There you have it, French league 1, relegation has been deemed illegal. Said it all along that Hearts could not be relegated. So now Doncaster and co. actions will also be classed as illegal. Effectively they are breaking the law.

09 Jun 2020 20:22:53
Muppet, you can't be serious. Doncaster breaking the rules! He is so corrupt. He is not fit for purpose. Fact is Rangers could still win the league. Hearts could stay in the premiership. Doncaster must go!

09 Jun 2020 20:51:21
Liewells puppet! Absolutely disgusting and how that man Doncaster is still in that job is unbelievable. Told you before, if we were 10points in front that league would have been void. And wait for it as the Scottish Cup semifinals will be played in next year’s campaign as that’s how Liewell runs the whole shabang 😡😡😡🇬🇧.

09 Jun 2020 23:37:56
The Muppet. It is not just Doncaster that is culpable. IMO the SFPL and SFA need root and branch change with proper governance brought in. And, for me, and I don’t mean to be disrespectful, but some of the clubs should be part-time at best and shouldn’t get a vote.

10 Jun 2020 00:22:52
And yet Robertson is on the Spfl board a Big Pedro isn't 🤔.

10 Jun 2020 01:00:15
French clubs didn't get a vote that's why it was illegal. We voted in scotland to end the season. Read that was the difference in an article online👍.

10 Jun 2020 06:38:31
And we all know how that vote went. All legal and above board. Nothing to see here.

10 Jun 2020 07:13:30
It's over and done with now up here.
Let them enjoy their unearned tainted title. They have to live with that.
We've already started planning for the future. 👍.

10 Jun 2020 07:59:46
Apart from not counting Dundee's vote and coercing them into changing their mind.

10 Jun 2020 10:00:44
Didn't we change our mind and vote yes? If the vote was illegal or underhand wouldn't we be taking legal action? I was quite disappointed when the club came out with all the accusations claiming we had evidence to warrant an independant enquiry, I know it was voted against but the only evidence we had was hearsay. I thought it made us look quite foolish to be honest. If we had concrete evidence of any wrong doing we should have presented it. I think it is time to move on from all the conspiracy theories. 👍.

10 Jun 2020 10:06:43
So Coldo how do you feel about this year’s Scottish Cup semifinals being played in next year’s campaign? You say there is no corruption but this will be announced shortly by the SFA. Sporting integrity as that what they call it✌️.

10 Jun 2020 10:36:21
Doesn't interest me yately as we are not in the semi finals👍. If they have to be played next season then so be it, how is that corrupt? Infact europa qualifiers will be moved to later than normal which will cause fixture congestion and more games over a shorter period of time, could be a disadvantage to us, is that corrupt? If our europa league 2nd leg tie had to be played next season would that be corrupt? I think a lot of fans like to label circumstances that suit their own agenda. 👍.

10 Jun 2020 10:58:21
I am better just leaving it mate as I just don’t get how you can play a tournament into the new season with totally different players. The English have shown up our league to what it is and concluded their season which would have been possible here.

10 Jun 2020 12:26:21
coldo no we did NOT vote yes to lower leagues being awarded which set up the rest due to Dundee fiasco. please read decision. we voted yes to cellic getting premiership title as there was nothing left on the table due to prior corruption being ignored. which allows another competition to be played out to a finish with different players. it takes ignorance for corruption to exist.

10 Jun 2020 13:25:54
I never mentioned anything about lower league's Eric. I'm talking about voting to give celtic the title. It takes ignorance for conspiracy theorists to exist.

Why is it such a big deal yately whether or not its the same players. They'd be overwhelming favourites with or without new players. Especially as we are out the cup. Every other team in it would have new players. So I fail to see why sporting integrity is getting cried. It sounds to me as though its any excuse to stop them winning a treble. We are out the cup so why get involved in something that has got nothing to do with us? Its between the remaining teams, if they decide to play it on the moon then let them.

I agree they won 8 and were awarded 9 but let's face it although it was mathematically possible to catch them, it wasn't even a title race, we were so far behind. Our season was finished before the lock down. People might not like that but its the truth.

This victim card constantly getting played and everyone is corrupt and against us is embarrassing to the club. I remember during the 90's we all called them paranoid because every ref was a mason etc. Now the boot is on the other foot and you's are losing it with conspiracy nonsense. We would never have caught them this year. Let it go and move on. 👍.

10 Jun 2020 13:30:23
Yately mate I agree that our league is a shambles and is a laughing stock and we have been showing up by other leagues. But as I said that doesn't take away from the fact they were cruising to the title and would have been overwhelming favourites for the cup with or without the same or new players. 👍.

10 Jun 2020 15:49:04
Coldo, if the first vote had been conducted properly in the first place there wouldn't have been a second vote to decide titles, relegation etc. Do you think the SPFL acted properly and professionally when administering that first vote?

10 Jun 2020 15:51:28
To say they didn't earn it 2pac is incorrect, they were 13 in front. We threw it away after Xmas celtic would have won the league regardless imo time to move on and stop 10 in a row.

10 Jun 2020 16:42:22
Seeker whether or not the SFA made mistakes, celtic would have won the league and highly likely the cup. You's are making out that they only got the league title because everyone is against us, which is ridiculous, they would have strolled to the title regardless. The original vote was to end the season as it stands and dish out the prize money accordingly, we wanted the money but we didn't want the league to finish. we then failed with the idependant enquiry which was based on hearsay. We could have played the rest of games and watched celtic win it. 👍.

10 Jun 2020 16:53:33
Coldo, semi finals on the moon interesting where would they play.
I can just picture another Buzz in a 🚀 rocket heading to The Moon piggery stadium.
Hopefully it would get sucked into a black hole.
Beam Me Up scotty 👍.

10 Jun 2020 17:00:05
Good post coldo. Do u remember all the ones on here who wanted Sg sacked after Hamilton game as league was gone.

10 Jun 2020 19:45:09
John I just wish we would focus on how we improve and sustain a title challenge. Instead people are focusing on conspiracy nonsense that is nothing but deflection from our own failures👍.

10 Jun 2020 20:20:50
I think there is an agenda against my club and know of many, many more that also do. You can call us paranoid. I'd prefer the term realist. And ai'd never have conceded the league until it is mathematically imposdible. Who's to say we could not have won both OF games and our game in hand to cut the deficit to 4? Who knows what effect the break would have had on both teams? Is it not possible we cpuld have flown out of the traps while they stuttered? They are certainly no world beaters and we have made them look very ordinary more than once this season? Is it not possible? Just saying 👍.

10 Jun 2020 20:45:26
You can't be a realist seeker if you think we had a chance of beating them to the title. 👍.

11 Jun 2020 09:33:21
We weren't given any chance whatsoever to find out what would have happened. They prob would have won but they never. Don't hand people titles because they prob would have won anyway. No conspiracy theory here,
In my opinion it all hinged on 3 games after this lenghly break, 3 games
You talk about the Celtic as if they are invincible.

But they probably probably probably are. So they must be. 👍.

09 Jun 2020 17:15:52
A question for you the covenanter and i'm asking your good self, because you were a coach yourself mate. As we all probably know, our reserve coach peter lovenkrands and our under 18 coach kevin thomson, are highly regarded at the rangers training centre. I know one of the coaches very well at our training centre and he rates both very highly and actually did say to me that kevin thomson could well be a future rangers manager. Now we all know that could/ would only happen if he went to manage another club elsewhere first and was a complete success at it! I like a good few and i've said before on here that i also think current dundee utd manager robbie neilson is a good manager/ head coach. what's your take the covenanter, do you rate any of these 3 and do you think lovenkrands, thomo or nielson could be future rangers manager's mate? 🤔.

09 Jun 2020 18:27:33
What about the motherwell manager coops. I think he has been the best manager about and the job he has done at motherwell has been brilliant.

09 Jun 2020 19:04:43
Have to agree fauldhoose bear and i did say to some jambo pals of mine that hearts should have went for motherwell manager stephen robinson instead of stendel, when they were contemplating levein's replacement!
Robinson has continued to lose his best players at motherwell and keeps rebuilding his team back to a good level each time. I think he's rebuilt about 3 times now. He undoubtedly should be given the northern ireland manager's job imo. He's proved he's a good manager.

09 Jun 2020 23:49:06
SGL, I don't know much about Lovenkrands as a coach but I've heard Thomson is very good, but lacking a bit in imposing discipline and would need to add a ruthless streak before being talked of as a Rangers manager. I had the privilege of coaching Robbie as a kid and I knew his dad Ian well. He was at Ibrox from the age of 10, then was an 'S' form but at the last minute the club decided not to sign him despite him being recommended buy the junior coaching staff. It broke his heart and has rankled ever since, so unless he has forgiven and forgotten, Robbie won't be Rangers manager either. As for Robinson, I wouldn't let him in the door.

10 Jun 2020 09:21:13
Do you think robbie nielson though,
has the ability to be a future rangers manager/ head coach, putting his heartbreak as a youngster aside for a minute the covenanter? 🤔A lot of young rangers players that have been rejected/ let go in youth forgive and come back, as those things often happen at every club at times mate! Its all part of football i suppose.

10 Jun 2020 09:52:25
NOT. A. CHANCE sorry coops big man, but what a disappointment robbie neilson would be to the vast majority, if he was announced as our manager.

10 Jun 2020 10:09:17
Robbie Neilson wouldn’t be for me although naming a future Rangers Manager would be hard. Even if StevieG was to go he has left the whole club stronger than it was. Big year ahead for StevieG✌️🇬🇧.

10 Jun 2020 12:09:14
IF and it's a big if SG goes we'll be looking at a bigger, more established manager than neilson and Robinson.

10 Jun 2020 12:22:15
Rob I Neilson not what we require to manage our youth team in bottom league.
Barry Ferguson will never manage our first team, not got it as a manager.

10 Jun 2020 13:21:04
SGL, I don't believe Robbie has it in him to be Rangers manager, mate. And while loads of boys are disappointed when they aren't signed it was the manner in which we dealt with Robbie that he and him family found disgusting, and a couple of others like me, to be honest.

10 Jun 2020 13:53:28
Guys keep your pants on! 😂I'm only asking the question, i'm not saying neilson, robinson have the ability to be the next rangers manager! From what i've heard from my mate ie. one of the coaches at the rangers training centre, our under 18 coach kevin thomson is very highly thought of/ regarded within the training centre and the corridors at ibrox. If he progresses the way they think,
then trust me a good few in there think KT is future rangers manager material. For the record as you all know i rate steven gerrard and i'm still totally backing him and believe in him, but everyone has to leave one way or another, one day and i think the next rangers manager after gerrard will be gio van bronckhorst and i'd honestly bet a decent amount of dough on that!

10 Jun 2020 14:32:53
SGL we could not afford gvb wages.
There is a train off thought within Rangers that Defoe will be the next gamble as manager 2024.

10 Jun 2020 16:46:24
Don't know what wages gvb are john but SG is meant to be on £50k+ a week. I think we might go foreign with our next manager.

10 Jun 2020 21:32:09
Gvb on three million a year. I thought SG on 35 k a week plus bonuses.

09 Jun 2020 14:19:03
If we needing dykes, let's try shift some of the deadwood on to livi. Stewart, barker doc on loan etc.

09 Jun 2020 15:54:38
Barker and Stewart yes. Docherty can do a job for us.

09 Jun 2020 16:33:31
Gus I definitely think Docherty could do a job for us, trouble is he's not a Gerrard signing so he probably won't make it at Rangers.

09 Jun 2020 17:30:30
I don't know why everyone seems to keep saying Gerrard doesn't pick him because he's not his player. Plenty of others aren't. I am sure most of us would have agreed that we had lots of strong midfield options and that there were a few ahead of him before he got loaned out. He has really done well on loan and so now deserves his chance.

09 Jun 2020 17:55:19
Simple, a new manager in any business prefers to bring his own staff in. In general the same applies in football.

09 Jun 2020 14:08:58
How about Mario Balatelli? 😁.

09 Jun 2020 14:21:27
No chance Mrgrumpy read SG book when he talks about him. We couldn’t afford him anyway.

09 Jun 2020 10:52:43
Peterborough want 15 million for Toney. Hmm. A player in England's third tier of football. Don't think that'll happen.

09 Jun 2020 11:33:28
Good league 1 striker. that's about it. Not for us. Plus yeah we can't afford him.

09 Jun 2020 12:26:05
We must be down to the conference now Paul!

09 Jun 2020 12:47:23
C of ibrox we can get better players than Toney. But barry fry wanting 15mill for him. we have shopped in these leagues already and it cleary doesn't work.

09 Jun 2020 13:12:16
But Toney and hickey then lend them out for year or two same with Ferguson.

09 Jun 2020 10:07:26
Morning fellow bears. With all this talk about which strikers to sign, we all have our own opinion. I have just read an interesting piece from a former rangers striker (and a very good one at that) Billy Dodds. He thinks that Lyndon Dykes would be a very good fit. Billy is a guy that I would certainly listen. Thoughts Bears.

09 Jun 2020 10:20:41
Ger4life, there's no doubt in my mind whatsoever that lyndon dykes would be a very good signing for rangers mate. Not a shred of doubt and he would get even better under steven gerrard! 👍👌.

09 Jun 2020 10:36:43
Dykes is untested against teams that dig in. He will never have faced that at Livingston. I am not totally against him signing but he would be a big gamble and at anything over 500k I wouldn’t be interested!

09 Jun 2020 10:43:28
Would take him but nowhere near 2mill. 750k max.

09 Jun 2020 11:26:14
I assume SGL is happy with being runners up again.

09 Jun 2020 12:00:36
Ger4life and SGL. There is always risks attached with new players. Like others, my opinion is that Rangers need four good strikers that offer different things to the team so that Gerrard can mix it up when needed. Dykes could be one of those strikers as I think he offers something different from what we already have. I thought he played well against us at Ibrox. And at the end of the day if he comes in and does well everyone that has doubts will move on. If he doesn’t do well or fit in then he will become like Greg Stewart. I suppose the question to ask ( and I don’t know the answer to this) is there a better alternative available, someone better or with greater potential for the price?

09 Jun 2020 12:48:27
68 good idea would be to fure livi the likes of stewart and barker for dykes.

09 Jun 2020 13:20:40
The Stuck, i have many years experience following rangers everywhere pal and let me tell you this. I would never except being runners up to them at tiddlywinks,
let alone football! 😂 Over the years i would love to have had a penny everytime when we went to sign a player from a smaller club in scotland, for the amount of times i've heard the negative comments from people like yourself spouting that he's not good enough, he's alright playing for them and not us etc, etc! Every transfer has a degree of a gamble attached to it. I'll also tell you that over the years and players we've signed from other scottish clubs, there's been a helluva lot of good signings, with them improving even more when they came to us. I also have seen failures and also big name foreign failures!,
So we don't know for definite if dykes would be a good signing or not my friend! I personally think he would be!

09 Jun 2020 14:06:43
dykes and a speed merchant. can't see how 6foot + would not be helpful against clubs that sit in. makes no sense i'm afraid.

09 Jun 2020 15:02:15
For every Billy Dodds there will be two or three who differ, just like on here. I differ completely from Coops, for instance, I can see little to suggest Dykes would improve enough, quickly enough to offer us a real striking option.

09 Jun 2020 15:23:18
What striker would you like rangers to bring in the covenanter, within reason mate?

09 Jun 2020 16:19:02
SGL, I'm glad you've followed Rangers for a while and I'm sure you will continue to do so. I can also say the same, My father took me to my first game when I was 4 and continue to follow follow. I am now 51. I also had the great pleasure of working with the head grounds man at Ibrox for 12 years. Keep following my friend.

09 Jun 2020 19:10:28
Good for you mate! 👍. My late grandmother was a 2nd cousin of rangers legendary player, manager and then director Willie Waddell. They originated from a wee village called the forth.

09 Jun 2020 19:14:44
SGL, are you sure it was called the Forth?

09 Jun 2020 20:01:47
Yes why my friend?

09 Jun 2020 23:56:27
It was called Forth all right and I also have connections with the village, my Grandfather was born there! As for all our backgrounds, I first saw Rangers in August 1958, which is almost 60 years of follow following. My mother was born in Paisley Road West and legend has it that my great grandfather on that side actually saw the team play at Kinning Park and was really put out when they moved along to Ibrox!

10 Jun 2020 00:00:39
SGL, I tend not to get involved with speculation mate, although I will post wee snippets and rumours I hear occasionally. I prefer to wait until it is presented to us as a fait accompli, it's more exciting! However, any striker we do sign will be, I think, about two levels above those currently quoted on here.

10 Jun 2020 09:53:05
i was born in blackburn street in kinning park in 1948 and i don't remember ever been told they had played in kinning park, i am not saying it never happened but if anyone has any info on this i would be interested to know.

10 Jun 2020 12:37:35
True blue, we started at Glasgow green, move to Burnbank, Govan and thereafter played at Clydesdale cricket club, in kinning park. There after Cathkin park, then first ibrox before the first disaster.
It was extensively rebuilt and expanded on the site we occupy today.

09 Jun 2020 09:32:59
Do you think that Gerrard will have learned his lesson and be open to using different systems depending on the opposition and how they are set up?
For example to counter a deep block.

09 Jun 2020 09:55:41
We can only hope cause this is a huge season now to stop 10. 4-3-3 doesn't work in every game as we saw in the 2nd half of last season.

09 Jun 2020 10:42:37
I want to see two up front. More to think about for teams that park the bus.

09 Jun 2020 11:09:31
If Gerrard hasn't learned lessons then it will be 10iar and he'll be out of a job. 👍.

09 Jun 2020 16:04:22
If he hasn't leaned lessons, it will only be 9 3/ 4 in a row, but yes ah see what your getting at.

09 Jun 2020 16:00:48
Gerrard might be out of a job but show me the workings out it would be 10 in a row. Its an impossibility 👍.

09 Jun 2020 17:13:29
Because they have 9 so plus 1 equals 10🤷‍♂️👍.

09 Jun 2020 20:43:34
They have won eight and awarded one not won nine.
If you honestly think being awarded a title when it wasn't impossible to be caught and in the underhand way it was done is acceptable then fine your not the only one on here who thinks it was a deserved title.

It doesn't matter we were playing crap, we were still in the race.
I never heard the Fat lady sing.
If we started up next week playing behind closed doors anything could happen playing Celtic in an empty Parkhead.

I bet you they will manage to get the Scottish cup played.
Do you think wee buzz and the buzzets would be saying they've won 9 get on with if the shoe was on the other foot, especially in the way it was done.
Whatever Happened To The Cry Of No Surrender.

10 Jun 2020 00:54:46
We weren't in the race👍.

10 Jun 2020 15:54:37
I'll rephrase that for you.
The Race Wasn't Finished Yet.

Nobody knows what would have happened if they waited like England did.
Three games - Celtic home and away St Johnstone home 3 wins the pressures on, but you are going to tell us we would be lucky to get 3 points from those 3 games and that's guess work.

You are calling it 9 in a row on guess work.
I had 2 fifty pound bets with Celtic at work start of the season and they weren't interested in asking me for money (they wouldn't have got it anyway) The bookies are refunding Rangers bets.

We are Aye Ready. No Aye Ready to throw in the towel 👍.

09 Jun 2020 07:49:35
Just shows how corrupt Scottish football is when they call the league early but then want to play out the scottish Cup imo can't be done unless they U-turn the calling the of the league and play it out as well.

just feels like this is a frantic attempt to try and ensure Celtic get the scottish Cup as well as there's no other way they could just award them the S.C. just stinks to high heaven they should just have held off and played out the season like the other associations are doing now or they should have null and voided the season and awarded European placed on current standings.

09 Jun 2020 11:15:42
You can't void a season but then award euro places on the current standings of the season you have just voided🤦‍♂️. you have just contradicted yourself. I agree they should have waited but let's be honest we were never catching them. Why do people persist on going over the same ground. Mathematically it was possible but there is not one fan who would have put a grand on us catching them. Move on👍.

09 Jun 2020 12:02:43
It's not about putting bets on.
There was still points to be played for. So I would never give up. 👍
You've already stated elsewhere Coldo that if Gerrard doesn't learn his lesson this season it will be 10IAR? When are you giving up? After one defeat? 2? Or does it depend what other permutations are in play?

09 Jun 2020 12:32:30
Aye ready can I just say 2 things 1) if we had beaten a piss poor hearts team, we would be in the semi and 2 games from winning the Cup. (2)Its 3 games max not over 100 games the league had to play and the SFA will get the money from sponsors if played out-let's move on to more important things like trying to win this league.

09 Jun 2020 13:48:48
Correct re hearts game. Manager made mistake not playing Morelos. Play game then fine or ban him.

09 Jun 2020 17:15:32
When there is gap tupac and although that gap is mathematically possible but our players don't have the balls to compete🤷‍♂️👍.

09 Jun 2020 17:16:45
And our manager doesn't have the know how to change. 🤷‍♂️ I'd prob admit defeat then. 👍.

09 Jun 2020 18:13:38
Does that include Ryan 'the best £7.5m rangers will ever spend' Kent coldo? 🤔.

10 Jun 2020 01:02:36
He is the best 7mil we will spend. 👍.

09 Jun 2020 07:23:07
I have watched all the clips of Brewster playing and the player I would say he reminds me of most is Ohjo!

09 Jun 2020 12:07:35
Youtube made ohno look great🤦‍♂️👍.

09 Jun 2020 06:44:10
According to media reports this morning, it may be a straight fight between lyle taylor V lyndon dykes, that rangers sign to become their 3rd striker and adding to already there alfredo morelos and jermain defoe!

In various media reports billy dodds gives a glowing reference on dykes and chris erskine who's played beside both dykes and taylor, stated any the two of them would be very good signings for rangers. If it was simply between these two strikers fellow bears, which one of the two, would you prefer rangers to sign? 🤔

Ed033, could you run a poll on this please mate?
The poll being if it were to be a choice of rangers signing lyndon dykes or lyle taylor,
which striker would you prefer rangers to sign? Cheers Ed, would be much obliged! 👍.

{Ed033's Note -

Taylor - Dykes poll

09 Jun 2020 10:27:10
SGL your posts always miss the most important choice, neither.

09 Jun 2020 10:41:19
Neither thanks👍.

09 Jun 2020 10:48:05
If our three for next year is Fredo, Defoe and one of those then don't fancy our chances. We need goals and there won't be enough between that lot.

09 Jun 2020 10:54:55
its getting goals from the others that's important. we are too reliant on Morelos or Defoe. we need goals from the wingers or midfield to make the difference.

09 Jun 2020 11:18:20
We need 4 strikers, as we should be playing 442 in the spl. We need two big TM, if we go 433 again then we won't win the league👍.

09 Jun 2020 11:34:21
Ceferin has said that games that have nit started ie no first leg will be played over one game. He then said likelihood is al. Games ties need to be the same.

09 Jun 2020 11:43:42
Fredo scored 29 goals in 46 games this season.
Defoe scored 17 goals in 32 games this season.
I think we do need a couple of different options up front this coming season but goals from our strikers hasn't been our biggest problem.
Goals from midfield
Defending better as a team. If we can improve on these things we'll have a good season.
If we change formation I can't see it being 4-4-2 that often.

09 Jun 2020 12:09:36
Correct MrGrumpy. Tactics weren't the only issue.
Too many players returned after the winter break out of form.
The defence conceded too many soft goals down to individual errors.
Too reliant on our main strikers for goals with our wingers and midfielders letting us down.
And not enough leaders in the team when the going for tough which was a disappointment considering you have McGregor, Davis, Jack, Arfield etc.

If we don't play 2 up top then we will drop daft points because we can't break teams down and we will lose the league. Its quite simple. A quality TM is a must👍.

Snell that's the worst post I've seen on here in a while. Must be close to 50 goals between fredo n Defoe.

09 Jun 2020 13:26:14
There was an old saying when we had the likes of mccoist and hateley etc. The saying was that if your 2 main strikers score 50+ goals between them, you won't be far away from winning the league. So snell what was that post of yours about? 🤔🤔.

09 Jun 2020 13:42:25
My post was about Fredo being first choice, backed up by Defoe who has done a good job but offers nothing different if plan A doesn't work. Then a third choice that's hardly prolific. If we go in with those three as only options and keep one up top we likely end up with the same result, which if neither of you have noticed is second and miles off the pace. It didn't work this year so what makes you think it will next?

09 Jun 2020 13:45:43
Also Defoe is another year older and do you think he has the legs to be a top back up for another whole season of 50/ 60 games? They scored 25 between them in the league this season, where they going to get the other 25 in the few games that were left to take them to this magic fifty?

Two strikers up top won't guarantee we'll be able to break down teams.
Having the option of a TM in squad is a good idea though.

Hi guys, quick question, all this talk on strikers for next season just now, how confident are you that Morelos and Defoe will provide the goals required, to my mind, it's all down to the feeding of our strikers from the Middle and wings, that's where we lost the league this season. If you look at Celtic, they had 5 or 6 players scoring vital goals in tight games, we had an occasional goal from midfield and out wide. We need horses for courses to win this league, and that means players with SPL experience, anything from England or Europe that works for us is a bonus.

Leverkusen have been weakened by the injury to Havertz. Do you think that Rangers can overcome Leverkusen assuming the fixture goes ahead?

09 Jun 2020 06:18:32
Honestly - no, I can't see that happening.

09 Jun 2020 06:56:04
It would take something incredible to overturn the first leg result but miracles do happen.

09 Jun 2020 07:41:54
Nothing impossible. Although they are a top side so am going to say no.

09 Jun 2020 08:32:29
Why not you got to dream, have to overcome 3-1, but it's not impossible,
But I'm sure some Celtic supporters will think it should be handed to leverkusen as they have been 3-1 ahead for many months, you know
Sporting Integrity and all. 😂😅🤣.

09 Jun 2020 09:36:39
No, but if we do we will have had to play really well. And if we had played really well the chances are we would also have played well for the remaining 9 games in the league and who knows what would have happened.

I think we will go out, but empty stadium key player missing early-ish goal. It's A Funny Old Game.

09 Jun 2020 10:35:15
Guys it appears first leg results in Europe will be wiped and we play Leverkusen over one leg in Madrid. Same semi one leg.

09 Jun 2020 10:43:24
If it's like John25 has suggested, then yes. 👍.

09 Jun 2020 10:56:18
If John is right i would say yes too, stranger things have happened away from home.

09 Jun 2020 11:26:43
Why would the first leg be void? Would love it to happen but it doesn't make sense. 👍.

09 Jun 2020 11:49:19
From what I've read I agree with John.

09 Jun 2020 14:58:27
As I see it, we've nothing to lose, get out there and get in about them from the off, no more cautious play at this stage, we have to take any chances we get though.

09 Jun 2020 16:07:10
If it is true the pressure would definitely be on the gerrys.
So if true yes we can and I'll put a grand on that one.
Please be true.
