Come on Gers, win by a few tomorrow, make it convincing and none of this struggling like we often do against lesser teams in big games like the 2008 Cup Final v QOS.

09 Apr 2016 19:13:48
56-0 might wear them out.

10 Apr 2016 09:00:44
Just hope we don't struggle against a lesser club next Sunday.

09 Apr 2016 18:16:36
Bye bye Newcastle and Mike Ashley haha onwards and upwards glasgow rangers.

09 Apr 2016 18:30:35
like all teddy bears would be glad to see the back of Ashley
feel sorry for Newcastle though.

09 Apr 2016 20:26:04
That's the thing we feel bad for newcastle but we need rid of him, who'll he sells them who knows maybe our trust will step up.

09 Apr 2016 21:43:16
Wouldn't be too surprised if Ashley has an entitlement to cash in his loans to Newcastle if they get relegated. By all accounts the relegated teams get £185 Million parachute payments and who's bet against him grabbing the lion's share to the detriment of the club? On another note I watched the other lot play today and couldn't help noticing that they were blowing out their behind's after about 70 minutes.

09 Apr 2016 22:03:27
They've been rotten this season. they deserve to go down. they have some cracking players. they've just been rubbish. it's not Ashley's fault they're not winning. I'll be glad when they go down.

10 Apr 2016 00:28:21
As far as i know Newcastle invested 60mill plus on players (all mid to attackers) Must have forgot about defence. Remember going to the Mcoist testamonial in 92/93 against them and trading scarfs outside ibrox. Good fans and don't deserve Ashley any more than we did (and still do btw) instead of celebrating there second relagation of his LOANERSHIP we should sympithise with our fellow victims and regard ourselves fortunate we have shacked the person off for now, however his claws are still well and truly scratching the surface of our great club and no remedy can remove him atm.

Good luck Newcastle and there great supporters (and any sport Direct employees) MA's empire is declining as we speak and he deserves misery, not gers and geordie fans who love there clubs and support them both on and off the park. no surrender to corrupt investors.

10 Apr 2016 00:44:43
Ianio80 i can't imagine any of our support having any dislike to newcastle unt, clu nor fans, it mike ahley that's the problem, they should boycott thrre ground and his shops until they get rid of hhim. imho.

10 Apr 2016 08:56:56
Whoever is signing there players is at fault, they spent money but on the wrong positions.

10 Apr 2016 09:59:37
yeah agree. however some fans of Rangers seem to welcome Newcastle relagation which is iminate and unfortunite for the club and the fans.

10 Apr 2016 11:32:32
Ianio80 nnewcastle going down might rid us of ashley, we've nowt against thre club or support but we need to look after our clubso i hope they go down, ashley has the money to get them promoted again, the guy is a rouge, imho.

09 Apr 2016 17:02:50
great results today bears! falkirk raith! newcastle dundee utd aston villa hibs all losing! fantastic stuff delighted at this and well done killie too . oh yes good times ahead! gone very quite mr stubbs? still think your off to the pathe (tic) poetic justice done even if its olny for this weekend.

09 Apr 2016 17:11:18

Your being a bit unfair on Stubbsy he can still go for the Single! LMAO.

09 Apr 2016 17:31:09
bongo do they still have job centres up there?

09 Apr 2016 17:34:52
the only single stubbsy will get will be a single fare back down south!

09 Apr 2016 21:01:47
Brian or maybe a single of the ice cream van. lol.

10 Apr 2016 00:03:50
Falkirk and Raith won the day btw mate, just thought i'd correct you, but aye man was nice to see Dundee Utd getting beat and Hibs and Newcastle. simple reason, i'm glad Newcastle got beat is to get that 'Person', Mike Ashley OUT!

09 Apr 2016 17:01:42
What a good day for gers fans even tho we never kicked a ball. dundee utd lost and kilmarnock won to widen the gap. newcastle lost an crystal palace won to widen the gap. hibs lost an falkurk won to widen gap from 2nd and 3rd. my perfect season. gers to win treble. falk7rk to go up with us and newcastle to go down.

09 Apr 2016 18:23:17
I know where you guys are coming from regarding wanting newcastle utd relegated but they are my favourite english team and I just can't bring myself to wanting them to go down. I dislike mike ashley like the rest of the bears and for the record the toon army don't particularly like him either but its a shame a great club and fans as newcastle are are stuck with him through no fault of their own.

I have many newcastle utd fans as good friends of mine and they like rangers up here also so I can't bring myself in hoping they go down although glasgow rangers do without doubt come before any other team, I only support one team the famous glasgow rangers and I like to see newcastle doing well as they're my favourite english club, there is a difference you know.

09 Apr 2016 21:04:43
Davie I've said on here from day one i wanted falkirk to go up with us, maybe its because of a wee forecast I've got on from before the season started. lol.

10 Apr 2016 00:09:16
Warburtonthefifteenth, let's hope Newcastle do go down, then Mike Ashley Sells his Shares in our club. then hopefully just for you, he sells Newcastle and then Newcastle make it back into Premier League in the 1st or 2nd go. the guy is a 'person' btw, and he shouldn't be anywhere near any club tbh.

10 Apr 2016 11:27:11
Its not just me that doesn't want newcastle utd to get relegated because of their greedy owner the majority of bears I know have a healthy affiliation with nufc and their fans, I would say its only a minority of bears who want newcastle relegated and for nowt because I've read even if the toon do go down he can still hold onto his 10% shares in rangers international holdings, I feel so sorry for newcastle and the geordie fans as they're left with this greedy owner through no fault of their own, I hope they stay up, simple as that!

09 Apr 2016 16:16:40
Caley now 2 up against the feeder club. Killie winning as well. Shame!

09 Apr 2016 16:43:38
The seeker aye its a shame, its a shame that the finel time whistle ain't been blown yet lol.

09 Apr 2016 17:02:31
They think its all over. it is now.

No comments on here from those keen to comment on EBT's etc regarding Mr Desmond's involvement with Panama?

{Ed033's Note - For posters and readers; in theory, we have the rumours and banter pages for rumours/talk about Rangers, a 'Finance' page for posts regarding Rangers' finances and an 'Other' page for non-rangers posts or posts that are not worth posting on the rumours or banter pages.

However, some Eds don't always keep to the above, so if you want to view all posts, then visit all 4 of those pages using the menu at the top of the pages.

Posts about Mr Desmond could be on the 'Other' page.

Is anyone else surprised that our oldest midfielder next season, before any signings have been made will be Andy Halliday at 24?

Obviously signings will be made but even the possibility of Harry Winks, that still leaves a very young midfield.

Really hope the rumours about Kevin McDonald come good for our club. Or at least we get an experienced Holding Midfielder in. Missed out on Eustace and Diagouraga.

That position needs experience next season.

09 Apr 2016 12:39:19
MF is the key area for next season imo.

We have the players in defence and up front, just need some cover, but in MF we need more power and experience which would help our defence out that has been left exposed too often.

As much as I like Holt and Halliday being 'one of us', they are just too lightweight and don't have the defensive abilities to hold the midfield over the course.

We need 2 more quality players in there then we will be looking solid. A better CB couldn't hurt either.

09 Apr 2016 13:35:41
I disagree with that a bit Johan. A think Holt and Halliday will look the part next year in the SPFL. Hallidays tackling is getting better for his stint in the CDM role and I think it will be the making of him as a player. Once they get a decent CDM behind them they'll be fine, both held their own in the English Championship. Also Windass will be pushing Holt for his place, but Holt is tough for his size and covers a lot of grass every game for the team.
If we start they 2 with Ball behind them against Celtic I think we'll pass round about them,

09 Apr 2016 12:44:13
We badly need cb's.

09 Apr 2016 10:08:44
How many doors do the sheep need left open for them?
That was their opportunity to put a bit of pressure on and they went down like a cheap Bangkok ladyboy!

09 Apr 2016 10:40:16
Yes they did pie. A very insightful and we'll put together post. You should be writing for a quality tabloid.

09 Apr 2016 11:07:07
Every time Celtic drop points so do Aberdeen the very next game, bottle merchants!

09 Apr 2016 11:42:53
Hope you're right!

09 Apr 2016 15:25:55
They were never serious title challengers. That lot know that they are likely to drop points against any team and very seldom capitalise on them slipping up.

09 Apr 2016 21:07:49
Pieandbovril what way does a bankok lady boy go down mate? Lol lol.

09 Apr 2016 10:03:55
I would rather Hibs go up as Falkirk are a more dangerous proposition.

09 Apr 2016 11:10:25
Scratching my head at this one for a number of reasons, Hibs being Hibs but there's a certain Mr Stubbs to factor into the equation. I don't know why you would fear Falkirk in the Premier League but this view is certainly not one I share. I'm hoping Hibs have to play Raith before Falkirk before, looks like Kilmarnock and we all know what 6 matches in the playoffs is like. Maybe Stubbs will buy Allan back and have another crack at the Championship next season.

09 Apr 2016 11:25:00
Id rather falkirk go up all day long, good well run club with excellant opportunities for young players and using stirlings state of the art facilities, that boy vaulks came up and for a few months played for nothing just to try and get game time, hibs i'd rather get pumped out at the first opportunity.

09 Apr 2016 12:14:29
Kfraser: Just weighing it up, I for one would rather play Hibs than Falkirk, feel they are more of a threat in a one off game than Hibs. Another way of looking at the overall picture.

09 Apr 2016 12:46:31
We would play them 4 times in the league.

09 Apr 2016 15:27:37
I hope Hibs go up as rangers v Hibs matches are far better than Rangers v Falkirk or Raith. Great rivalry between the clubs and always a bit of needle.

09 Apr 2016 16:29:28
Yes I know but on each given game I would rather play Hibs than Falkirk.

09 Apr 2016 10:01:17
So much for Hearts having 17 players with a virus, I knew that would happen.

09 Apr 2016 13:03:01
Aberdeen have fallen for that one two games in a row, Motherwell claimed a sickness bug had floored their squad.

09 Apr 2016 14:01:57
Aberdeen have Hibs'd it.
