Just after reading an article in which well known arsenal fan piers morgan said he can't believe arsenal got kieran tierney for as little as £25million🤔He said its robbery and arsenal stole him from celtic 🤔Him and a lot of the gunners supporters are stating that tierney would get in any team in the english premier league, as their left back ATM 🤔
I'll honestly admit that i think and always have thought, that tierney is a superb left back, but we also have a superb left back in borna barisic 👌🇬🇧 There's not much between barisic and tierney IMO fellow bears 🤔
What's your thoughts on this 🤔ED'S what's your take on this also guys?

Robbo for me, best left back in the world 👍 torrent is immense though. Think Scotland should play him at right back not centre half. A player I really rate as a left back and I think would be great replacement for bb if he is to leave this summer is Patrick van Aanholt. I believe his contracts up in the summer and he’s been linked with Ajax so I’m sure we could match his wage demands if he’s considering playing in Holland.

Ed KT is a better defender than robbo it’s just robbo is better going forward.


SGL I may take some stick for this but hands down KT is better than barasic Just my opinion.

{Ed001's Note - I disagree, they are equally as good defensively. Robbo just plays for a team that asks him to do less defending. It is very close though, they are both great players. Just a shame that Scotland has produced two great players at the same time and they both play the same position!}

{Ed001's Note - I don't know. I haven't seen a lot of him play to be honest. Seen him probably twice in full games. He looked excellent but the quality of the opposition was not that good, as they were both games against Celtic ;-)

Borna's a talented left back, there's no doubt about that and croatia's current no.1 left back 👌
I rate both andy robertson and kieran tierney very highly indeed!
Both are terrific left backs and imo barisic is up there 👌🇬🇧.

{Ed001's Note - he did look good but I just don't like to judge players on one or two views as you can get a false impression. The issue with Barisic is his age. The full-back position is the most demanding in modern football, it really takes a lot of energy, so he probably only have a few years left at his peak.}

Tierney is playing well but nowhere near Robertson's standard imo. I think Borna is better than Tierney and is more of a goal threat. Regular Croatian LB, says it all really.

Barasic is far better than Robertson. Robertson is good but over rated. Playing with good players makes him look good. The amount of cross balls he gives away is high. Barasics speed, crosses and free kicks are superb and shouldn't go unnoticed.

That’s a bold statement stuck? I also think borna is top drawer and could easily be 1st choice left back for top teams in Europe. He would walk into Man Utd, wolves, Man City, Southampton, however I still rate robbo as the best in the world. His energy levels are off the chart.

Robertson all day long for me, by a mile. He intimidates forwards and midfielders, and has a wee jastybstreak. Also can provide amazing service when going forward and does NOT so far suffer from injury. Best in the world at the mo.

I would rather have Teirney than Robertson. Very close, but although he played for them, I always really admired KT. Some of the treatment he got was outrageous when he left. He gave absolutely everything for them and some of them denied him the opportunity to go on to the levels he is currently at. He definitely has a bigger move coming and I wish the boy nothing but the best 👏🏻.

Robertson great at going forward - Pathetic at defending.

Tierney far better at defending and pretty good going forward.

Think Borna is a good balance between the two tbh. If I had to choose between them and I’m not being biased I would actually go 1. Borna, 2. Tierney 3. Robertson.

Basically that comes from the blend between attacking and defence. Think Borna excels in both and the other two a weight slightly more to one over the other.

Guys i know this is a rangers site but for me KT is the better left back than andy robertson. The fact he has won the EPL and champions league glosses over everything. We have the croatia left back who is outstanding and will go on to prove it in a better league than scotland. Easily command £20m. KT for me is class tho. Robertson is good but KT is the better alround player. Anyhow, onwards to 55 and still say 50k for kamara is a steal. he will be the one who we can get real money for in imo in terms of what we paid to what we sell him for. Plenty assets at ibrox, hopefully we can bring in a few gems to add to the quality and keep the resale value going. This time last season we blew it. gers win tomoz and put in a dominant performance then mentally for gers players will be massive where it will be mentally bad for Celtic. feel a loss tommorow will pick Celtic up and give them the belief the same will happen this year as happend last year while the doubt then creeps into gers team possibly thinking the same.55 starts tommorow 🔴⚪🔵🔥🔥🔥.

Dd I fee we have shown a far stronger mentality already this season. The win against mwell after going 1 down being one example aswel as against them digging in and managing to get that all important goal. We have shown we have what it takes to win ugly something we have failed previous. If jack can get upto speed quickly then that’s a massive bonus and hopefully roofe and arfield will be back soon enough to help with the final push. We have strength in depth this time and it’s showing already!

I'm a big Hagi fan and appreciate what he brings to the team. He tries the passes that others don't. I accept everyone's opinion but politely disagree that he wasn't good enough at the start of the season. He was creating tonnes of chances for others and getting an assist practically every game he played. I will agree that he is sometimes a bit lightweight and can get bullied a bit but I think he is a really good Rangers player. Not sure what we would get for him but I certainly hope he's with us for a few years to come.

I agree mocbear I think hagi was doing fine before he lost his place. His assists numbers are great he’s scored a few goals and important ones aswell. I would put a value of £8-£10m quite easily. His age ability two footed vision and killer pass his set pieces. I think &10m is very fair.

For those unsure of rules regarding a C.V. affected season, the SPFL sent out the following questions to clubs. And they never set anything out in stone if it was to happen again. Nothing is of the table this season.
1. Clubs recently rejected a A total of 20 clubs agreed they would be content to give the SPFL board at this stage in the season power to curtail the campaign (on a points per game basis) if a particular threshold of matches had been played by the date of curtailment.
Just 17 clubs agreed that they would be content to give the SPFL board the power now to void the season if an insufficient number of matches had been played by the date of curtailment.
Twelve clubs were in favour of the SPFL board being granted broad powers to manage further C.V. related disruption to the season.
Only four clubs were in favour of the SPFL Board being given the power to impose a 3-0 defeat on any club not fulfilling a fixture.
Nineteen clubs felt that it was "too early to take decisions now" and that decisions on any C.V. related disruption should be considered later in the season. resolution that would have given the SPFL Board broad powers to manage C.V. related disruption to the League programme this season. Would you now support such a resolution if it were brought back to clubs?
2. Would you support the SPFL Board being given a specific power to impose a 3-0 defeat on any club that is unwilling or unable to fulfil a League fixture, so as to expedite the completion of the League programme of fixtures.
3. With all the uncertainty about the progress of the C.V. and the impact of further disruption on the Season, do you think it is too early to take binding decisions now about the various issues that could arise at the end of a curtailed Season? If not now, when do you think the time would be right to make such decisions?
4a. How many league fixtures do you believe need to have been completed for a Season in a Division to be considered as 'valid' in the event of curtailment? 9This would include promotion through playoffs)
4b. How many league fixtures do you believe need to have been completed for a Season in a Division to be considered as 'valid' in the event of curtailment? (This would cancel all playoffs)
5. Would you support a resolution giving the SPFL Board the express power to curtail the season for your Division, in the event that the Board consider that Season 2020/ 21 cannot be completed by 31 May 2021, and in the event that the relevant number of games (at answer 4.a or 4.b, above) have been completed by 31 May 2021?
6. Was actually thinking the same Bar72, and he’s not the only one, a number of there players, manager and past players have been making statements like this all week. They all seem super fired up for this game, in a way that I’ve never seen in all the years they were meant to be ‘challenging’ Celtic when we weren’t even in the league.
In the meantime our players have been quietly going about their business. I’m sure they will all have noticed the stuff the Aberdeen players have been saying though!

I am in my late 60's and would disagree there has always been aggro between us and them. I lived up there and most of my schoolmates were Rangers fans and the rest A'deen. Never met anyone who supported them.
Also does anyone remember when we became know as H**S? In sixties Rangers were any team you didn't like.

Roofe has been a great signing but the fact he gets injured a lot is a big problem and must have been the reason anderlecht were quick to let him go we really need to get another winger/ right/ left forward in whatever you want to call it.

On one hand I understand what you are saying sirwalter, but to be quite honest, up to now we have played well enough to deserve lifting the trophy. Personally I actually agree with one of the other posters said on here and that was that of league was stopped, it should be played to a finish at a later stage. I understand with the euros this year, that might not be entirely possible though.

In my opinion if the league is stopped then there is no way we should be sending a team abroad to play in a tournament so we should use that time to finish our season. Its all hypothetical of course but if the league is called null and void then so be it we go again when the situation allows sure, we will all moan and call conspiracy, corruption etc. but the fact is it would show their 8 3/ 4 in a row for what it was and they certainly wouldn't be going for 10 at the restart. This season we have been the best team in Scotland by a country mile and one of the best teams in the Europa league so what do we have to fear?
