, you think he should have had some weeks off mate, he’s nowhere near good enough for winning titles or europe, he will score because he plays for rangers and his entire life is spent in the box where everything is aimed at him, he doesn’t get abuse, people are on here to give opinions and he gets as good posts and bad, like every player in every league in the world.

Hendo, he won’t be missed. He’s awful!
No one on here will ever criticise his application, work rate or attitude.
But he is a shocking finisher. He missed several chances last season that was actually harder to miss!
I’m n the game against Ross County which was one of the ones that cost us the title, he hit it out the stadium from 8 yards! Think about that. Not over the bar - Out the stadium. A worse finisher you won’t find.
He’s he did score goals but most of those come off his back, the back of his head or his shin.
Sorry but he’s awful, and if he had spent £4M on Shankland in January we could have made £40M from the champions League. Now it’s unlikely that we’ll even qualify.

Dessers is not the standard we require at Rangers. To take 9 opportunities a game to score 1 is ludicrous. Move him on wish him well and bring in btr and we go again ??.

My unease is the number of players we publicly target, then we have end up with egg on our faces when they sign for other clubs or we don’t manage to sign them. Why are we doing business like this, it makes us look unprofessional and sloppy. Do the business, get players signed then release the names when the business is concluded. Koppen is not delivering on his promises so far, disappointing ?.

22 goals is a good return for a striker that doesn’t take pens .
He wasn’t the reason we didn’t win the league it was the other players not chipping in with enough goals other than Tav and sima.

Hendo I'd wish the guy all the best but I'd be delighted to see him go, he runs all day? So would I but you wouldn't want me as our main striker, scores important goals? When? he has zero pace, touch, strength, he wants way too many touches, misses loads of chances, put simply he's not good enough.

Absolutely shocking opinions regarding Dessers. Some wish him gone, terrible finisher, misses far to many etc etc. Be careful what you wish for. 22 goals without penalties is an excellent return. He will improve on that if given the chance.

He’s not a bad player and scored some important goals. But for the money we paid / are paying we need better value for money with our budget.

Far too slow my Gran could have scored 22 goals for rangers last season. But wish the boy well if he leaves.
