Think Kane hemmings would be a good signing for next year? already scoring goals for fun at Dundee and has great potential. kind of player Warburton could get the best out of.

10 Feb 2016 03:59:53
Dont agree mate. moving forward the key. should have kept him probs, however pastures new with recruitments the way to go.

10 Feb 2016 09:03:35
Would be a great signing. I've raved about him a lot on this site. can't see another striker anywhere who we could get that's better in front of goal than him.

10 Feb 2016 09:24:21
Stand back from the mirror -look yourself in the, eye and say Kane Hemming is the best player around to be our centre forward and goal scorer for Glasgow Rangers - he is the future and there isn't a better centre forward in the UK - if you manage to repeat it twice you should see the error in your judgement. - decent player he may be but he ain't the player to lead The Rangers attack next season -.

10 Feb 2016 10:44:25
We won't be buying the best strikers in UK because we can't afford them and Warburton does not work that way I think hemmings is a great shout and playing for Warburton he could be an amazing signing.

10 Feb 2016 10:50:24
Couldnt have put it better myself afcw191.

10 Feb 2016 11:15:55
Another coisty catastrophe
Tommy.

10 Feb 2016 11:52:14
I would be really disappointed if Kane Hemmings was our striker of choice next season.

09 Feb 2016 18:18:02
Is the ticket website always crap?
I have tried all day to get K'nock tickets and don't get to the bit where I actually can pay for them.

I have tried to use this three times previously and always ended up going to the ticket office.

09 Feb 2016 18:31:16
Go to ticket section then log in and select kilmarnock away and if u have a season ticket u can purchase 1 ticket.

09 Feb 2016 21:11:49
Got mine as stated above if your a season ticket holder your able to purchase them now online on the Rangers website under tickets but you can't buy more than 1

Hope this helps people trying to get a ticket for Tuesday night.

09 Feb 2016 22:15:10
When will non season ticket holders be able to buy tickets?

09 Feb 2016 22:32:32
They would get a chance if any left I would assume mate but I think u mite struggle a think they would get snapped by season ticket holders.

09 Feb 2016 22:45:36
Shite :-/ I will wait and see I guess. Should be a good game though and hopefully no woodwork this time!

10 Feb 2016 08:23:30
It's gonney be bouncing on Tuesday night may as well turn rugby park to the blue sea of ibrox haha.

10 Feb 2016 10:27:26
Thanks for the tips guys but three of us have been trying on different machines and we get the tickets into the basket but when we try to check out nothing happens.
Same thing happened for league cup tickets earlier on this season.

10 Feb 2016 12:43:11
It worked no problem for me last night but there has been an email sent out now if your a season ticket holder to buy online my advice is get yourself down to the ticket office at ibrox and get it but they are only selling to season ticket holders 1 per holder a got mine this morning after opting to collect instead of post hope this helps.

09 Feb 2016 17:03:43
I Know, judging on 2 games is no great comparison, but there was not a great difference between us and Killie, yes we were the better but not by much, or Hearts and Hibs, though Hearts were a little batter. Even with no additions I think we'd be a shoe in for top 4. If as we all hope we get 4 or 5 players of a higher or equal to our best players for next season we are looking in great shape. Add to that our younger players are bound to improve exciting times ahead.

09 Feb 2016 13:51:38
I keep hearing rumours that Ian durrant will lose his job with the under 20s they got beat again yesterday to Falkirk, it doesn't help that the best under 20s are out on loan so I'm sure that's a factor but as I said I heard his time at Rangers is coming to an end, don't know when or how much truth is in it but I thought I would post it anyway.

09 Feb 2016 13:56:24
Hopefully he gets sacked and a new progressive Warburton-esque coach is brought in.

09 Feb 2016 13:57:35
Surely he should be judged on producing young players and getting them ready for first team rather than on results.

09 Feb 2016 14:10:35
He should be preparing young players on how to play the way we play now and obviously if we are winning games then we are producing good players and consistently losing games is what makes a youth players morale lower and could make them want to leave.

09 Feb 2016 15:35:36
For those who don't know, Ian durrant was the finest footballer in Britain in my opinion after Coop we have never seen such talent, maybe lauders and ba.

09 Feb 2016 17:30:25
durrant should be more a legend than mcoist for sure
we have never produced such a gifted player.

09 Feb 2016 17:41:55
The philosophy in our youth has changed. its not about winning its about learning. in our under 20 team we have several 16 17 year old boys. don't worry about results people. look at young liam burt.16 year old starring an getting man of match awards for our under 20 then gets on the bench for us at ibrox. hopefuly murray park will start producing players on regular basis with our new philosophy.

09 Feb 2016 20:50:43
Its funny how 2 people disagree lol what u don't want murray park producing players lol.

09 Feb 2016 14:17:29
How good are they if they keep losing though? If none of the young players are good enough to win under 20 games then why would they make the first team? Obviously one or two will show up but most good youths come from winning teams.

10 Feb 2016 11:00:38
Durrant's unfortunate injury which cut short his career has given him a coaching job at rangers because his pals were running the club. I don't think the old pals act washes with warburton, so if durrant is not performing to the standard warburton requires, he will go. Do you think Ally would have let Durrant go if he was under performing? I think not.

10 Feb 2016 11:02:29
Its not about results its about learning and producing players hence the name DEVELOPMENT league i think durrant is doing a good job in the youths seems to be a lot of good young players coming through from U20 to U15s.

10 Feb 2016 11:34:52
Some people will never understand the philosophy of development and learning, for yrs and yrs coaches abroad have shown no serious interest in winning at all costs, simply learning, we on the other hand can't grasp that function, the same people who scream at kids on the sides of school pitches, pathetic
Tommy.

09 Feb 2016 18:30:28
i would like to think there should be a place somewhere for him afterall he was the only one to take a pay cut amongst the coaching staff and because of his injury never would be on a big salary while playing we talk of the rangers family well ian durrant should be looked after by it.

10 Feb 2016 12:33:39
Durrants injury never cut short his career at all. It certainly diminished him as a player, but he played until he was 36 and he done his stint under Walter for a few years. Its not like Kennedy at Celtic which is a total sympathy act. Warburton kept him on when he came in but got rid of Durie, so he's there on merit.

10 Feb 2016 23:40:20
He has already been well looked after. Family yes, charity case no.

09 Feb 2016 08:14:14
The Scottish Cup replays between Hibernian and Hearts and Kilmarnock and Rangers on 16 February face a TV blackout because Uefa rules dictate matches cannot be screened live at the same time as Champions League action.

that is an absolute farce, is the whole of the footballing world being ran by absolute fuds. making small teams miss out on around 80k each purely for really bad champions league games.

09 Feb 2016 10:17:19
but surely this where all teams want to be the champions league and at least they have some rules in place
to protect their product
also hopefully with gams not on television we will g an idea
on how many fans will turn out to see the replay.

09 Feb 2016 10:26:33
bowmac, that's not really the point mate? are you really defending this decision by saying atleast we get to know how many fans will be at the game? not everyone can make away games, there should not be a restriction on televised games due to champions league games, personally I couldn't give a flying monkey about the champions league currently, I'd rather watch my team, fortunately I can go to the replay.

09 Feb 2016 14:02:33
The English flaunted this rule a couple of seasons back and got a slap on wrist. Can't remember the exact game but know it involved Liverpool (who were out of Europe) .

For some reason we seem to cower to every rule eufa make up, whereas many other associations seem to do what they want. Italian and Greek authorities have failed to implement crowd control rules for years now for example.

{Ed001's Note - are you sure? Because I have no idea what you are talking about, I have never heard of English football televising a game when Champions League football is on.}

09 Feb 2016 15:30:19
sceptic played st Johnstone one year with a 5.30 kick off time I'm sure to get round the euro to rule.

09 Feb 2016 15:45:06
Even though you're a fud "Ed" he's a bigger wan. I think you're right. Cheers for letting the GIMP bar me by the way!

{Ed001's Note - what are you gibbering on about? Have you been dropped on your head recently?}

09 Feb 2016 17:38:34
onlyshowaround we have to appreciate that not everyone
can make the replay but the idea is to make the premier league to try and qualify for the champions league sadly today the game is all about money
I hope they do not make it a 530 ick off for tv as that would be a kick in the balls for us fans taking a day of work to go the game.

09 Feb 2016 18:34:15
i am afraid there is not much joined up thinking among the suits at hampden in fact the only thing they could join u would be a dot dash colouring book maybe and then they would get the colours wrong.

10 Feb 2016 15:32:00
Ed sorry my mistake the game I was referring to was not televised but according to UEFA rules at the time it should not have been played on a champions league match night.

{Ed001's Note - ok.}

08 Feb 2016 21:52:11
As we all know jason holt and andy halliday both signed new improved contracts with rangers up until 2020 with hopefully barrie mckay to follow, I think we should next get big rob kiernan tied down to a longer term contract as he only signed a 2 year deal at the beginning of the season, in the summer he'd be entering his final year with us, kiernan is easily our best centre half by a distance and has grown on me big style, he's a no nonsense centre half who's tremendous in the air, very strong in the tackle and keeps it simple with his passing, imo kiernan is a solid all round centre half who has all the attributes to go on to play in the english premiership at a much higher level, what's your thoughts fellow bears?

09 Feb 2016 10:01:10
totally agree, he is turning into a top CB.

09 Feb 2016 13:56:19
Yip mark warburton said a while back big rob could go on and play at the highest level and the press laughed at him, well their not laughing now as he's getting better every game he plays.

09 Feb 2016 14:11:35
One week the guy isn't good enough and needs replaced the next week he's a top class star in the making. Truth is some where between the two.

Wait and see how he does in the top flight before measuring him up for a premiership team. It's madness to say he's top drawer when he's facing mediocre opposition.

Also can't understand why any fans are happy with our manager tipping our better players for moves. Unless we can keep a hold of our better players and only sell them on our terms at a good price then the team and club will never progress.

Noticed a real pattern of some posters regurgitating selected quotes from the manager as some sort of gospel. Think for yourselves guys.

09 Feb 2016 15:35:09
Luigi the standard in the top league isn't much better also luigi everything you post is cut and paste from jj or 3 names blogs so hardly in a position to tell people to think for themselves.

09 Feb 2016 17:35:52
Luigi I, ll keep posting comments from mark warburton as not all fans get to hear it at that time, if u read my post I never said he's top drawer I said he's getting better every game he plays and guess what that's what happens in football players take time to gell him and Wilson are starting to find a partnership together as for the gaffer trying to sell our best players? No he's not, he's talking his players up to the press, it's good management as players like it when their manager talks highly of them, sometimes u annoy me luigi its constant negativity from u, yes your opinion counts too but I wish u could be more positive now and again mate.

09 Feb 2016 21:51:29
Well said delboy. I couldn't agree more. Great post mate.

10 Feb 2016 15:50:04
Didn't cut and paste anything, don't even know who's blog your talking about. If you find comments elsewhere that echo my views its for a very good reason.

Sorry if my comments are annoying but I find the way some fans are going on to be a total embarrassment.

Branding critical comments as simply being negative is weak. Wether you like it or not there is at least some truth in my words.

09 Feb 2016 01:15:16
I think we should go for Gareth macally he will be free at the end of the season would bring great experience and is a solid defender. other players I would like are vaulks, billy Mackay, Craig sibbald and maybe 1 more midfielder and another striker what do uou guys think.

09 Feb 2016 11:42:39
Billy mackay is not good enough for next season, we need a top class striker, don't know how much money we will have but that's what we need.

09 Feb 2016 17:37:26
Tell u another thing I wish we still had Kane hemmings as I think he would thrive under warburton.

09 Feb 2016 18:08:06
Are these players the level of your ambition? Dear oh dear.

09 Feb 2016 20:47:11
OK wee-ecky who's the players u would like. a lot of fans are looking at the bigger picture tht we don't have coin to burn these days. we are going for good players tht have always been over looked by us because the crazy spending tht sent us where we was.

09 Feb 2016 18:37:51
if we get up next season we will need a couple of top notch players that are better than anyone else in the league if we are to make an immediate impact in the top division.
