Hey fellow bears what's your thoughts if we manage to win next 2 games the sheep and killie.

Then it will be down to the unclean on the 1 million pound paddy field.

If we win it then it will be down to 4 points with them still to come to ibrox so keep the team and squad as is and go for it.
If we don't win it imo SG should be giving at least 2 of our young boys a start in the remaining games. I don't go for all this single fish that they are not ready . We will never know unless we try them and not just in a cameo 15 min sub. Give them full games.

09 Mar 2019 19:36:41
imo the league is over for us with the unwashed slipping up today we had to win last night i can't see us beating them at the methadrome but hopefully 3 points at ibrox hope i'm wrong but our season lies in the hands of the scottish cup.

09 Mar 2019 19:59:57
Ifs and buts, if I had a quid for everytime I read a post on here where someone says if we win this game and that game and they lose this or draw thatšŸ™ƒšŸ‘.

10 Mar 2019 00:08:40
Would be down to 5 points Stewart.

10 Mar 2019 01:49:34
If we win all these games, it will be down to 5 not 4.

The season has been full of ifs.

If yer auntie had baws, she'd be yer uncle.

That would of course depend upon how she actually identified.

She could be, with hawmaws female, or without hawmaws male.

Whatever was his/ her decision, then personally, I would respect it.

Cooliballet fkn peach am fpmsl šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘.

10 Mar 2019 09:02:27
Brilliant Coolballet, think you would even let her play striker!

10 Mar 2019 09:56:35
Good post Coolatballet
Changed days fay when I was a kid if you were a boy and you presented as anything other than a boy
You got a soar set of baws.

09 Mar 2019 18:56:43
Holy Donald duck, the sheep drew. Maybe they have more than 4 games in them a season.

09 Mar 2019 18:44:23
Should Morelos leave in the summer, are there a few strikers Rangers could possibly look at to sign in the summer?

Possibilities could be:
1- Sam Lammers
2- Neil Maupay
3- Oliver McBurnie
4- - Eddie Nketiah (loan)
5- Patrick Bamford

Other possible loans could be:

Charlie Austin
Danny Ings
Marek Vydra

Also Giovanni dos Santos currently without a club.

10 Mar 2019 00:10:44
Brentford were asking 20 m for maupay in jan scrub that off. Couldn't afford ings or Austin wages.

10 Mar 2019 07:33:27
Swansea quoting 8-10 million for mcburnie
England not our market for quality strikers.

10 Mar 2019 09:40:17
Patrick bamford has consistently struggled for fitness and goals wherever he's been so not him.

10 Mar 2019 13:23:54
england isn't a market we should buy from, its the market we should sell too. we need another morelos ie uncover a gem, does the business and sell on after a couple of seasons.

we cannot replace like for like because we can't afford it and the other point even if you paid 10M for a striker there is no guarantee he would do it in our league.

wonder how may goals Morelos would have if he had the likes of a young laudrop serving him crosses.

09 Mar 2019 17:59:36
People questioning why we would be interested in signing shinnie - last night was another example of the lack of leadership within our squad . Game should have been out of sight but yet again for the umpteenth time this season we let the opposition equalise. Whilst we are shopping in the north east I would also pick up McKenna and spend the next coupe Of months scouting a no10 and a replacement for morelos.

09 Mar 2019 18:37:07
I have been saying for ages that we need a leader.

09 Mar 2019 18:38:46
Still don't think we'll sign shinnie and i won't change my mind from the fact, that i don't think we need him.

09 Mar 2019 18:40:13
For me shinnie is a good player for Aberdeen but is he any better than what we currently have we have jack mccorie kamara rossiter coulibaly who can all play in that position in centre of park.
Do we really need to add another defensive minded player in the middle of the park i would say no.
Unless we use him as a left back i don't think we need him in the team.
We should look to trim the squad in the summer and use some of our younger players as backup players this would allow us to free up wages to sign better first team players.

09 Mar 2019 18:57:15
If he was to sign, I'd imagine it would be to improve the overall squad. I mind a lot of folk questioned the signing of jack. He turned out okay. Don't think it is a big risk to sign shinnie, he wouldn't need a crazy wage. It would make the sheep weaker and raging as well.

09 Mar 2019 20:01:54
How can you say we don't need a player like shinnie when half our own team don't have half the bottle he has? šŸ™ƒšŸ‘.

10 Mar 2019 00:14:11
Graeme shinnie wouldn't have helped last night, it's more help putting the ball in the net we need.

10 Mar 2019 09:00:42
Trueblue, I've been saying for ages, WE HAVE A LEADER he's called Gerrard, if he had wanted to close the game down he would have and should have. Its not down to the captain to decide when to stop the full backs bombing forward its down to the manager. If Mcrorie was on the bench then there is the substitution right there Arfield for Mcrorie and if they equalise with that formation put Defoe on then.
Our manager has no tactics at all and I defy anyone on here to tell me i'm wrong.

10 Mar 2019 09:05:08
Davis, Coulibaly, Dorrans, Holt and probably Rossiter out, Shinnie and Docherty in.

10 Mar 2019 13:26:11
i guarantee if we signed Shinnie he would get redcarded every game in a rangers top.

10 Mar 2019 18:46:34
No sure how many time i have to say McKenna has no interest in joining Rangers. The money they wsnt for him we also cannot afford him.

09 Mar 2019 17:56:43
Hopefully Tic Sheep draw indication of square baws future tenure at piggery. Last night disappointing but not unsurprising at mo. What did disappoint me was post yesterday warning SG if we don't win league next year his ass is grass. This is pure fear of 10 in a row and it is not an ethical comparison. This is in no way a juxtaposition between SG and Liverpool but pool ain't won league in twenty years. I'm more than prepared to allow SG time to make discernable difference.

09 Mar 2019 22:21:01
See to be honest if we get 9 in a row, I wouldn't be surprised if you's spend big money to stop us getting 10 in a row.

I think that season will see serious money spent by both sides of old firm, us trying to win and you's trying to stop. Will be a good season of football.

09 Mar 2019 17:03:01
More dropped points last night then they go and drop points today, typical. far too inconsistent, need to get that sorted.

09 Mar 2019 17:55:46
I agree but we need to invest in the summer
I am far from convinced by the defence. Looking at the summer we could be building a new team again
Letā€™s hope we win the cup as I still think the league is a bridge to far, I hope I am wrong.

09 Mar 2019 18:25:56
Last season we conceded 50 league goals to date 21 this season.
The problem is we need more goals from midfield and wingers.

10 Mar 2019 00:16:38
Totally agree jboy, for all Kent brings to the team his decision making around the opposition box is still pretty poor. tries to walk it in too much.

10 Mar 2019 01:35:56
Our defence would be even better if Katic got a game in front of Worrall.

10 Mar 2019 08:59:00
I struggle with the Worrall comments recently. It's the same with Tav.

It seems like certain fans pick a fault or mistake from a previous game and tar a player with it for the rest of the season.

Worrall has been our most solid defender over the last 5 or 6 games. Tav improved significantly his defending from beginning of season.

If morelos not scoring, we don't have enough others contributing, that's the real problem.

10 Mar 2019 10:02:24
Moles 73
Warroll is a strange one I donā€™t see what makes him stand out am sorry I think he is bang average at best
Katich should be playing.

09 Mar 2019 17:01:41
For what it's worth (from a Tim) Disgusted by the actions of that wee coward towards Tavernier. It doesn't sell our game well. Football is football and if anyone of us (irrespective of team or affiliation) was attacked at our place of work we would be up in arms. Support your team, if you want to fight. Take up boxing. And RIP Eric Caldow. Before my time but heard what a good guy he was. Legends are legends.

09 Mar 2019 17:23:18
Well said my friend.

09 Mar 2019 18:13:58
Well said lad, hibs have been disgracefull for years now. Wee neds most of them.
Scottish football is finished unless we can start to behave at games. Even our fans with the throwing of seats at the seagul shack. What if that hit a wee kiddy, pure cowardly scumbags.

09 Mar 2019 17:00:06
caught a break.

09 Mar 2019 14:47:34
Jordan rossiter starts seventh game in a row, getting lots of 90 minutes in.

09 Mar 2019 18:26:45
Rossiter another 90 minutes, seven games in a row.

09 Mar 2019 14:02:30
Man Utd had 3or 4 youngsters in squad for champions league match with psg why isn't Gerrard using three or 4 of our 17 year olds now in Scottish matches.

09 Mar 2019 14:48:13
6 counties because they are not ready.

09 Mar 2019 17:20:38
If the players we have at academy were ready and good enough they would be playing simple as that. mccrorie, Middleton have had game time up to the rest to show they are capable.

10 Mar 2019 09:44:53
Man Utd also played a 70m striker, should we do the same? We shouldn't just put youth players in because another team has a bit of success, doesn't relate in any way at all.

09 Mar 2019 11:48:13
Letā€™s see what Aberdeen can do today before we start conceding the league. 7 points as it stands, still to play them twice.

I guess Iā€™m clutching at straws but who knows.

09 Mar 2019 13:01:56
If you think we can still win the league then you havenā€™t been watching us. The players donā€™t have the mental strength to mount a challenge. We havenā€™t been able to put any sort of run together and too many performances have been lacklustre. You could see last night Hibs were going to score just like they did at Ibrox. Too many players hide when it gets tough.

09 Mar 2019 13:50:05
Arthur D, your spot on mate, we're just far too inconsistent to win the league, in what is a 38 game marathon. Hope under steven gerrard,
we can improve again next season,
kick on and become more consistent over the team having more mileage together and better players added in the summer! Its not actually losing games this season that's undone our league challenge, its the fact we've had far too many draws! Like Arthur D says, we just can't seem to go on a long run of winning games. At times when we do win 2 or 3 in a spin, we think here we go, then we self destruct and draw a couple or so, in a row. As the old saying goes, its like 2 steps forward and 3 steps back! I do however think consistency will come, under steven gerrard, as our manager! The replay against the sheep on tuesday is so important and now our season defining game! let's go and beat this mob! Onwards and upwards!

09 Mar 2019 13:55:01
We are not getting the breaks, there is no way Aberdeen should have got a penalty as Goldson had drawn his leg back to strike the ball and the Aberdeen player just put his foot in front of Goldsons who could not even see the Aberdeen player. As for last night, Hibs should have been down to 10 men early doors and had at least 1 other player sent off. Some of the crosses after good build up play was woeful and shooting practice is badly needed by most rangers players.

09 Mar 2019 17:33:11
I agree in general the only luck we seem to get is bad but SG hit the nail on the head last nigjt. We would have been streets ahead in this league if we'd converted domination into goals. Good sheep draw at their place today still leaves the door slightly ajar. You never know, a couple of rotten performances from them (and we all know they are capable of them) but with their opposition nicking it in injury time instead will make things very interesting. I'm convinced Lennon will crack under pressure and if that happens you never know. But we need to take care of business our end to have any chance at all. Cut out the sloppiness at the back and take the chances when they come.

09 Mar 2019 17:43:28
It was a stonewall pen davidsmithšŸ‘.

09 Mar 2019 11:35:04
Time to reflect .

The league is over but Celtic haven't had to work hard for it again . After every two or three games it's the same shpeal .

We need a reaction that's been Gerrards post match interview all season .

Far too many times we have seen different teams turn up .

Glad all the title talk can stop now and hopefully we get lucky in the cup .

I think we will finish second but that's not an achievement so far this season the highlight was being back in Europe I would back our manager and give him another year .

This season has not been good enough .

Finishing second is not an achievement.

09 Mar 2019 15:30:28
Aw give yourself peace. SG has had to build at team from scratch. This is his first season as a proper manager, so he is bound to make mistakes.
We have lost the same amount of games as that mob across the city. The only difference in the league is that we have drawn 5 more games than them and in at least 4 of those draws we have been robbed by poor refereeing decisions.
I fully believe had var been avail this season we would be sitting 2 points behind that mob.

09 Mar 2019 16:36:07
Stewartyblue - if SG won the league by 10 points there would be Rangers 'fans' on here complaining that it should have been by 11 points.

As you stated this is his first year and tbh he should not be judged on this one but next year.

He is a rookie manager and is making rookie mistakes - this is what happens when a manager with little or no experience is brought in.

I fully support SG and I fully support his team. SG knows what needs to be done and I fully expect him to rectify it.

09 Mar 2019 17:03:07
I canā€™t accept mediocrity I'm a Rangers man

Blaming referees is just an excuse

They drew with the sheep today so another opportunity missed .

The truth hurts when itā€™s not good enough itā€™s not good enough simple .

Itā€™s Gerrards first season and as I said I would stick with him but Iā€™m not interested if itā€™s your first or tenth season as a manager at Rangers the message is still the same you need to win the league.

09 Mar 2019 17:38:00
Stewarty, the ref robbed us in at least four of they games. Did he ayešŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ‘.

09 Mar 2019 09:31:56
God that was hard to watch even with a right good drink in me. It will probably be a 12 gap or more with the dims as we will drop more points! Do like the Manager and he has improved our profile and is a good guy but you really can't see us being champions next year unless better players are brought in with searious cash? Playing for Gers is hard and some of these players don't have the mentality or skill? šŸ˜šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§.

09 Mar 2019 10:42:17
Our summer transfers will be important, but maybe more important will be Celtics. They could lose some of their better players, just as we could, but can Lennon, or who ever gets the job replace them?

09 Mar 2019 16:03:37
East coast
Rangers will do the best they can in the transfers, they still havenā€™t got the spending power to compete with Celtic but they havenā€™t done too bad up to now, what theyā€™ve went through as a club will take quite a while to get over, but the fans are the best in the world ( my opinion) and theyā€™ll see them through, and we have a decent board again, now if we can get rid of fat Ashley itā€™ll be a big help.

09 Mar 2019 09:22:30
Funny how we read Morelos has interest from premier league bundasleague etc then bang new contract! Guys been woeful last 2 games.

09 Mar 2019 10:22:54
Woeful for 2 whole games? Jail him! Come on guys heā€™s the best player in the league by a country mile, top goalscorer, adores the fans, works tirelessly for the team, Columbia international and only 22.hes sure to have a few off games due to the standard heā€™s set himself. Absolute quality player and no one will convince me otherwise. We consistently go on bout how the media are hounding this gem of a talent out the league but all u have to do is take a look at these forums to see that so called rangers fans are hounding him out too unless he pulls out a hat trick. get real guys, open your eyes and realize we have a superstar in the making. the kid gets my support through good and bad why? Because he deserves it!

09 Mar 2019 11:08:38
Gersdaft he is not a Columbia international mate. Played 1 friendly which I didn't know doesn't count as a cap in FIFA eyes. Apparently has a lot to do with when we signed Rafael Scheidt (which he was) and Brazil got caught capping players in friendlies to boost their value and enable them to get work permits. FIFA clamped down on it.

{Ed001's Note - it depends on what you mean by 'doesn't count'. He can call himself an international, but he can't be judged for work permits etc as an international until he plays in competitive matches.}

09 Mar 2019 11:17:58
Heā€™s played for the Columbia national team and that doesnā€™t qualify as an international? Sour grapes n jealousy wonā€™t wash on here sir.

09 Mar 2019 11:25:28
Plus alfie was called up on merit! Not to inflate a fee . Also I would put my house on it that he will be called up again unlike your said imposter scheidt.

09 Mar 2019 11:32:58
I think Morelos is a good player but his ball control is terrible at times and he is one of the worst I have seen for being offside. Therefpre, I don't believe he is the best player in the league and would be doing well if he made our bench.

09 Mar 2019 11:48:42
Best laugh in a while Lennon. couldn't make your bench? Top scorer in the league, player of the year stick on and couldnā€™t make your bench? Just shows how petty and unrealistic your lot are. how many of your strikers are being touted for a 20 million pound move? Oh thatā€™s right NONE! Try justifying the near 10 million yous paid for edouard b4 spouting absolute drivel bout our players.

09 Mar 2019 12:25:26
Ed001 I knew there was something to it. It's a complex issue you would think it would be straight forward, if a player plays in any game they should count.

Gersdaft how am I jealous? Was stating a fact about ALL international caps represented in friendly games.

{Ed001's Note - it is more to do with the change in rules to allow players to swap nationality if they have not played in a competitive fixture though. The reason FIFA hold off on calling them a international for X country is simply due to them being able to then change allegiance to another country in the future.}

09 Mar 2019 14:45:21
Ed001 I never knew that mate. That's another thing that needs sorted, players switching country they play for. It should be birthplace or dual nationality through parent, grandparent etc. Think Germany has players from Brazil and Ghana who qualified through citizenship rules. When you think about it, it's not really a Germany National team anymore.

{Ed001's Note - I don't see a problem with that, so long as the citizenship rules are not akin to the one that has seen the Abdulrahman family qualify for the UAE one. Basically they were given citizenship because Omar was such a good player and they wanted him to build the UAE team around. If you live in a country you can develop an affection for it. It does feel a shame for those poorer countries that have been stripped of their material assets during imperial days now to lose their skilled footballers to those same countries though!}

09 Mar 2019 09:15:36
I stated yesterday that hibs and aberdeen lie down against cfc - and reserve their best games only for Rangers.

Last night hibs played as though their very life depended on it - I have never seen so many last man tackles or men throwing themselves in front of the ball - I have never ever seen any these two teams play against cfc in this way, or any other for that matter other than Rangers.

It may sound like sour grapes, but I stated this before last nights game.

09 Mar 2019 10:42:50
I think a lot if that had to do with confidence. Hibs and Aberdeen go into games against us 100% believing they can get the points. Not so much when they're playing Celtic. There's no conspiracy going on.

09 Mar 2019 11:35:31
Hibs have taken more points off us than you have and McInnes hates us with a passion, which is evident from the pain in his face when we cuff them. However, don't let that get in the way of your cospiracy theory.

09 Mar 2019 12:54:02
LemmonAtWork - you mentioned conspiracy - I haven't. I questioned that their commitment against cfc is not the same as their commitment against Rangers - last night confirms my belief and todays no contest will confirm that belief.

If you saw the last cfc v hibs game - hibs lacked everything on the park and I do not remember seeing them go forward or having a shot at goal - no belief, no commitment and no heart!

09 Mar 2019 12:55:13
To be be fair they were only able to get back in the game because once again we didn't kill them off, that's the 3rd game against them this season which we should have won comfortably, 6 points dropped to hibs alone, we only have ourselves to blame. To be fair I don't actually see celtic dropping points but I still see us dropping more points. The cup is the only hope and even then I don't see it, personally I think we will be lucky to beat Aberdeen. Before people say don't be so negative, I am only being realistic because we are not consistent enough and a lot of our players just don't have that winning mentality to many turn up here and there, nobody commands that team when the chips are down. Upside is we clearly have a decent foundation going into next season add some quality in the right areas but a must is replacing Morelos because Lafferty and Defoe are not good enough to be our main striker.

09 Mar 2019 09:07:37
Morning all. I like everyone last night felt very disappointed and frustrated at the end of the game. A game we should have won by a mile. Morelos has been great all season but he was awful last night you saw there goal coming we started flagging in mid field and needed a sub on to freshing things up. But my main worry is the pure hate the verbal and physical abuse to Rangers players, it's very close now to something serious that's going to happen. That idiot could have had a knife on him, the banners the chants the on line stuff is out of control now. All the authorities football ones and the police are doing nothing, the press IMO WIP the feelings up before every high profile game we play. Rangers fans sing one song and everyone past and present jump up and scream how terrible we are.

09 Mar 2019 09:10:53
cfc, aberdeen and hibs fans ALL need to be kept under control - what they say; what they do and how they do it need to be looked at -- it does seem to be collusion there.

09 Mar 2019 09:18:20
There is an incident at every game now when Rangers or Celtic are playing, is it pure sectarian or in most cases just thuggery? The media put a spin on everything to suit themselves.
Also I read that Hastie said he has not had talks with anyone, where did his story start, was it DR or from an honest source?

09 Mar 2019 10:06:52
Our stupid away fans think they are at an orange walk not a rangers game. They are embarrassing our club game after game. Step up fans groups and get this sorted. Some wee Hibs junkie runs on the park so we are up to our knees again. The hole game I had to listen to the old proddie, 1690 crap. Half the support at the game have no idea who is but would rather sing about him than any of the actual players or the team.

On the park I think we are getting there. Need an alternative to Morelos who has been outstanding this season. A number 10 and defence needs sorted. We know we need 2 goals as we nearly always concede.

09 Mar 2019 10:23:55
Celtic fan in peace - Robbie, you're 100% right about the conduct of some fans and I'm getting sick of Celtic/ Rangers fans getting blamed for Scottish football's ills. People always try to bring it back to bigotry/ sectarianism and say its a west coast problem which is all a lot of nonsense.

Its hooliganism plain and simple and Hibs and Hearts fans are the worst offenders. that's twice in a week a hibs fan has attacked an old firm player, look at the incidents at tynecastle over the last few years too.

I reckon its time for a coherent voice from Celtic/ Rangers fans, the main problem has nothing to do with sectarianism (most folk don't even know what this word means), its about time the Edinburgh clubs started taking the flak for it, clearly they have bigger issues than us.

09 Mar 2019 11:12:25
Hibs and Aberdeen fans are far worse than any side of old firm. You don't hear as much about it because media are selective what they publish, but if it was any side of the old firm they are all over it like a rash.

09 Mar 2019 11:39:53
Gerry and Phil
Talking a bit of sense.

09 Mar 2019 12:59:51
Indeed it's poor that it's mostly old firm getting it all the time. It's because we have much bigger fan bases, put it this way if a teams fan base is 10% idiots Rangers and Celtic have 5 or 6 thousand idiots The rest maybe have a thousand or so so we are heard and seen more it's just easy for everyone to blame the big bad old firm.

09 Mar 2019 08:50:41
OK Gerrard's first season and I believe he has really improved our team and mentality however I hope he's backed with serious cash in summer as we need to be far more clinical, more goals from our two wide players and a proper number 10 who gets goals I'd say right and left backs in the Gary Stevens Davie Robertson mould a Gough type cb should see us ok.

09 Mar 2019 09:19:17
Bgate
If only.

09 Mar 2019 12:07:27
Bathgate u r correct. We are four or five players away from what we need.

09 Mar 2019 14:22:18
Need an out and out striker and a CAPTAIN!

09 Mar 2019 08:48:21
After last night I realise any minimal chance of the league have gone. I've said on here before I cannot understand SG and his sub timings? giving Defoe 13 mins when we had to win seems madness. Tav yet again caught out of position, sitting on his arse looking for a foul as they broke and scored from where he should have been, Greegs reaction said it all
On a side note what was with Candias reaction to his team mates when he scored pushing them away bit like Gareth Bale the other week at madrid any thoughts or info what that's all about.

09 Mar 2019 09:15:53
When you have been blatantly fouled, obviously you are are going to look for, erm. a foul.

09 Mar 2019 09:18:59
Tavernier showed his mentality in that moment you mention Ibrox founders, a week selfish player with week mentality. No wonder McGregor's hair changing colours with the shenanigans of his right back.

09 Mar 2019 13:02:11
To be fair I think he went down looking for a foul that wasn't there which then cost us the goal but, that is irrelevant because once again we waisted countless chances as we have in the previous 2 games against them. We just don't have the mentality and there were roo many that just gave up the ghost.

09 Mar 2019 15:24:28
Sharpshooter sorry bud no way blatant foul even his appeal was half hearted.

We've spent a lot of money to finish second with the same points as we had last season.

We've been crying out for a creative player and a goal threat other than Morelos all season. Those players must be our priority in the transfer window.

09 Mar 2019 08:40:30
awg72. We finished third last season, 3 points behind the sheep and 12 points behind the unwashed. We'll definitely finish 2nd this season but I imagine the gap between us and them will be about the same. Considering it has been SG's first season in charge there is much to be optimistic about. The Scottish Cup now has to be our goal and if we can lift that, then that would be progress. Why we can have so much possession and pressure in some games yet not win them is a worry though.

09 Mar 2019 12:09:17
Last season we conceded 50 league goals to date this season 21, will someone tell me how that is not an improvement.

09 Mar 2019 07:22:24
As the dust settles on another frustrating night Tuesday becomes our biggest game of the season. Weā€™ve come up short this season when Celtic have been there for the taking, Iā€™m not sure they will drop as many points next season so our improvement for next year must be cast. Iā€™ve bern critical of Joe Worrall but the last two games he has been immense and outshone Goldson but heā€™s away back to Forest and another quality CB is required. We need an attacking mid to get us goals from there as only Arfield seems to score regularly, Iā€™d also say we need another defensive mid as Ryan Jack can go missing in games however this is not a priority and we need 2 goalscoring wide men, Candeias chipped in last night but we need 10-15 each from these positions to mount a better challenge.

Still lots to be positive about this season as we have improved and hopefully we can push on towards 80pts to reflect this and provided we get through Tuesday weā€™ll have 3 games against Celtic to lay a few gloves on them.

Think people need to stop over reacting we were the far better team last night played decent football should have scored more goals. It's only Gerrard's first season in charge we never really expected to win the league but add a few players we will be close next year. Don't know but everyone else but for where we have came as a club am proud of where we are heading.

09 Mar 2019 10:49:31
Agree Banxger
The manager said after the game it is his responsibility to get the quality in to convert these draws to wins .
If we do add real quality ( unsure if grezda is the answer)
we can challenge next season.

09 Mar 2019 00:22:44
Very disappointed with Ryan Kent tonight. The amount of times he gets into good positions cutting into the box on his right foot, why does he never shoot. Always wants to try another turn, or walk the ball into the net. Have a shot for god sake.

09 Mar 2019 07:01:40
Iā€™ve said it before on here, I really like Ryan Kent but in the formation that we play we need more goals from our wingers, they need to play more like inside right/ lefts and score more goals, we need 10-15 each to compliment a 20plus striker, Morelos has carried the attack and when he isnā€™t firing like our last 2 games we struggle to win.

08 Mar 2019 23:59:39
Despite the fact tonight was a disaster not putting the spoon burners away, Glen Kamara looks like the most able and comfortable with the ball, technically sound. I think he'll have a good future with us.

09 Mar 2019 07:03:01
Definitely patmo, heā€™s been a great signing so far and will be better with better players around him.

09 Mar 2019 07:46:40
Couldnā€™t agree more Pat! Iā€™ve said umpteen times he reminds me of Ferguson! The guy is class.

08 Mar 2019 23:00:55
No idea why Davis on bench at expense of Lefferty tonight.

09 Mar 2019 07:07:49
For me, Lafferty wouldnā€™t have made a difference, we have struggled all season to change it up when weā€™re chasing a late win and last night was no different. The gaffer has to hold his hands up, Hibs were edging back into the game last night and he only changed it when they equalised, he has to be more proactive with in game management. Thatā€™s the 2nd game in a row we couldā€™ve done with McCrorie coming onto strengthen the midfield, I donā€™t think Gerrard trusts the subs.

08 Mar 2019 22:59:54
If it wasn't before, league over. Far too inconsistent. Before anyone cries for SG's head he must be given one more year.

09 Mar 2019 07:48:32
Itā€™s no SG fault we could kill game Doiger. I thought we played well first Hal and should have benn our of sight. I agree he deserves more time, with a couple quality additions.

08 Mar 2019 22:36:15
Really need to be more clinical, game should have been put to bed before half time, makes the replay with Aberdeen a bigger game for us now as that's our last for silverware the league is probably gone now if it wasn't already, and must say think tav delt with that spoon burner well tonight, no point in reacting and striking him with a punch or anything stupid and getting himself in trouble, think as fans we can underestimate the restraint required in that situation the guys wife and kids would be watching that, imagine yourself at your job and some idiot does that to you hope the morons banned from football grounds for life.

09 Mar 2019 03:06:38
See someone on the tims page wanting tav charged šŸ™ˆ.

08 Mar 2019 22:23:52
Despite drawing, I did think we are finding a consistent team who are playing really well together. Creating numerous chances and playing quick linking football that will destroy most teams. We had a lot of bad luck in front of goal and would win that game 98 times out of 100. The future is bright! This league was beyond our reach a while ago due to inconsistency, once we sort that then game on, C'mon the Gers.

08 Mar 2019 22:14:56
Not clinical enough very wasteful indeed. Same as last visit to easter road. good goal by candeias but deary me he's so frustrating works hard does the hard stuff well enough but the easy stuff like final ball while no pressure and covering back for tavernier? Sprints 70 yards back only to stop short of where he should be what does he not learn? As for our marauding captain all he needs to do is pass the ball 3 yards but no takes too long loses the ball as usual the rather than chase back immediately he drops down as if he's fouled like a lame excuse for giving ball away! Aye am sick of the same problems that we don't learn from. get it sorted.

09 Mar 2019 03:08:05
He was fouleducated tbf. A foul on tav plus an offside in the same goal.

09 Mar 2019 08:10:06
Tavernier went down very cheaply.

09 Mar 2019 08:24:49
I agree frustrated Blue, poor officiating again tonight changed the momentum of a game. Tav 100% fouled before they went up the park to score from and crossed ball from an offside position. Then there is the point of Alfredo being fouled in the box by david gray which i believe should have been a penalty. MacGregor should have been sent off long before he was.
Im not trying to paper over the crack but, again scottish referees have made themselves look incompetent.

08 Mar 2019 22:03:52
At the end of the day some of these players need have a long hard look at there self they think because they turn up and beat a few smaller team by a few goals
That they have the right to come out and say the title challenge is still on and they have proved there doubters wrong.
They will only earn that right when the start finishing the bigger teams off instead of chucking the results away to many draws.

08 Mar 2019 21:55:58
Gift wrapped and everything. You know what I mean lads, poor stuff.

08 Mar 2019 21:50:32
As usual giving the ball away too cheaply we are weak it, s simply not good enough and there needs to be another clearout too many players not Rangers level and we would be better playing some of our youngsters they cannot be any worse. Sorry but it, s the truth a lot of money spent on being 2nd and miles behind them!

09 Mar 2019 04:10:24
I agree youth over some guy that's didn't get a game for Dundee. Only McGregor is good enough all of the time.

08 Mar 2019 21:44:25
Again manager too late to make a change I was thinking after 30 mins get Defoe on he would have put any some of they chances not good enough.

08 Mar 2019 21:25:44
How are we fighting to hold on here? beyond belief this isn't dead and buried.
