Watched last 5 mins of eastenders and the camera kept going to a giant poster on a wall, not football related but had the word RANGERS on it 5 or 6 times it went to the poster but only focused on the word RANGERS, if you were a Tim watching that episode you would have been well peed off. It actually looked like the camera guy or gal was rubbing it right in to any timmys who just happened to be watching.

FFS I've just read a article by Davie provan claiming us rangers fans would not be clamouring for the heads of ryan kent and morelos if they had broken the C.V. rules the same way we are about Jones and Edmondson, well i would like to say this to him, it makes no difference who the player or players are, we rangers supporters are human beings first and I'm sure everyone of us would condemn any player regardless of the level they play at. I really don’t understand these folk saying, ‘you wouldn’t be having such a go at these players if it were Tav or Morelos or Barasic etc etc’. The point is, it WASN’T those players. Probably because they are acting professionally and are listening to what Gerrard and everyone else at the club has told them and are following the rules. So it’s a ridiculous point! I think just about every rangers fan could of guessed as soon as we heard two players had breached the lockdown rules that one of them was going to be Jones, because he’s proven himself to be unprofessional in the past.
It’d be like sitting in court and the defence lawyers argument to the jurors being ‘well surely Members of the jury you won’t want to send my client to prison for this murder because what would then happen if you were to murder someone, you’d have to go to prison too! ’.

the club i worship everywhere! I work in an hospital and have witnessed the devestation of C.V. and had the terrible virus myself and i can assure YOU, that if it was kent, morelos or whichever rangers player that broke these rules, which are in place for a very good reason, i'd be saying the exact same thing, as i said when i heard about jones and edmondson breaking the very serious C.V. rules, ie. make an example and get shot of them. They knew the rules and both aren't wee school kids! So mr. provan and you for that matter don't speak for me, let's get that straight mate!

Snell, the reason is that you set a precedent by calling for anyone who breaks the rules to be sacked.

IMO there has been a complete overreaction on here partly because of the two players involved.

If there had been a quiet get together to celebrate a win in similar circumstances and 6 of our first team including McGregor and Davis were caught I don’t believe there would be the same reaction.

Going by the midfield position zungu took up when he came on yesterday and his style of play, i would think zungu will be the longterm replacement for the fantastic steven davis.
Zungu also like davo plays with his head up and looks able to find his man, with a long range raking passing ability he looks like he has in his locker, just like davis 👍.

Bongo seems good. Looked like he had playing with us for months. His passing was tremendous. Think it was 92% complete. Read that we've agreed with Amien 2.7 million if we want to sign him. Seems like it might be worth it, but we'll need to see him against better opposition first. 55 is one day closer.

I agree bankie, that gerrard/ wilson will most definitely offer the evergreen steven davis a new one year deal and rightly so! No one ever knows for definitel how long any player can continue playing for, as its down to staying mostly injury free and especially major injuries at that. If wee davo fingers crossed 🤞 avoids any major injuries, i truly think he can remain part of our rangers squad, for at least another couple of years. He's almost 36 years old now and imo could remain part of our squad until at least 38 years old. All we would do is gauge it with davo year after year and keep offering him one year deals 👍He's still a wee gem of a midfielder 👌.

Yip he looked the Bart also another good option defending and attacking set pieces which is a big part of our play now. I think, especially in Europe, he could sit in front of the back 4 and really do a job. Him Davo and kamara could be a great partnership, backed up by jack. Kent and Morelos up front leaves that one more position to be fought over by arfield aribo roofe n Hagi it’s Exciting times.

Guess we should be looking to replace at least 3 first team players for next season.

McGregor, Defoe and Davis will be gone or not able to play as much. Kamara, Aribo, Kent, Morelos, Tav, Helander and Barasic will be targeted by other clubs and we will have to accept big money for at least 2 players if we win the league.

If Lundstum and Fergusson are in the mix it would be unusual recently given our recent news blackout on targeted players.

He has many, many miles to go before he can be considered as being in the same league as Davis. He merely showed half a game of decent passing against absentee opposition, so maybe we should show some caution before making such animated judgements.

We all knew that Rangers were a lot better than Celtic as previous old firm games will confirm, but I never thought we were that far ahead of them.

We almost dominate every game we play including Europe and look good doing it, I think we should be more than nine points ahead and the goal difference is getting better every other week.

My only worry is staying virus and injury free, other than that I see no reason for our good play to stop any time soon.

Celtic have had it too easy over the last few years and don't like us being back to where we belong.

In Gerrard we trust.

Is tav the best rb in the world at the moment, top scorer in the league, top assists and not conceding goals. He has turned into captain marvel and we are on course for 55. The team play the same way no matter what team King Gerrard picks and we are so strong this season, don't forget some of our players have not reached top gear yet. I Gerrard we trust.

Although I’ve not been a tav bashed myself, in the past I could understand why some people did criticise him as mistakes were regular and he wasn’t scoring like he had previously and is now.
I think it’s fair to say that this season he is pushing himself and his standards through the roof, he’s acting like a leader and a captain and long may it continue, really hope he lifts 55 this year for himself and all of us because we have been through tough tough times as a fan base and club. looking good at the moment though.

Not sure that Tav has upped his game all that much.

Ok he has a few less errors but overall the difference is how the whole team are playing. Everyone knows their role and what to do in every situation.

Tav is spending more time in the opposition box than in his own meaning that his defensive duties are covered by a midfielder slotting in. How many called out his defensive frailties because he was out of position?

One player doesn’t make or break a team.

In past I’ve said on here Tav does but have the leadership attributes to be club captain and pressure of be being captain having negative impact on his game. Still not convinced he is captain material but must say he is really playing well and at top of his game. Long May it continue.
