Just seen English Woman's football, exact same coverage on TWO separate channels. Woman's football bad enough, not top notch, but having to watch on two separate channels would make you want even Germany to win. If this was Scotland Lucky to make cheuchter channel.

09 Nov 2019 19:47:01
Why on earth did bbc scotland show it. it was already on bbc2? Just weird.

10 Nov 2019 08:51:46
MBW, I am surprised Ed’s let you away with that comment about women’s football in this world nowadays. Any time I commented on a horrendous women’s World Cup the post was binned and I was only being honest ✌️.

{Ed033's Note - I would imagine they will keep promoting women's football and as more money goes into it, more males will pretend to be females and join women's football. So we'll end up with all men women's football teams (at the higher levels of women's football), which will improve the football.

Not joking or trying to offend, but what other scenario do people see with the future of women's football?

10 Nov 2019 09:37:18
Have to admit that I can’t be doing with the constant promotion of the women’s game especially by the BBC.

Women’s matches get more attention than SPL matches on their website.

I’m not interested but feel it is being thrust in our faces.

10 Nov 2019 09:11:52
Careful Millerbrandwilson, you might affect our friends in the north!

10 Nov 2019 10:15:05
maybe the will allow 2 male players in each team. i mean after all is it right in this day and age to have totally seclusion just because of your gender. and i would say yes if someone who was good enough to play in the first team regardless of sex/ gender then why not but they need to be good enough not just allowed because it is the correct thing to do.

10 Nov 2019 10:15:28
and before i get hammered a lot of that was said tongue in cheek.

09 Nov 2019 18:23:38
A few rumours doing the rounds that Arsenal are looking at Gerard should Emery lose his job. Now, hopefully they are just rumours, however what do you folks think, should Gerard stay us with us or does he view doing a good job with Arsenal over a couple of seasons as a quicker route back to Liverpool? He must be looking at Lampard who, after a decent job with Derby now has his dream job at Chelsea. As I said, hopefully their only rumours.

09 Nov 2019 20:17:05
What if SG did go to arsenal and it all went pete tong? It would probably ruin his chance to manage Liverpool. I heard klopp was going to leave Liverpool in a couple of years. SG wins the league, cup, manage gers into the champions league. Leave when Liverpool come calling.

10 Nov 2019 08:52:06
As you say, they are just rumours, and not very believable ones at that. Klopp is at Liverpool for as long as he wants to be, never mind leaving in 'a couple of years'. If it does happen sooner rather than later, they will replace him with a manager with a great European pedigree, which will NOT be Stevie G. He'd become the next but one.

If (most likely scenario) Klopp gives them another three or four years and Gerrard has a good measure of success with us, then he'll be in line for the Liverpool job. Nothing to do with looking wistfully at Lampard, just that Liverpool are now back to where they believe they belong and will be planning to stay there, and apart from a couple of other teams in England, none are bigger than Rangers, are not guaranteed European football like Rangers, and don't have the fan base of Rangers.

If Klopp looks like he's there for the long haul, I'd be more concerned about losing Gerrard to a top European team for a couple of seasons before Anfield calls.

10 Nov 2019 09:42:38
By the time klopp does leave SG could well have a 'european pedigree' managing gers. Not sure your 'likely scenario' is any true/ valid than rumours 😉.

10 Nov 2019 15:42:48
That's exactly what I said, if, in three or four years he develops that sort of pedigree, he will be in line for the Liverpool job. Thank you for agreeing with me, mrgrumpy.

#comebackcoop

Still waiting on his triumphant return!

On a serious note
Come back coops.
I genuinely miss reading your posts.
Don't always agree with them but you wear your heart on your sleeve and rangers through and through. 🔴⚪🔵.

#Come back SGL/ Supercoop, you know you want too.

09 Nov 2019 16:27:17
January movers. Greg Docherty, Jamie Murphy, Grezda, Andy King? Can we think of anymore? 🇬🇧.

09 Nov 2019 17:00:01
Hererra. kamara maybe if someone comes up with decent coin for him.

09 Nov 2019 17:42:18
Yately foderingham, Alnwick, firth, Halliday . Leeds very interested in Ross Mccrorie.

09 Nov 2019 17:57:03
Tav as well.

09 Nov 2019 20:45:05
Surely can't punt all 3 subby keepers? Haha think halliday could be done with being shifted on now tho. no place for him.

09 Nov 2019 21:44:07
Yes we can, get our new guy in January and bed him in. Like we did with Kamara.

09 Nov 2019 22:29:06
Paul86 - can see halliday v livi on Sunday?
You sure?

10 Nov 2019 06:33:32
Bar72 i hope not. Both flanagan and barasic are better than him don't see the point in playing 3rd choice left back.

10 Nov 2019 14:00:16
Bar72. yes sure. as said no room for halliday. Waste of a wage.

09 Nov 2019 16:04:41
Hi
Why can't the Celtic fans be honest for once about Alfredo Morelos, and just admit he is a good player and goal scorer.

Everyone else knows he is the best striker at the moment in Scotland and is still improving every year.

If the Celtic fans say Morelos is rubbish then their striker must be a lot worst, even though I think he is quite good.

Even if/ when he goes on to break all scoring records and sells for a record price, Celtic fans will not give Morelos the credit he deserves.

We love him and although we badly need the money, I would be happy if he changed his mind and stays, we would struggle to find someone as good to replace him.

I think Celtic would love to have him in their team.

in Gerrard we trust.

09 Nov 2019 16:08:18
Could give me a monkeys what any of them say about him or if they rate him to be fair mate.

09 Nov 2019 16:37:15
Because they lack intelligence and they're obsessed mate.

09 Nov 2019 17:40:49
Where is the relevance.

09 Nov 2019 19:36:43
They don’t need to say bc we know they rate him. I’ve seen a bunch laughing on social media saying he’s going in January which obviously tells us that they rate him, otherwise they wouldn’t be bothered if he was leaving or not.

09 Nov 2019 21:21:06
Guys, no need for concern, Morelos will not be going anywhere in January, not my words - Steven Gerrards. We will win the league this year, not Gerrards words - mine!

Ranking Football Games

09 Nov 2019 12:23:08
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Ranking Football Games

09 Nov 2019 12:01:29
Would like to see a settled side against Livi but wonder if we will go for some height in the middle. The first and second ball will be in the air a lot hence the head knocks last time. Think I said for another game I would put big Goerge just in front of our 2 center backs to deal with the bouncing ball. If we can snuff out the initial physical phase of the play and give it to our footballers we should be okay but we must match the physicality or it could be another nervy watch.
4132

Magregor
Tav Goldson Katic Borna
George
Jack Davis Kamara
Morelos Kent.

09 Nov 2019 12:30:17
i like that thinking TJ

i’d be happy with that edmundson is also comfortable on the ball so can sit deep midfield and dictate play.

09 Nov 2019 13:07:08
Av got a sneaky feeling he will play same formation as we have always done.

09 Nov 2019 15:47:35
Would think we will try and play our usual possession football, if we can do this we will be in control. Teams can’t hurt us if we have the ball.

09 Nov 2019 16:22:56
The problems is they hurt us physically the last time, Aribos head smashed in, hospitalized and out for a few weeks, I think Goldosn and Helander had busted noses. Possession football or not they will be in our faces. I for one don't want to loose any player to injury through their poor play and tactics particularity our game changers better to have some sort of protection. let's face it the refs don't protect our players but quick enough to book someone for petulance. Livi know if they try and play football they will be owned so we know what's coming, why bring a knife to a gun fight, get big George on.

09 Nov 2019 17:01:43
We were actually lucky last time at livi. They should have had a couple if i remember right. balls straight down middle of defence.

09 Nov 2019 17:32:49
Do we play our most physical players then? Change our tactics? Turn it into a battle, see if we can beat them by being more physical? 🤔 naw.

09 Nov 2019 18:27:41
I think your missing my point. They will be physical and keep the ball in the air as much as possible. They will try and win all second balls and turn us over and hope for set pieces high up the park. We must counter that by getting to the second ball and then getting it on the deck and to our good players further forward. If we don't have a ball winner in the middle then how can we put together forward play. Our midfield will not win an areal battle with their taller aggressive players. Porto played a similar tactic on Thur by putting big Danilo in front of the centre backs to great effect, he won most of the ball and instigated most attacks it was only when buff was asked to man mark him in the second half we gota bit of joy in the final third. Livi don't have a buff so we don't have to worry about that. What i'm saying is just a minor one player tactical tweek not a whole sale change in formation, squad, tactics etc. let's face it though what do I know sweet FA. let's just hope for a comfortable win and no injuries. Would like to see George though, LOL.

10 Nov 2019 11:00:58
is buff not about a foot shorter than Danilo, sorry i don't follow your point then.

09 Nov 2019 08:44:57
First time post. Been a reader for a wee while.
With both halves of the Old Firm doing well in Europe who would be keen to see an Old Firm Europa League final?
That would mean up to 7 matches against them. If we had to lose 3 and win 3 which ones would you want to win?

09 Nov 2019 09:23:17
Could win euro final. lose all other aslong as we win the league. Oh snd cup next month.

09 Nov 2019 10:32:55
An Old Firm Europa League final may not be out of the question, but still in the competition are teams like:

Sevilla
Sporting Lisbon
Arsenal
Espanyol
Man Utd
Wolves
Roma
PSV

Not impossible though. I put £5 on Gers to win the Europa League at the start at 80/1, so it would be sweet to win that and beat the unwashed in the final too! William Hill has Arsenal 5/1 favourites, Gers are 66/1 and Celtic 40/1.

09 Nov 2019 11:01:17
Calm down, we still have to qualify. Been in this situation before and blown it, hopefully this time we get over the line.

09 Nov 2019 11:29:28
Im bad enough during a normal old firm, think I would need a sedative for a final like that. For the original question like some others would loose all as long as we got the league.

09 Nov 2019 11:31:23
Yes an old firm final is definately never going to happen. Mind all the teams coming from champs league also.

09 Nov 2019 11:55:54
Correct cuillin - we are doing great stuff and going most definitely in the right direction, but we have won nothing yet and can still blow it.

09 Nov 2019 12:18:09
4 points from the last 2 group games will be enough. Taking 4 points from our double-header against Porto was more than I expected I must admit.

09 Nov 2019 12:25:16
Yes Paul86, I forgot about the CL teams parachuting back down to the Europa League!

09 Nov 2019 13:08:09
Doiger 3 points is enough. don't think its possible to go out on 10 points. Celtic got put out on 9 b4 but 10 don't think is possible.

09 Nov 2019 15:51:56
I'm sure a draw in Rotterdam does us if young boys beat porto. because best Porto/ Feyenoord could do is equal points with us and we would win via head to head?

09 Nov 2019 00:36:32
Thinkin 10 mil should be kamaras price on the current market. Top team level and European regular. We've got to sell our players for the right price. bang average English championrubbish players can go for more. the fur.

09 Nov 2019 10:37:52
Too low. We shouldn't accept less than £15m, if someone wants him. He's a Finnish international and one of their best players at that.

09 Nov 2019 15:14:40
Agree with master, closer to 15m.

Review Of The Day 9th November 2019

{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Review Of The Day 9th November 2019

09 Nov 2019 08:01:38
Can I ask why a lot of our support are wanting to sell morelos we need this exceptional young player in our team I know we will eventually sell him but their is no rush guys enjoy him while he’s with us we could not afford to pay for a replacement of this guy’s talent I truly believe he’s the nearest we will ever get to the wonderful M. Mols BIG BUFF Must stay 🇬🇧.

09 Nov 2019 09:25:32
Nobody wants to sell him? . but we are realistic as he has already basically said he wants to move to EPL. So obviously we want to get as mich cash for him as we can. But if it was up to the fans and not alfredo wanting to further his career then he would be at ibrox forever if up to the fans.

09 Nov 2019 09:28:16
Is there many folk wanting him sold? Most seem to be discussing how much he could sell for rather wanting him sold.

09 Nov 2019 10:08:18
Thetinman, where are you getting this information from? I know of nobody wanting Morelos to leave.
